Zi Xi raised a delicate hand, offering him a Jade Scroll.

Inside the Jade Scroll were the terms of the trade proposed by her master.

Li Chang’an took the Jade Scroll and examined it carefully.

’Celestial Net Gold... Thunder Stone... These are all Tier Four Treasures. The price is indeed a bit steep.’

The message from Zi Xia True Monarch was clear: if Li Chang’an could produce either of those items, she would trade the Spirit Cloud Fruit for it.

Unfortunately, nearly all Tier Four Treasures were in the hands of the Nascent Soul True Monarchs from the major factions.

She also informed him that a large number of Treasures unique to the Ancient Times had appeared in the Ancient Ruins Secret Realm.

If Li Chang’an was in a hurry, he could try his luck there.

He shook his head slightly and returned to his cave abode.

Deep within the cave abode,

Song Yu’er sat cross-legged with her eyes closed, circulating her Cultivation Technique with a look of intense concentration on her little face.

She had already completed the process of Meridian Opening and Qi Introduction, officially becoming a Cultivator at the Qi Refining First Layer.

However,

the advantages of her Spirit Body had not yet manifested.

For now, she was cultivating purely by relying on her Low Grade Spirit Root.

"Yu’er, come here,"

Li Chang’an instructed.

Song Yu’er immediately stood up and scurried over to Li Chang’an, her little hands tightly clutching the hem of her clothes. She was clearly nervous.

"Senior, I haven’t made any mistakes in my cultivation, have I?"

"You haven’t. I called you over for another matter."

Li Chang’an offered a gentle smile, his expression kind.

He asked patiently, "Yu’er, after you completed Qi Introduction, did you feel anything... special?"

"Special?"

Song Yu’er scratched her head, thinking hard.

After a moment,

she shook her little head and said, "Senior, I just feel like I’ve gotten stronger. I don’t feel anything else."

"Have you gained any special powers?"

"No, I haven’t."

Song Yu’er answered "no" to a series of questions.

She grew increasingly nervous and didn’t dare to look up, asking timidly,

"Senior, have I disappointed you?"

"Don’t worry. The time just isn’t right yet."

Li Chang’an replied with a smile, his entire demeanor gentle and reassuring.

According to the ancient texts,

Cultivators with an Innate Spiritual Body don’t necessarily discover it at birth.

Some discover it gradually on their cultivation journey.

Others awaken their Spirit Body after experiencing some sort of shock or unexpected event.

Li Chang’an reached out and placed his hand on the crown of her head. "Yu’er, brace yourself. This might be a little uncomfortable."

"Go ahead, Senior. I can handle it. I’m very tough."

Song Yu’er gritted her teeth and squeezed her eyes shut.

In the next instant,

Li Chang’an used the Divine Splitting Technique, separating out fine wisps of his Divine Sense.

Hundreds, even thousands, of wisps of Divine Sense entered Song Yu’er’s Sea of Consciousness in unison, probing its depths until they found a hazy, silver-white symbol.

Perhaps because her Spirit Body had yet to awaken, this symbol was even fainter than those of Mu Xiaoxiao and Ye Mengxian.

Li Chang’an was extremely cautious.

He carefully maneuvered his Divine Sense forward, letting the wisps slowly merge around the silver-white symbol. They formed a spherical cage of Divine Sense that gradually began to contract.

After more than ten breaths,

his cage of Divine Sense had shrunk to its limit and finally touched the symbol.

BUZZ—

The symbol suddenly trembled, erupting in a brilliant silver-white light.

Based on Li Chang’an’s experience with the other two symbols, this one should have forcibly broken through his cage of Divine Sense.

However, something unexpected happened.

In the blink of an eye,

the symbol vanished into thin air.

It didn’t try to break the cage of Divine Sense. Instead, it instantly reappeared in another part of Song Yu’er’s Sea of Consciousness.

’Teleportation?’

Li Chang’an was inwardly astonished.

In that brief moment of contact, a flood of complex insights had appeared in his mind.

These insights were all related to a strange and wondrous power.

Void Power!

He closed his eyes, carefully savoring the experience and doing his best to digest the insights he had just received.

Unfortunately, he had rarely encountered this type of power before. Though the insights flooded his mind, he didn’t know where to begin with most of them and only managed to absorb a tiny fraction.

Still,

even this small fraction was of immense benefit to him.

To his delight, Li Chang’an discovered that he could now understand a small portion of the complex Spirit Patterns on the Realm-Sundering Talisman!

’These Spirit Patterns must be related to Void Power. Otherwise, they couldn’t allow someone to tear through the void and escape,’

he thought to himself.

’If I can decipher all the Spirit Patterns, perhaps I can replicate the Realm-Sundering Talisman.’

Of course,

the Realm-Sundering Talisman was of an exceedingly high Tier.

With his current Magical Power, he most likely wouldn’t be able to sustain the process of creating a complete one.

’I don’t need a complete Realm-Sundering Talisman. Even a Low Tier version that allows for short-distance teleportation would be great.’

Even short-distance teleportation would give Li Chang’an another life-saving option.

A moment later,

he opened his eyes, having fully processed what he could of the insights.

He then directed wisps of the Power of his Divine Sense to slowly approach the symbol that had escaped, attempting to touch it once more.

But the symbol quivered lightly, as if sensing his intent. It instantly vanished and reappeared elsewhere, giving him no opportunity to touch it at all.

After several failed attempts,

Li Chang’an had no choice but to give up for now.

He recalled the many ancient texts he had read and quickly found a type of Spirit Body that matched the characteristics of Void Power.

’The Void Spirit Body!’

This type of constitution

had appeared very few times in the history of the Cultivation Immortality Realm.

By now, Li Chang’an could be considered exceptionally well-read, with a vast breadth of knowledge, but even he knew little about this particular Spirit Body.
