On the open ground ahead, a group of people in black were performing some kind of bizarre ritual.

They stood in a circle, with a huge brazier placed in the middle, flames roaring and blazing, lighting up the night sky.

Those people in black were muttering under their breath, as if chanting some Spell.

Their voices were low and hoarse, as though coming from the depths of Hell.

The air was filled with a disturbing atmosphere that made one’s hair stand on end.

Alina narrowed her eyes, carefully sizing up this group of Black-clothed Men.

With her sharp senses she detected an evil aura radiating from them, completely different from that of ordinary people.

She realized this was likely some evil faction conducting a dark ritual.

As a righteous and noble Vampire, Alina naturally couldn’t just sit back and watch.

She decided to step in and stop this evil ritual, and take the opportunity to show off her own strength.

That way, it would also count as doing a great favor for Zhang Beixing and prove her own value.

Thinking of this, a confident smile curled at the corner of Alina’s lips.

She moved silently closer to that group of Black-clothed Men, ready to give them a surprise blow.

She believed that with her own Power, dealing with these evil scum would be as easy as turning over her hand.

However, just as Alina was about to make her move, a low voice suddenly sounded behind her: "You think you alone can challenge our ritual? How overconfident."

Alina snapped her head around, only to see a tall Black-clothed Man standing behind her, an evil smile on his face.

A powerful dark aura coiled around him, clearly his Cultivation was anything but ordinary.

Alina’s heart tightened; she realized she might have run into a troublesome opponent.

The Black-clothed Man looked at Alina and let out a cold laugh: "So it’s a Vampire. No wonder you dare to disturb our ritual."

"But even a Vampire is nothing more than an ant before us Black Mages!"

"Today, I’ll let you witness our Power!"

With that, the Black-clothed Man suddenly raised his hand, and a black beam of light shot straight toward Alina.

That beam contained terrifying Magic Power, radiating an evil aura that made it hard to breathe.

Alina hurriedly twisted her body to dodge, but the beam still grazed her arm, and a sharp pain surged through her at once.

Alina clenched her teeth, forcibly enduring the pain.

She hadn’t expected this Black-clothed Man’s strength to be so great that he could actually injure her.

It seemed this battle was not going to be so easy.

The surrounding Black-clothed Men, seeing this, all halted the ritual and shifted their focus to Alina.

A vicious light flickered in their eyes; they looked eager to move, itching to show their skills.

Alina swept her gaze around and found that she was already surrounded by the Black-clothed Men.

"Hmph, just a mere Vampire, and you dare to provoke us?"

"Today we’ll let you taste how formidable us Black Mages are!"

"Grab her and offer her as a sacrifice to our Demon Lord!"

The Black-clothed Men shouted and launched their assault on Alina.

Black magic beams shot at her from all directions, sealing Alina in from every side.

Alina dodged nimbly while not forgetting to counterattack.

With a sweep of both hands, a surge of immense Vampire Power exploded out in an instant.

Crimson blood-light blossomed in the night sky, like a burst of gorgeous fireworks.

Wherever that blood-light passed, the Black-clothed Men fell to the ground screaming, clearly heavily wounded.

"Impossible! How can a Vampire’s Power be this strong?"

"Who on earth is this woman? Quickly, summon the Demon Lord’s avatar!"

The Black-clothed Men shouted in terror, clearly never having expected Alina’s strength to be this horrifying.

They retreated in panic, trying to open up distance from Alina.

A few of the Black-clothed Men even started chanting complex Spells, apparently trying to summon some powerful existence.

Alina let out a cold snort; there was no way she would let them succeed.

Her figure blurred, and in an instant she appeared in front of those few Black-clothed Men chanting Spells.

Before they could even react, Alina’s hands moved like lightning, snapping their necks one by one.

"Ah!!!"

Their shrill screams split the night sky, and the Black-clothed Men instantly fell into chaos.

They had never imagined Alina’s Speed could reach such a level.

How could the likes of them, mere Black Mages, possibly stand against that!

The Black-clothed Men fled in panic, trying to escape from this terrifying Vampire.

However, there was no way Alina would let them get what they wanted.

She was like a streak of red lightning, weaving through the crowd of Black-clothed Men; wherever she passed, blood splattered and bodies fell.

In the blink of an eye, the Black-clothed Men who had been shouting about capturing Alina were now either dead or wounded.

The clearing was littered with bodies sprawled in every direction, blood flowing like a river, the scene too gruesome to look at.

Standing amidst the mountain of corpses and sea of blood, Alina’s face showed not the slightest panic or guilt.

In her eyes, these Black Mages were nothing but lowly ants, not worth stirring her emotions.

She casually wiped the blood from her face, a cold smile tugging at her lips.

This battle had allowed her to fully display her own strength and prove her value.

No doubt, once Zhang Beixing saw this scene, he would see her in a whole new light.

Feeling secretly pleased with herself, Alina decided to go back and brag to Zhang Beixing about her "battle record."

She believed that with her performance, Zhang Beixing would definitely treat her differently, maybe even gladly take her to China.

Just as Alina was about to leave, a weak voice suddenly sounded behind her: "Hahaha... you thought it was over just like that?"
