Eternal Log

Episode XVII Turning Point

A month after that.

I teach Shirley magic.

Shirley swallowed quickly and mastered unchanging.

Much faster than Roy.

Or because I've been understanding magic principles lately, the best factor would be a good explanation.

When I was Roy, I knew that the image was important, but I didn't know how to describe it, and I don't think it was an abstract, well-understood explanation such as "Magic Gu Feels Stuffed and Striked" or "So, Imagine Magic Putting It Sadly Together In Your Head".

I think Roy understands that well.

Thinking about it, I did something bad to Roy.

But I have no choice.

By the way, Roy also met Shirley because of course he continues to train.

Something. Roy and Shirley seem to know each other.

The first time the two of them looked at each other, Roy was rarely in a panic.

"Ah, Low..."

Roy took away the moment Shirley tried to tell me his name if he knew Roy.

I was distracted and couldn't move.

That was awesome speed and Roy took Shirley away.

I was stunned for a while, but gradually I got anxious and twitched.

I wandered to circle on the spot by myself until they came back.

Probably looked like a sleepwalker without a facial expression.

We came back after we talked a little bit, but what the hell was that?

Is that Roy's ex-girlfriend?

No, no...

I didn't get into training that day.

But it doesn't look like that as long as I'm watching (watching) the two of you.

An old acquaintance or something.

When I asked Roy,

"Well, of course. But don't worry, it's not what Hal thinks it is."

I was told.

But how can he read people's minds?

Have you developed any new magic?

It needs to be checked soon.

That's how things are going when it comes to Shirley's training.

Roy's not here today, and Shirley and I are together.

Now I'm on break and I'm eating lunch that Shirley brought me.

They're teaching me magic. They say it's a thank you.

Instead, I want to thank you enough for feeding me a handmade lunch.

I'm happiest this time of year.

But I asked my parents if they wouldn't worry.

"My parents are (...) relentless. And... a lot of things are fine."

That is.

Well, if Shirley says it's okay, I guess it's okay.

It was time for me to finish my break and try to resume my training and the sky glowed.

"Yikes!

Shirley stuck by surprise.

... My chest is hit.

"Oh, sorry"

Shirley rushes away from me.

I sincerely thought it would be okay if I stayed inside.

"Are you okay? Is that thunder?

Although I said that, the sky was clear one cloud at a time without any sign that it was going to rain.

In the meantime, I resumed my training, but after a while something strange happened.

"Mr. Hal! Smoke!"

Smoke is rising from the village when you see it.

"From the village! Let's go!

There is some nasty chest noise.

Me and Shirley ran out towards the village.
