Falling Mage and the Power of Divergence

Chapter 117 The Episcopal Church

The central kingdom in the heart of the Kingdom of Leiria, and the city in the heart of the central kingdom, is the capital Rheinz. Furthermore at the heart of the capital Rheinz, or the Kingdom of Leiria, is the Episcopal Church that governs this country.

And now Seyya and Melena were at that ecclesiastical reception.

"You're the use of the special magician, Master Riger-Arunya. Please wait a moment. I'll be in touch upstairs soon."

"Please"

It is the reception on the ground floor of the Episcopal Church that has Seyya and Melena. The long counter on the side has a total of ten receptionists who cater for visitors to the Episcopal Church.

Seiya left the reception to Melena by way of example, and she looked around as she sat in a nearby chair.

The Episcopal Church is a large five-story building, which, although lower than the Inn where Seyya stayed in Daklia II, is, for that matter, large on the side, as if it were a reception for a large university hospital.

At such a reception, Seiya alerts herself while waiting for Melena.

Seyya, who has heretical powers, is wary that maybe there are people around who are aware of the power of the dark attributes, but there are not many magicians around who seem strong, and there are only non-magicians who are coming to ask for work.

When Seyya realizes about it, she eases her guard and waits for Melena.

After about five minutes, Melena came back to Seyya. Behind Melena is a young woman arriving, apparently an Episcopal Church official. And they're going to show us to the top floor where the Seven Wise Men are.

It's over.

"Right."

When Seyya answers that, an ecclesiastical official who was behind Melena greets her.

"Welcome to the Episcopal Church. My name is D'Arta and I will show you both around this time. Go ahead and get to know him."

"Oh, this way, please"

The woman named D'Arta has chestnut hair and knows where she is. It seems to be the same age as Seiya, but the vibe that she gathered made her look young, and I didn't think Seiya would rely on her.

Meanwhile, Melena apparently has an acquaintance with D'Arta, who speaks affectionately and whose appearance looks like a close sister.

"Then I'll take you to the restroom first. Looks like we're having an important meeting upstairs right now, so I was hoping you'd wait a minute."

"Okay."

Copy that.

The place where they were taken is a spacious private room upstairs up the stairs. There's a lot of furniture in there that looks expensive, and it's so luxurious that I don't think it's a holding room.

Saiya and Melena sit back on the couch when Dalta tells them to go inside the room. The moment I sat down, Dalta brewed me some tea and brought it to me as Seiya was touched by the couch that seemed to gently envelop me.

But she also holds something besides tea in her hand, which, no matter how she looks, doesn't look like a tea treat. D'Arta hastily tells Seyya, who instinctively shows an absenteeism and is alert.

"Don't be such a killer! I'm scared!"

"Bad"

Seiya honestly apologizes for letting go of her killing temper for Dalta. The tension that Seyya was in the Episcopal Church and her aversion to something like a ring in her hand made her unconsciously murderous.

"So, what's that?

"Eh, this will be a magic sealed stone processed bracelet. It is the rule for those wishing to see the Seven Wise Men to wear them."

"Right."

Saiya says so, she receives the bracelet from Dalta and attaches it to her arm. The moment he put on his bracelet, he was attacked by the feeling as if his magic had disappeared from within him, and Seyya remembered an unpleasant memory.

I remember when I was once abducted, how I felt when I was betrayed because of the joy of being able to say I was one of them for the first time. Something I don't really want to remind you of, but on the contrary, without that incident, it makes me feel complicated to think that I wouldn't have met Yua or Lily.

"And no matter what happens, please don't take the bracelet in front of the Seven Wise Men"

"Oh, okay"

"Seiya will be fine, D'Arta"

"Are you sure you're okay, Melena? This guy's a little dangerous."

"You're rude to say it's dangerous. By the way, what kind of relationship do you two have?

Seiya asks because the relationship between the two of them has been bothering me for some time now.

Seyya knew that Melena had come to the Episcopal Church many times with Riger, so she thought she would still have the faculty at that time. But they're too close nonetheless.

Relationships like childhood friends are not as easy as seeing each other occasionally.

"Don't you know that one? Melena used to work in the Episcopal Church before she worked at Lady Riger's house."

"What!?

"It's also natural that Seyya doesn't know because she didn't say it. And D'Arta, I'd love to, but I respect the other guests."

"It was! Sorry... sorry"

D'Arta bows her head toward Seyya, as if she were a sister noted by her sister. But Seiya couldn't afford to worry about Dalta like that.

That's because it was too shocking that Melena used to work in this Episcopal Church.

"Is that it? What's up? Hey."

"Oh, bad. I was just thinking."

"Shh!? Ignore my apology!? Not terrible!? Hey, Melena, this guy's terrible."

"The idea of Seyya is that I worked for the Episcopal Church, right?

Leaving Dalta angry at Seyya for being ignored, Melena asked Seyya that.

Seiya nods quietly at Melena's inquiry. If it is true that Melena was a person of the Episcopal Church, the idea that she may have been reported to the Episcopal Church even with regard to the sacramental attributes of Yua and the existence of Lily, and the dark attributes of Seyya, goes through Seyya's head.

"To begin with, I'm not worried about Seyya's concerns. I am now a servant of the special magician, Lady Riger-Arunya, and not a person of the Episcopal Church. So don't worry."

"Right."

Seeing Melena's face, Seiya is relieved that she is convinced that what she is saying is what she thinks from the bottom of her heart.

But I'm curious why Melena, who was a man of the Episcopal Church, is serving as Riger's servant or something, Seiya. Melena gave me an explanation for such a perception of Seyya's doubts.

"Why? You have a face. Well, it's not about talking and damaging, so why don't we talk about old times in our spare time? As this collar shows at the beginning, I am a slave.

Kidnapped in childhood, then sold to a lot of places, and I got all kinds of trouble ahead of me.

When the Lord at the time seemed to me like that tried to kill me, the ecclesiastical staff who happened to be on the street helped and protected me. "

Seiya realizes that Melena's face, who talks back in time, looks the same as usual, but her voice is only a little higher than usual.

"For the first time in three years I was protected, I was able to get my parents to come back to me, but by then my parents were already dead. No longer close to me, I was then entering an institution run by this Episcopal Church to help the staff here while living there"

"And it was me, Dalta, who was in the same room as Melena at the facility."

D'Arta brags about that to Seyya with her chest stretched. Melena watched with a laugh at how Dalta was doing like that.

"Dalta was still young, and I was taking care of her in the same room."

"That's why Melena is like my sister!

"And five years ago, there was a case of a young lady being betrayed by a servant at the time and kidnapped. And the servant at the time was immediately caught.

According to that servant, there were other servants of accomplices, and the Arunya family was temporarily underserved at the time "

Seyya also knows what happened. It was the cause of Yua's loss of trust in people, and the trauma of that time has still not completely disappeared from her mind.

"And that wasn't the only problem! The extraordinary magician has a decision to keep one or more of the people who belonged to the Episcopal Church beside him, but the mastermind of the case is the one who belonged to the Episcopal Church, and he's made a fuss."

"D'Arta is right. And salutations."

"Ah."

Melena cautions Dalta, whose salutations have fallen out again, but Seiya was not conscious of those two. Because Seiya was surprised by the decision of the first superior magician to hear.

Associations by extraordinary magicians say they are independent organizations from the Episcopal Church, but those who were near them are those who were in the Episcopal Church. To a somewhat contradictory decision, Seyya thinks, but Melena's story continues.

"Naturally, because the servant was also caught, his husband no longer had a servant who belonged to the Episcopal Church, and he needed a new servant. That's how I was chosen at the time when I was fifteen. Then I became a servant of the Arunya family, to this day."

"Was it? Something's wrong."

"Don't worry about it. I just took the liberty of speaking."

Seyya didn't get an understanding of the unexpected continuum of facts, but there was only one thing she questioned. That's the collar that's still wrapped around Melena's neck.

No matter how much Melena was a slave, she is no longer a slave but a servant of the splendid Arunya family. If the Lord allows it, the collar can be removed immediately, let alone I don't think that that Riger will keep the collar on.

That key that reminds me of there.

The key that Riger gave to Melena as she left the house and is now on Melena's neck. Whatever you think, it seems to have something to do with the collar. Seiya was concerned about the key and collar relationship and tried to hear it, but before that, she would be contacted in the room.

Tell the Sayers as soon as D'Arta gets in touch.

"Apparently, the meeting went down in one paragraph."

"Right."

"Then let's go."

Once Seyya had the key from Melena's neck in her chest, she headed up the stairs to the conference room on the top floor where the Seven Wise Men were located.

It is the top of this country that Seyya is about to meet, and I know Dacrya exists. Never cause problems. Swearing so to his heart, Seyya confirmed the two letters that were in his chest pocket.

One is a letter from Ryger-Arunya, acting director of the Arsenian Magic Park, and the other from Ryger-Arunya, a premier magician. robbery with strength if you couldn't decide between these two.

Seyya's arm is equipped with a bracelet made of enchanted stone, which prevents her from exercising her magic. But if Seyya is serious, he can easily wipe out this degree of demon-sealed stone bracelet or something, and it's possible to bring him into battle.

How soon can we find the two of them and get out of this central kingdom? I definitely want to avoid fighting the Thirteen Apostles, rather than fighting them in the first place.

"We're here. From here on out, the two of you, please."

While Seyya was thinking about it, she arrived in front of the conference room where the Seven Wise Men were. Heavy iron doors are in front of Seyya.

(There are seven sages in this...)

As Seyya and Melena stand in front of the door, the heavy door makes a giggly noise and opens just a little. And there was a man's voice from inside.

"Get in."

They followed the voice and went quietly into the door.
