Extraordinary Genius

Chapter 1432: That's What I'm Saying

A lot of people on the internet recently criticized me for disturbing industry order, so what is industry order?

Industry order, I think should include technology market order, talent market order, business market order, investment development order and so on. I'm not an expert, I can't say the nomenclature for those professions, and I'm just going to talk about my point of view from a consumer perspective today.

As a consumer of IT products, I take the most intuitive computers as an example. I'm going to buy a computer, there are two ways to order online and go to the store to buy.

To use a computer, in addition to buying it, install the software I need to use.

So I planned to buy a computer for 6,000 RMB, and I saw a computer for 5,999, but when I did, it would cost more than that.

Because I'm going to install the software, basically, I'm going to install the system. There are two mainstream options, the XOS disc that Lenovo Silver Mountain and the Microsoft VISTA disc.

The former retail price is RMB 499 yuan, and in the case of preinstalled systems, the sale price should be RMB 199 yuan. And Microsoft? Retail prices are several times higher, even for pre-installed systems, and are close to $1,000.

This doesn't count as you're buying a desktop, you usually need a plug board, you need a cable, you need to install a network, and these related products, they're money again.

So what we actually spend on computers = computer cost + software price + store cost + accessories price + profit

What should the real cost of a computer be? How much is the profit? Who made the biggest profit?

Store rentals, agency profits, PC vendors' profits, software vendors' profits… there are too many people sharing money here.

And who has the highest profit margin? Microsoft.

Microsoft called R&D VISTA, invested tens of billions of dollars, but where did this tens of billions of dollars come from? Selling XP systems, they make enough money from XP systems to R&D VISTA and XP a dozen times!

Where Bill Gates' wealth comes from, it's all Microsoft. Where's my fortune? Profits from multiple investments, IT investments, are not the biggest of all my income.

I just invest in a lot of industries, and each brings a little bit of profit in the future, which, taken together, adds a lot to my income.

In other words, as consumers, we all want to buy what we want at a lower price. But as a producer and seller, you want a profit that's high enough.

How to balance the two, I think it would be best to operate with the concept of a supermarket. Simply put, it's thin and oversold.

I want to build a thin, over-the-counter computer industry, whether hardware or software, where the manufacturer must be profitable, but the margin on a single product should not be that high.

Now I've invested in hardware accessories, software, PC manufacturers, to give consumers a fair price.

And the result? I touched the interests of those manufacturers who united, attacked me, insulted me, said I was breaking industry order?

Maintain high profits, even if the product can't be sold, it won't be sold at a reduced price, is that their order?

Define computers as high-end electronics, not ordinary appliances, and that's their order?

Is it against the order that someone reduces the price and gives the interest to the consumer?

If these are what they call the industry order, then I would say that none of the companies I invest in will follow these "order”!

They put order in chains, trying to lock up other businesses, lock up profits, let consumers follow them, and keep consumers in the dark.

I will break this shackle, break the order and re-establish a new and rational order!

A lot of people used to take Bill? As an example, Gates dropped out of school, building a huge Microsoft Empire, but without Paul? Alan, with Bill? Gates, how can you succeed?

And a lot of people may not know that, Bill? Gates' mother, who was a close friend of IBM's chairman and CEO, worked together as an executive of an intercontinental bank.

That's why, Bill? Gates' original software, why it could be sold to IBM, and why Microsoft's DOS could be promoted by IBM and become the industry standard with the help of IBM.

School attendance is not in itself in conflict with doing business. I finished my studies, so today I can surpass Bill in wealth? Gates.

Those who have dropped out of school as a golden rule and believe that the world does not wait for people are blinded by this story. I don't deny it. Bill? Gates is brilliant, but don't forget, Paul, who started his own business with him? Alan and Steve? Ballmer, without their dedication, without Bill's mother's help, there wouldn't be Microsoft today.

What I'm saying is, Bill? Gates is not a good role model, and our young people, don't study unless your mother, too, has an unparalleled background.

Besides, Intel has always labeled its products the best in the world, but in the presence of hundreds of media around the world, their products have failed to reach Superpower Semiconductor.

We should be aware that the greater the production, the lower the cost of most manufactured products. However, Intel's output is clearly higher than that of Ultraviolet, and the performance is the same as that of Ultraviolet, even less than that of Ultraviolet, but at much higher prices.

In relative terms, Intel's profits are much higher.

Ultraviolet's selling price at this time guarantees normal profits, so Intel should have higher profits at the same price. If not, then there are only two possibilities.

One, Intel lied. The second, intelligent technology, is less powerful. I'm also curious as to which one.

If Intel is lying, then their profits are profitable. If Intel is not lying, then it is their technological research and development that is certainly not as good as the Superpower semiconductor.

Here I would like to ask the representative of Intel, which of my assumptions is correct? Or is there a third possibility, both?

And PC manufacturers, they keep attacking Lenovo Group, why, because their products are far less affordable than Lenovo models. Their 10,000 dollar laptop is worse than even 8,000 dollars.

Instead of lowering their selling prices, they asked Lenovo Group to increase them. To be honest, Lenovo Group's sales prices have increased, and while sales may decrease, single product profits have increased dramatically, Lenovo Group may make more money.

But we didn't choose that, we chose to make computers available to more consumers at a reasonable price, and we wanted to make computers a regular household product, not so-called high-end electronics.

These are the words I want to say today, the conscience of an entrepreneur of conscience!
