Mu Tiantian received the call just as the press conference ended. She and Bai Chenyao hadn’t entered the elevator yet when her phone rang.
"Brother, what’s up?"
Noticing that the reporters hadn’t left yet, Mu Tiantian quickly turned around, facing away from them, and spoke in a low voice.
"Grandfather fell ill and is now at the City Center Hospital. You and Chen Yao must come over immediately!"
Mu Tiantian felt a jolt in her heart and responded quickly.
"Okay, we’re coming over right away!"
After hanging up the phone, Mu Tiantian looked at Bai Chenyao beside her, noticing he had slightly lowered his head and was looking at her with an inquisitive expression.
"Grandfather fell ill!"
There was a deep gleam in Bai Chenyao’s eyes. He glanced at Li Mu, who understood and quickly walked out.
Holding Mu Tiantian’s hand, Bai Chenyao turned around and directly exited the Bai Group’s first-floor lobby under the incredulous gaze of the reporters who hadn’t left yet.
"What’s going on?"
"Looks like they’re heading out!"
"Second Miss Mu just received a call!"

When Mu Tiantian and Bai Chenyao arrived at the City Center Hospital, Mu Qinghan had just been transferred from the emergency room to the VIP ward.
The ward was next to Mu Haiyun’s, convenient for the Mu Family to take care of him.
"Li Mu, call security over. No reporters are allowed on this floor!"
"Yes, sir!"
After giving the instructions, Bai Chenyao and Mu Tiantian went into the elevator.
At the ward’s door, before they could push it open, the door was suddenly pulled open, and Mu Tiantian saw her brother Mu Haiyang walking out with a serious expression.
"Tiantian, Chen Yao, you’re here!"
"How’s grandfather?"
Mu Haiyang’s expression was not pleasant, and his voice was calm.
"His dizziness was caused by a momentary interruption of blood flow, but he’s okay now. The doctor said he needs to rest well and must not exhaust himself."
Mu Tiantian nodded, considering the recent issues with the Mu Family. Her grandfather Mu Qinghan, as the head of the family, was certainly deeply concerned.
Especially after Mu Haiyun’s scandal from the photo leak to the suicide attempt, any of these events would be enough to strain an old man’s heart.
"I’ll go in and take a look!"
Mu Haiyang held Mu Tiantian back and shook his head.
"Don’t go in yet. Old Madam Mu is inside, and she’s like a mad dog right now, snapping at anyone randomly!"
Mu Tiantian: "..."
Bai Chenyao looked at Mu Haiyang, his voice deep.
"Why?"
Mu Haiyang glanced over Mu Tiantian and opened his mouth but didn’t say anything before Mu Yi, looking exhausted with bloodshot eyes, came out of the elevator.
"Tiantian, Haiyang, Chen Yao, you’re here!"
Mu Tiantian and the others nodded, and Mu Haiyang quickly spoke.
"Old Madam Mu is inside right now. I suggest Tiantian and Chen Yao wait a bit before going in. Going in now would only lead to unwarranted accusations and curses."
Mu Yi was startled and looked at Mu Tiantian with a very complex expression.
It seemed filled with endless guilt, as if holding back something, with teary eyes. He wanted to lightly hug her but gave up the idea upon seeing Bai Chenyao holding his daughter’s hand.
Bai Chenyao was extremely possessive, something Mu Yi had known early on.
Even though Tiantian was his daughter.
In Bai Chenyao’s eyes, he was an unfit father, and Mu Yi himself knew he was inadequate.
Forcing a smile, Mu Yi nodded.
"It’s for the better, but Tiantian and Chen Yao don’t worry too much. Your grandfather just fainted due to a momentary surge of blood. He’ll be fine with some rest."
