The bright lights seemed to have stimulated the humanoid creatures within the nutrient chambers, transitioning from a sleep-like status to continuous trembling.

A few humanoid creatures first opened their eyes, their gaze distinctly not that of ordinary humans, wooden and dull.

As they awoke, the tubes linked to their bodies fell off one by one.

In less than a minute, hundreds of creatures within the nutrient chambers woke up, and the nutrient liquid inside rapidly drained.

With the disappearance of the nutrient liquid, the glass chamber doors slowly opened, and the humanoid creatures stepped out.

They looked at Zhang Beixing, the intruder, and let out a roar.

Zhang Beixing directly swung a palm, smacking the largest-roaring monster among them, a creature with a human face but covered in long hair, neither beast nor bird-like.

The suddenly swung palm, across a distance of ten meters, landed directly on the monster.

The monster’s piercing roar abruptly halted, the long hair on its body bulged momentarily from Zhang Beixing’s palm, and brown blood spurted out instantly, leading to its demise.

Zhang Beixing shook his head, unsure whether this monster was a defective product or a semi-finished one, but its strength was vastly different compared to Jimmy outside.

Jimmy is particularly resilient, while these monsters are exceptionally fragile.

Just as Zhang Beixing planned to eliminate these fragile creatures one by one, the metal door he had just kicked open suddenly made a sound.

It sounded like something outside was crazily pounding it, and with the clangs, the metal door started to visibly cave in.

One of the dents was even in the shape of a human face; no ordinary person would crazily slap their face against a metal door, plus they couldn’t possibly make such a clear shape.

Zhang Beixing recognized it as the shape Jimmy becomes when he transforms into a monster.

The metal door couldn’t withstand Jimmy’s bombardment any longer and finally revealed a human-sized gap.

Jimmy’s twisted figure dashed in, landing steadily on deformed limbs.

Seeing Jimmy’s frenzied appearance, Zhang Beixing thought maybe the be organization sent him to intercept him. He was still hesitating whether to kill him.

Jimmy let out a roar at the humanoid creatures that had just stepped out of the nutrient chambers.

The humanoid creatures had seen their companion instantly die, and their expressions were equally wooden.

But Jimmy’s roar made them somewhat cower. While they couldn’t show terror on their faces, their bodies were trembling.

Then Jimmy charged at them like a wolf into a flock of sheep.

Amid the humanoid creatures, he began crazily tearing them apart, colors of blood flew in chaos — none of it was Jimmy’s.

Since Jimmy’s roar, these humanoid creatures mostly stood still, not moving an inch, like wooden mannequins awaiting Jimmy’s attack.

Watching Jimmy’s figure continuously leap among the army of humanoid creatures, Zhang Beixing found himself puzzled.

What’s happening?

Why did his nature suddenly change?

Within minutes, the hundreds of humanoid creatures were almost entirely annihilated, the lab floor covered in colors of blood mixed into weird hues, along with shredded flesh and severed limbs.

Covered in blood, Jimmy turned his head after the carnage, eying Zhang Beixing with crimson eyes.

Then he nodded his head.

Zhang Beixing saw Jimmy nod at him, seemingly signaling to follow him.

Zhang Beixing nodded in return.

Getting Zhang Beixing’s approval, Jimmy shook his body quickly to fling off the blood slashes and charged heavily at the second metallic door of the underground base.

The metallic door didn’t shatter, but a gigantic dent appeared.

In Jimmy’s near-mad biting, the metal door couldn’t resist long and presented a large hole.

Jimmy dashed through first, with Zhang Beixing’s figure swiftly following.

They appeared one after the other in the underground base’s third-layer corridor.

The third layer, under bright and soft lights, had rooms made of chief glass spread throughout the white corridor.

Inside were some experimental equipment, further in, scattered single doors showed signs of beds and living supplies.

It seemed like this was where the researchers lived and worked daily.

Jimmy entered without pause, heading straight inward.

Zhang Beixing followed behind Jimmy, noticing from now till present, there wasn’t a shadow of anyone.

Moreover, the underground base was much larger than Zhang Beixing anticipated; the two weaved left and right for a long while before Jimmy finally stopped before a room.

Zhang Beixing assessed the door, notably wider and heavier than other rooms passed, visibly different.

Though unclear what lay behind, its distinction indicated its contents were crucial to the be organization.

Jimmy didn’t hesitate, his old self ramming the exceptionally thick metallic door, but the door’s sturdiness far surpassed previous metal doors.

Jimmy’s body hit heavily, leaving only a shallow pit.

Jimmy, seeing this, his eyes shone more intensely red, seeming anxious, releasing low growls.

Then he continued beating and biting the metal door crazily but to little effect, leaving only deep marks.

Breaking through seemed a distance away.

While Jimmy was crazily biting the metal door with little effect, he suddenly sensed behind him a tremendously terrifying aura gathering.

He abruptly halted his actions, instinctively jumping aside, wary of that direction.

There was only Zhang Beixing, standing silently, seemingly nothing else.

Yet, in Jimmy’s perception, the energy concentrating in that area was chillingly eerie.

Then Zhang Beixing’s body slightly swayed, but a shadow charged directly at the metallic door.

Zhang Beixing punched the door, like a hard stone striking glass, the originally immensely solid metal door unexpectedly shattered.

This was a move Zhang Beixing realized while training on Alba Manor’s mountain but hadn’t found an adequately strong opponent or object to test with.

A martial artist’s strength, after all, came from maxing out body maneuvers at one point, then bursting forth.

Zhang Beixing’s control at this level, he could perfectly amass his breath into one strike, the resulting power immense.

Like now, despite the meticulously tough metal door, upon such a punch, it collapses.

Jimmy’s crimson eyes froze a moment, dumbly watching the door’s crash.

His gaze at Zhang Beixing emotionally charged with added fear.

However, quickly recalling, he darted first into the room.

This base’s seals were top-notch, Zhang Beixing’s punch shattered the metal door without raising clouds of dust.

Only floating metallic fragments scattered.

With dust settled, Zhang Beixing also stepped slowly into the room.

The chamber’s decoration matched the corridor’s, white, and looked spacious, not storing precious goods.

Jimmy, who entered first, was now detained on the ground by a ring of blue beams, occasional flashes indicating electricity.

Jimmy tried escaping but hit blue beams producing intense electric bursts, bouncing him back.

Bounced back by the electric burst, Jimmy’s toughness couldn’t avoid pausing a while on the ground.

As Zhang Beixing pondered, the room’s white walls suddenly transformed.

Turning into transparent glass, revealing a seated man within.
