"Si Han, Master is not blaming you... it’s not your fault for not bringing people, come back and rest for a while..."

The Third Elder quickly walked to Lin Si Han’s side, gently burying the girl’s head in his majestic chest.

The eight female disciples also gathered around, soothing the sobbing girl with gentle words.

This group of beautiful female cultivators, all master and disciple, leaned on each other. Each wore an exquisite stocking they crafted themselves. This should have been a lively and graceful scene, yet a melancholy atmosphere quietly spread.

When they founded Bihua Pavilion, they were filled with confidence because each of them had poured countless efforts into this endeavor.

In order to sew a seam well, they even worked through the night for three consecutive days. Aside from tending flowers and plants, these female disciples of Bihua Peak had never done heavy work before. Their delicate hands were covered in cuts from the fine and sharp threads, yet they never complained, finding joy instead in their shared endeavor.

All the female disciples anticipated the joyful smiles of the female cultivators when Bihua Pavilion opened, as that would be the best praise for their efforts. Although they regarded the idea of surpassing Qianhua Pavilion as a joke, in their hearts, they all fantasized that one day Bihua Pavilion could flourish across the Five Continents.

But reality poured cold water on them, and it was the kind that chilled to the bone.

Ji Lingruo and Wangshu stood off to the side, both somewhat at a loss.

Opening a shop was not an easy task, and they too had been busy day in and day out, yet the results were contrary to their wishes. Thinking about how their grand plans to make money had fallen through, they couldn’t help but feel disheartened.

After a while, Si Han finally stopped crying and left the Third Elder’s embrace.

"Si Han, was the reason they didn’t come because they all went to Qianhua Pavilion to buy clothes?"

Lin Si Han nodded heavily, tears still in her eyes:

"Yes, Master, Qianhua Pavilion happened to hold a promotion today and attracted all the female cultivators. It’s just our bad luck for not checking in advance and choosing a bad day..."

Although the name of the Third Elder, Mr. Bihua, is impressive, the name of Mr. Qianhua is not small either. These female cultivators, compared to supporting the Third Elder, naturally cared more about their own vested interests.

Upon hearing this, the Third Elder’s eyes turned slightly, his brows furrowed:

"I’m afraid this has nothing to do with whether we checked in advance or not."

"Master means..."

Yutong, petite and spirited, is the Third Elder’s youngest and boldest disciple.

"It’s likely as expected." The Third Elder shook his head and sighed, "Qianhua Pavilion, being the best clothing store in the Five Continents, never worries about selling clothes and despises using promotions to attract customers. Yet, they held this event on the very day of our Bihua Pavilion’s opening, which cannot be explained by simple coincidence."

"Qianhua Pavilion is so wicked! Why are they doing this? Women’s clothes aren’t sold only by them!"

Zixun, the Third Elder’s eighth disciple, usually passionate and lively, is easily outraged by injustice.

"Yes, indeed! Qianhua Pavilion is so despicable!" a few disciples chimed in.

The Third Elder frowned. After all, this matter was still inconclusive. Her status was esteemed, and she couldn’t arbitrarily deepen any conflicts, so she advised:

"But nothing is absolute, perhaps it’s really just our bad luck."

Only then did the girls fall silent, sighing as they lamented the whims of fate.

Though the Third Elder advised against further accusations, in her heart, she recalled the stern and harsh Mr. Qianhua.

Few women could invoke the Third Elder’s disdain; even fewer beauties could. Mr. Qianhua, a mountain peak female cultivator famous on the Celestial Immortal List, topped the Third Elder’s private list of disdain. This was partly due to love turning to hate, and also because Mr. Qianhua was inherently an unlikable obsessive.

Indeed, the Third Elder founded Bihua Pavilion partly to challenge Qianhua Pavilion’s monopoly and to settle a personal grudge with Mr. Qianhua. Yet, she hadn’t expected her careful preparations to crumble so easily before that hateful woman, leaving her deeply frustrated.

The grudge stemmed from being rebuffed by Mr. Qianhua and calling her clothing designs ugly, a slight for which Mr. Qianhua bore a longstanding grudge, causing the shared efforts with her disciples to fall apart.

It wasn’t that Mr. Qianhua preceded Qianhua Pavilion; rather, every Pavilion Master of Qianhua Pavilion was called Mr. Qianhua. With hundreds of years of accumulated heritage and reputation, Qianhua Pavilion wasn’t something a fledgling shop could shake.

Realizing this, the Third Elder comforted everyone:

"Let’s leave it at that, it’s only the first day of opening, no need to be disheartened. I don’t believe Qianhua Pavilion can hold promotions every day; Bihua Pavilion will eventually attract customers. Bihua Residence’s reputation for selling wine also built up gradually, as the saying goes, the fragrance of wine?"

"Doesn’t fear the depth of the alley..."

The disciples replied weakly, the vast gap between reality and fantasy leaving them with little confidence.

The Third Elder considered reprimanding her disciples’ dejection, but couldn’t bring herself to do it, so she could only sigh softly:

"Let’s call it a day. We’ll continue opening tomorrow. Tomorrow Si Han can rest. Zixun will take Yutong around the Sect for more promotion."

Having reached this point, they could only temporarily close, avoiding further disappointment.

But just as the ladies were about to shut down for the day, a rustling sound of footsteps came from the foot of the mountain.

The Third Elder’s eyes immediately brightened, and she exclaimed:

"Wait! Put everything back in place, arrange it neatly! Many women are heading towards Bihua Pavilion; they must have been drawn by us!"
