Falling Mage and the Power of Divergence
Outside II, Lesson 5, The Power of the Thirteenth Apostle (top)
The Gulsberg family had a large mansion built to see, but it seemed to be building more. As if there are still more people.
When the Basils named themselves the Episcopal Church, the landlord immediately let me through. But it was only Basil who was allowed to see the landlord.
The rest of the squad captains were told to wait in the guest room, so they wait in the guest room.
Basil, who meets with the landlord, tells the servant to disarm him, so he deposits his sword with the servant and enters the room.
When Basil entered the reception room where the landlord was, there was a slightly fat man sitting in the late forties. The man gets up and greets Basil as he comes in.
"Nice to meet you, Thirteen Apostles. This is Kowl-Gullsberg, head of the Gulsberg family."
"At first, I am Basil-Ate, the thirteenth Apostle of the Episcopal Church. Despite this sudden visit, we appreciate your hospitality."
"No, Lord Basil, have a seat."
"Excuse me."
When Basil and Kowl get to their seats, a servant enters the room and serves tea. And when I made sure the servant was leaving, Kool started talking.
"By the way, Lord Basil, what can I do for you?
"Do you know Lord Kowl about the seizures taking place throughout the kingdom?
"For once. Is that it?"
Basil sees Kool's face, but Kool sees Basil without changing one complexion.
"I see why you're here."
"Is that a purpose?
"Yes, didn't you know?
"Yeah, about that."
"Really?"
Basil realizes for just a moment that Kool's face has been upset. It's clear that I won't break my mouth where I keep talking about it. So Basil changed the question.
"Nevertheless, your mansion is building more. Will there be more people?
"Yeah, well."
I start sweating on Kool's forehead.
"Whoa, excuse me, you're out of line. The killer's intent is to produce a large quantity of magicians."
"Well, that's again"
More and more sweat flows from Koul's face, but Basil pretends not to know. Because what we're going to talk about is just Basil's delusion.
"They use the dark realm to get to the dark realm facility.
"It's also...... yet why did you give it to me?
"That's easy. That whoever caught you was ordered to do it."
"Oh, that's not true! I didn't say my name!
Of course it's a lie. The killer doesn't know the name of the mastermind. But Kool, I was in a hurry, and I ran my mouth off. That I am the mastermind.
"Oh, my God, you did it."
"No, you said it yourself."
"And you know what? I know the truth. I want you to disappear here. Give strength to those who inherit the will of fire." Kneeling ""
When Koul takes out the knife he had hidden under his chair, he immediately pulls out the knife and exercises his magic on the basil sitting there.
"Invite." "Ice Wall" "
But at the next moment, before Basil, suddenly, an ice wall was formed to protect the Basil thing. "Ice Wall" is an ice attribute primary magic, a popular magic commonly used as defensive magic.
"No chanting!?
Koul is surprised that Basil used magic without chanting.
Koul, who was willing to poke his surprise and kill Basil, gave no weapons, nor time for chanting. That's why Basil couldn't have prevented Kowl's "Fire Slash" Knee.
Unless Basil can use unchanging chants.
"I can't chant without it. That's an abridged chant."
"What!? Such short chanting omissions..."
"Because even if it looks like this, it's the Thirteenth Apostle. And this is why I was chosen as the Thirteenth Apostle."
Chant omission, as its name suggests, is a technique that can be omitted, although not completely chanting.
When Basil was eighteen, chant omissions could already be used.
And when the omission of the chant was known to the Seven Wise Men, he was invited to be a member of the Thirteenth Apostle. Chant omission itself is something other magicians can do, but in the case of Basil, chant omission was more profound than others and hardly required chanting.
"Now, is it okay that you pleaded guilty? Come on out." Brewnak ""
Basil, what gets gripped in the hand is a spear made of ice.
Basil stares at Kowl when he holds the ice spear, Brewnak. There was definite anger in his eyes, and Koul understood that the man in front of him was truly the Thirteenth Apostle.
And it reminds me of two names: Basil.
"You, are you a quickmaker?
"You had a name like that."
Quickmaker, that's the name Basil was called before he became the Thirteenth Apostle.
A man who makes any weapon or protective gear, with chant omissions. Basil was called a quick maker because of that.
But when he became the Thirteenth Apostle, his name was no longer used, and therefore Koul was not known at first.
"Okay, I'll be there."
Basil pierced Kowl's left shoulder with Brewnak holding it in his right hand.
"Knock..."
The pierced kool hits the wall from his back, yet grips Brewnak hard through himself.
Basil heard in an angry voice against such a kool.
"Where are the hostages?
"You think I'll teach you?
"That too, ice witch." Icy Hua ""
"Guaaaaaah"
When Basil exercises his magic, the icy hues bloom one after the other from the tip of Brewnak, trying to swallow Kool's body with the icy hues.
"If I don't tell you, it's gonna be icy sooner or later.
Koul exercises his magic anew, staring at Basil.
"My God of Fire, now is the time to protect me, the soul of the God of Fire." Ogung ""
At the next moment, between Basil and Kowl, a giant of flames suddenly emerged enough to push through the roof of the mansion. And melt the ice hua that was about to freeze about Kool, and the Brewnak thing.
"Is this the 'ogun' inherent magic of the Guardian God of the Gulsberg family?"
"That's right... you're done"
Koul was certain of his victory, before the fireman 'Ogung'.
And the emergence of the "Ogung" also signaled the beginning of the battle between the greases waiting in the rooms and the servants of the Grusberg family.
