Falling Mage and the Power of Divergence

Episode 104: Basil's Stomach

Early the next morning, Seyya was on the veranda of the room. Yours is still asleep, so there's only one seiya on the veranda.

Seyya takes as much blue ore as a tennis ball out of her uniform pocket and pours magic into it.

Tuh-uh-uh-uh.

Along with that sound, magic is poured into the reading stone, which leads to someone in less than seconds.

"Is that Christina-Saya?

"Oh."

The Lord of the Voice is Basil-Ate, one of the thirteenth Apostles of the Episcopal Church. Seyya's blue ore was a special storytelling stone that could only be read to Basil.

"Sorry, I'm late. It's just halfway between you and Leiria. Almost there, just hold on till then."

I can see Basil saying it in a serious voice. But Seyya couldn't help but find that interesting.

"Ugh..."

"What's up? Is that so bad?

Saiya just laughing, but all Basil could hear was that Saiya was suffering in a big pinch. So shortly afterwards, I get a dumb reply to the words I'm told.

"Sorry, you can go home now."

"What?"

Basil surprised by Saiya's sudden words. There's no way, because Basil doesn't know that Seyya defeated Broad and rescued Mocha.

And I didn't expect that to happen, because I don't even think of fine dust.

"Mocha-Phoenix rescued. You're safe."

"Look, is that true?

I was told a slightly incredible fact and am amazed Basil. I had no idea that Saiya would not only see how things were going, but also rescue Basil as they were.

"Oh, I'm back in the city now. I'll be home as soon as I get some rest, so please make sure you don't have any hassle on your way home."

"Oh, oh."

Still unbelievable, Basil feels somewhere out of his mind. But as soon as I switch, I feel my stomach ache at the same time.

Basil had asked the Episcopal Church for reinforcements in order to rescue Mocha, but that was no longer necessary. That's supposed to be a good thing, but now the basil ments are crushed.

In addition to that, in the students of the School of Magic who rescued them, the Episcopal Church mentes are also rounded up.

"And Serena and Aisi are back in Leiria first, so it would help if they could collect it. Isi's dead once, so think about it."

"Huh?"

Basil feels his stomach ache again when Saiya tells him to snatch shocking facts.

I'm also surprised that he died and brought it back to life once, but more than that, I'm surprised that he used 'Phoenix'.

"Phoenix's" is restricted in use from its powerful powers and is not an easy magic to use. As a matter of fact, every time I use it, I have to write a final statement.

And naturally, given this situation, it is Basil who writes the final statement.

The final book of the Episcopal Church was known to be very troublesome and the Thirteenth Apostle was enough to scream.

That's two kinds so far, with regard to the rescue of the Seyyas and with regard to 'Phoenix'. You want to cry just one kind, but you do that twice.

"Don't you have any more? I already have my stomach..."

"Oh, and there was Zadman, head of the Arsenian School of Magic, on the enemy's side, so check Leonardo out for once."

"Gu Hu..."

Basil threw up blood.

The School of Magic is one of the tightly controlled institutions and, of course, tough on employment. From carefully researched information, select a magician to hire as a teacher.

Even general teachers say it's a tough selection, but the fact that the head teacher is a Dacrean person is a pretty big problem.

This is a major problem, including the Church of Aquaristan and the entire Kingdom of Leiria. Fortunately, the general public doesn't know about Dacrea, so it won't matter, but the Episcopal Church will probably panic.

Even if we look for yet another spy, churches everywhere are unaware of Dacrea's existence, making searching difficult.

And on this issue, we naturally need a final statement. It's basil to write, of course.

(There's another final note...)

It's definitely a serious case, but for that matter, it's hard to explain.

Basil then returns to Leiria, comforted by his men, but there was no reason for Seyya to know that.

"Well, let's go home to Leiria today."

Sayya said so, but she had a new day to celebrate.
