Yun Sheng sank her consciousness deep into her spiritual landscape.

There, two forces lay dormant in silence.

The power belonging to Bai Ye circled her tamely. As if sensing her emotions, it gently nuzzled her spiritual power.

But the Dark Power belonging to Si Jin was unusually still, like a pool of stagnant water.

Yun Sheng’s heart sank.

She slowly extended her spiritual power, gently trying to connect with the force that belonged to Si Jin.

Her spiritual power brushed against it, but there was no response.

’Why?’

’Is it because Si Jin’s loss of control is too severe? Has his spiritual landscape closed itself off?’

Yun Sheng didn’t dare to think further.

Gritting her teeth, she tried again and again, and failed every time.

Her spiritual landscape ached faintly from the excessive exertion, and a fine sheen of cold sweat beaded on her temples, but she refused to give up.

’Si Jin...’

’Si Jin...’

Yun Sheng repeated Si Jin’s name over and over in her heart. After a few times, deep within her spiritual landscape, the dormant Dark Power suddenly trembled slightly.

She immediately followed that faint tremor, concentrating all of her spiritual power toward it.

In that instant, a familiar sense of weightlessness washed over her. Her consciousness felt as if it had been violently dragged into an abyss by an invisible hand.

She had entered his dream!

A stretch of grayish-white nothingness unfolded before her eyes.

Yun Sheng stood in that familiar dreamscape.

She looked around anxiously and soon spotted a figure not far ahead, his back turned to her.

The figure was wreathed in chaotic Dark Power, and black markings flickered in and out of existence on his skin.

His shoulders heaved violently, as if he were desperately trying to suppress something.

Yun Sheng’s heart lurched violently.

"Si Jin..."

she called out softly, starting to walk toward him.

The figure shuddered but did not turn around.

Yun Sheng instinctively quickened her pace.

The moment she drew near Si Jin, the Dark Power around him suddenly surged.

A powerful pressure slammed into her, bringing with it a suffocating sense of oppression.

Yun Sheng couldn’t help but tremble, stumbling half a step.

This power was too strong—strong enough to completely crush the spiritual landscape of a low-Level guide like her.

But she didn’t retreat.

Gritting her teeth, she pushed against the pressure, step by difficult step, drawing closer to Si Jin.

The Dark Power seethed and roared around her, yet it never actually touched her.

It was as if it were being held back by some invisible barrier, or as if it were desperately restraining itself.

Yun Sheng quickened her pace, practically lunging the last few steps.

Then, from behind, she threw her arms around Si Jin and held him tight.

’The moment I saw him in the real world, this is what I wanted to do!’

’There were so many people there at the time, I couldn’t be rash. But it’s different now. This is a dreamscape, and it’s just the two of us here.’

The instant she embraced him, Si Jin’s body went completely rigid.

The surging Dark Power seemed to freeze as if someone had pressed pause, hanging motionless in mid-air.

Yun Sheng buried her face in his back, her arms wrapped so tightly she could feel the faint tremors running through his body.

"Si Jin..."

Her voice was muffled, thick with long-suppressed emotions.

He didn’t respond.

The Dark Power began to stir again, but it still didn’t attack her.

Sensing no resistance from him, Yun Sheng slowly released her hold and moved around to face him.

When she saw his face clearly, her breath hitched.

The black markings were even more numerous than when she had seen him before, covering his entire face and neck. His crimson eyes roiled with frenzied killing intent and a desire for destruction, as if he could devour someone whole at any moment.

The way Si Jin looked now was terrifying.

But Yun Sheng wasn’t afraid.

She slowly reached out and gently placed her palm against his cheek, which was covered in black markings.

His cheek was scorching hot.

Frighteningly hot.

The moment Yun Sheng’s palm touched Si Jin’s skin, she clearly felt that terrifying killing intent.

It was like a ferocious beast whose reverse scale had been touched, instinctively wanting to tear apart any living thing that came near.

But he didn’t make a move.

To Yun Sheng, that was the best possible sign!

She moved closer to him again, until there was almost no distance between them.

Yun Sheng reached out, gently wrapping her arms around Si Jin’s waist and pressing her cheek against his chest.

His heart was beating fast, so fast it felt like it would burst from his chest.

"Si Jin," her voice was muffled against his chest, carrying a hint of a sob she hadn’t even noticed herself. "Do you have any idea how worried I’ve been about you all this time?"

His body trembled slightly.

"I’ve been studying with your videos, hoping I could become stronger—strong enough to go find you. I wanted to go to the abandoned mine pit to find you, but I’m so useless, I..."

Yun Sheng couldn’t go on.

All the worry, anxiety, and fear of losing him caught in her throat, turning into a silent tremble.

She just held him tighter, as if afraid he would disappear the very next second.

But she couldn’t hold him for too long.

This dream entry was too rushed. Reinforcements would arrive soon, and she could be woken up at any moment.

Once she woke up, there was no telling when she’d be able to enter his dream again.

She had to hurry!

Yun Sheng took a deep breath and gently let go.

She looked up at Si Jin’s face, covered in black markings. His crimson eyes still churned with madness and violence, showing no trace of conscious awareness.

Yun Sheng rose onto her tiptoes and, without the slightest hesitation, pressed her lips to his.

Si Jin’s lips were scorching, as if set ablaze. Just from the contact, the searing heat felt like it was burning its way into her heart.

She gently moved against his thin lips, feeling their heat, their chapped texture, and the slight tremor that her touch elicited.

His hands hung at his sides, his knuckles seeming to curl unconsciously.

Yun Sheng didn’t see it. She cupped his face, her thumbs gently stroking over the menacing black markings, and then slowly deepened the kiss.

Si Jin didn’t respond.

But he didn’t push her away.

The Dark Power continued to roar, yet it didn’t attack Yun Sheng. It was as if, despite having lost his sanity, his instincts still remembered her and wouldn’t do anything to hurt her.

Yun Sheng pulled back slightly, looking at him breathlessly.

But Si Jin’s crimson eyes still held no clarity, only madness and violence.

Deciding to go all out, she used her strength and pushed Si Jin straight to the ground.

He offered no resistance.

A mighty SSS-level Dark Sentinel, a being whose presence alone could shatter her spiritual landscape, had been pushed over so easily by her. He now lay on the floor of the void, gazing up at her with those crimson eyes.

Yun Sheng straddled him.

The position made her heart skip a beat.

It was too intimate, so intimate she could clearly feel every inch of his tense body.

Blushing, she leaned down, her hot lips landing on his temple. She traced a path downward along the menacing black markings, inch by inch.

She outlined every single black marking with her lips.

Si Jin’s body grew increasingly rigid, and the Dark Power surged even more violently. Yet, he remained motionless, letting her "bully" him as she pleased.

A sense of satisfaction she had never felt before suddenly washed over Yun Sheng.

This man, powerful enough to destroy everything, was offering no resistance, letting her do whatever she wanted.

She lowered her head and kissed his lips again.

"Si Jin, don’t worry. I will fix the cracks in your spiritual landscape. I will definitely bring you back to normal!"
