Episode 173: Events in Pope Lars, Part 36

"That's a lot!

With Allie's hanging, we leave Pope Lars.

For some reason, Allie says it's supposed to be an escort, but I feel like an excursion.

... Danger. Danger.

We need to keep our heads tight.

I woke up early this morning without anyone sleeping.

"Today," or "today," because I didn't fall asleep last time, you're right.

Now the sun hasn't even risen and it's dim.

But when Lulu and I say we leave in the morning, we have to go faster than that.

Besides, I can't go grand, so I can't take a carriage and I have to get out of here fast.

Because if you stop the carriage and put it down when you get to Spiritual Peak Folkrest, you'll find out.

Well, you can find out, but you shouldn't be weirdly suspicious or obstructed by rituals.

That's why we decided to walk.

It's not as far away as walking, but about an hour's walk.

"Well, what's coming out today?

"What do you think? Is Golzola coming out, or is it a big deal?"

"Huh, whatever comes, you can take it down. That's all."

Sure, Will's right, but there are a lot of guys here these days who aren't easy enough enemies to defeat, and besides, when it comes to fighting, it's going to be a battle not just about themselves, but about protecting them, and I can't get out of my mind.

"With that said, Lulu's going to the temple today by herself from the foot of Folkrest, right? Is anyone after Lulu's life in an ambush?

"Hmm? Yeah, I guess so. If that's the case, we could have knocked him out first, but obviously, if he wasn't the suspicious one, he could have been a covert witch's escort."

Sure, Ali's right. There's a possibility of an ambush, and Roy's right. There's no chance of a sneak escort.

"I don't know what to say. Let's go and check the area first."

Will enters the conversation between the two of us.

Will's right.

I just have to go ahead and find out more than I know.

Nevertheless, Will has become more reliable since one incident with Karzal.

I think my shadow has faded...

"So is that. Hurry up."

Roy also agreed with Will's words.

I thought Roy read my mind for a moment and told me my shadow had faded, but I didn't.

We headed to Forrest a little early.
