Chapter 582 - 536: The Ten Thousand Forms Sanctuary Is Still Too Strong

His entire destiny would be usurped, and he would become one of Shi Ming’s "forms." His skills and fate would be inherited by this form, continuing to exist, yet they would no longer belong to him.

In other words, everything he had, including his name and his very destiny, was stolen.

[Ron will covertly replace his target, becoming the sole owner of the Divine Rune and the heir to the First Civilization Cosmic Country.]

This was the future Ron had once foreseen using his Nirvana skill, Destiny.

Now, Destiny had indeed arrived.

In a twisted way.

...

...

...

The Sword in the Stone slew Ron, the Ten Thousand Forms Sanctuary usurped his destiny, and Shi Ming obtained a new form.

All of this happened in a matter of seconds.

Quickly snatching up the Origins of Ron’s relics, Destiny and Empty Shell, Shi Ming activated the Time Pause Rune within his Four-Dimensional Sanctuary. He leaped toward the Teleportation Vortex on the planet, which was on the verge of going supernova. Just before the star exploded, he jumped in, casting Eternal Sanctuary and Black Tortoise Shield on himself for good measure.

The power of the Sword in the Stone was immense; it had even torn through the force field a god had used to seal the planet.

The Eternal Well was destroyed.

This was only the beginning.

An even more terrifying catastrophe was to follow. Fortunately, the planet was devoid of any other life. Not wanting to get caught in the supernova’s blast, Shi Ming had to leave as quickly as possible.

WHOOSH—

He swiftly teleported to the next vortex hub, appearing in an instant on a new, distant planet.

Shi Ming raised his head, looking back in the direction he had come from.

His vision was limited by the speed of light. As far as his eyes could see, everything was still normal; the blue giant star still shone with a cold light at its original coordinates.

But back in the original Star Domain, an incandescent light had erupted. Terrifying energies intertwined to form an ever-expanding flower of death, already tens of millions of kilometers in diameter. Deep within, an incredibly dense neutron star was forming, spinning at unimaginable speeds!

The supernova had exploded!

Shi Ming landed on the new planet. Using his Ten Thousand Forms Sanctuary, he transformed into the likeness of the Six-armed Giant, Ron, and began to feel out this new ’form’. Though Ron had fallen, Shi Ming had inherited everything he was. In his hands, the mercury-colored Origin of Destiny and the pale white Origin of Empty Shell spun and shifted. As spoils of war, their value was immense.

The Right Arm Red Pattern stirred restlessly.

[Devour the Origin of Destiny or the Origin of Empty Shell for a boost to your physical stats?]

[If devoured by the Right Arm Red Pattern, the Origin will not grant you any new skills. It will only provide a 50% boost to your stats.]

The Right Arm Red Pattern hadn’t devoured anything in a long time. Its last target had been a Disaster-rank Colorful Insect.

Shi Ming thought for a moment.

’Devour Empty Shell!’

’I’ll keep Destiny.’

The red pattern spread from his arm to his palm, as if seeping out from his very skin. The crimson markings wrapped around the pale white Origin of Empty Shell. The energy that had once belonged to Ron was unraveled like silk from a cocoon, nibbled away and devoured!

[Congratulations. You have devoured the Nirvana Origin "Empty Shell."]

[Attack Power: 6914]

[Vitality: 5377]

[Endurance: 6868]

[Defense Power: 5199]

[Spiritual Power: 37,595,209]

Nearly every stat had increased by over 1,000 points, and that was with the 50% reduction. However, because his base Spiritual Power was so enormous, a boost of just over a thousand points was insignificant for a number already in the tens of millions.

Only with such a high Spiritual Power could he unleash such terrifying might when wielding the Sword in the Stone.

’I’ve inherited Ron’s destiny and skills.’

’His twelve treasures, along with the spatial armlet he used for storage, were annihilated by the might of the Sword in the Stone. There was no chance to recover them. It’s a real pity. Those artifacts and treasures weren’t exceptionally valuable, but they were spoils of war nonetheless.’

But it couldn’t be helped.

’When using a killing move, how could I hold back for fear of collateral damage?’

He folded the body’s six arms. In this state of myriad forms, his destiny and skills were a completely new template. This was especially true now that the Ten Thousand Forms Sanctuary had become a part of ’Zero’ and gained its ’status,’ drastically increasing the upper limit of his ability to usurp destinies.

Whether it was Ron’s Destiny and Empty Shell, or his other Holy Hall Skills and S-rank skills, he could now use them all.

’I just need to get used to this body.’

’Besides being the regent of the First Civilization Cosmic Country, I’ve now also become the Sovereign of the Thirty-Seventh Cosmic Country.’

’How fascinating.’

’Now that I’ve dealt with the lingering trouble that was Ron, it’s time to head back to the Primordial Star. I wonder if that Amonev has figured out our next plan. With Candela gone from the team and Huang Ji dead, it’s two-on-two. The advantage is mine.’

’If I miss this chance, it’ll be hard to find a similar opportunity.’

Shi Ming decided to contact A’li again soon. Although she hadn’t yet delivered on the one favor she’d promised, Shi Ming didn’t mind helping them first.

His title, Heir of the Gods, flashed for a moment.

He entered the Teleportation Vortex once more.

The blue giant star had been destroyed, affecting several nearby Teleportation Vortex hubs. Shi Ming decided to take a different route back. Although it was a detour, he wouldn’t lose much aside from a little time. After all, as the Heir of the Gods, he could use this equipment completely free of charge.

Next stop, Prison Spirit Star.

The stop after that, Embers Star...

The distances between each of these former life-bearing planets, all equipped with a Teleportation Vortex, were immense. Yet with the vortices, travel was instantaneous. No wonder an ordinary person had to pay a fee of 100 Civilization Stones for a single trip—it was an incredible value.

...

Shi Ming traveled through seven hubs in a row.

Next stop, Glacier Star.

It was perennially covered in thick glaciers. During the 120,000-year-long Age of Tombs, these glaciers hadn’t melted in the slightest. Instead, they had absorbed some of the aura of annihilation, forming an even colder "perfect ice."

It was comparable to absolute zero.

The Six-armed Giant, Shi Ming, stepped out of the vortex, pausing for a moment’s rest.

In that very instant, he sensed something amiss. A distinct feeling of suffocation permeated the space around him. The air above the perfect ice seemed to have frozen solid, and even his movements felt slowed to half speed, as if he had entered the echo of a Titan’s descent upon the Divine Hall of Time.

’Time has frozen?’

A complex look crossed Shi Ming’s face.

He kept his expression neutral as a temporal rift tore open in the space far above. A giant, over thirty meters tall, stepped through. His skin was covered in arcane patterns—half gold, half silver. He emerged from the rift and looked down upon him.

"Little Ron."

"Your speed surprises me."

Shi Ming "respectfully" bowed his body, his eyes shifting almost imperceptibly.

...

"Your Excellency."

"Your will is my command."
