Falling Mage and the Power of Divergence

Episode 213: The Holy Knight

It was cloudy that morning. The sun does not show itself, and clouds won by gray fill the sky. But it didn't rain, and there was a cool breeze.

"It's finally today."

"Oh, yeah"

Eating breakfast, tense facial seiya and dalta with each other. But there won't be any need for you two to get nervous. Because today is the day of face to face with Arthur Wan, the Holy Knight, Leirian's most powerful magician in the first place in the Thirteenth Apostolic Sequence.

The two have been going for this Dacrean Empire for fifteen days now for today.

"What kind of man is the Holy Knight?

"I don't know, because I've never had one either. Besides, there's a lot of information about the Holy Knight, and it all lacks credibility."

As Seyya put it, there is surprisingly little information about the Saint Knight Arthur-One in Leiria. That all lacks credibility, such as rumours that the Seven Wise Men, who feared the power of the Holy Knight, were shifting left.

And most of that information can be called false information. Rather than that, it is the casual desire of the people's Saint Knight to have this happen.

So it is almost incredible.

Some say that the Holy Knight is a long-haired, skinny blonde, some say that she is a woman wrapped in a divine aura, and some say that she is the most powerful magician to destroy her enemies without showing their presence.

But these are all the words of the villagers on the border as if they had never seen the Holy Knight.

Information equal to such paranoia was out all over Leiria.

"Are you really good-looking with long skinny bodies?

"Saana."

Seyya eats a breakfast made by D'Arta as she thinks about the Holy Knight. Dalta's breakfast was delicious even today, and Saiya's anxiety was only slightly dispersed.

But as soon as the food stops, I think about Arthur Wan, the Holy Knight, again.

"You're too conscious..."

I said to myself somewhere mocking Seiya, but that reaction wouldn't be wrong. From now on, Seyya will meet Leiria's most powerful magician. There's nothing wrong with being too conscious.

Not to mention that the other person may have some sort of order from the Episcopal Church. Like the assassination of Seyya. But it was hard to think about it, so Seyya brought the breakfast to her mouth again and somehow distracted her.

When Seyya finished her breakfast, the time was just around 10: 30.

The Sayers have not exactly set the time for their rendezvous with the Holy Knight, but the ecclesiastical side tells them to head to the example fountain square around lunch.

I mean, I have about an hour left to see the Holy Knight.

So Seiya left me saying she was going to concentrate a little bit on Dalta and disappeared into the bedroom. And in the bedroom, strive to restore the magic of the Holy Class.

"Arthur Wang, Saint Knight, Reilia's most powerful magician..."

Seyya is desperate to recover, crushing her name. I haven't been sure it's going to be a fight yet, but it wouldn't be a bad thing to keep it in case.

Besides, the target is the Holy Knight. Assuming it's a battle, I don't even know how far I can go to fight in Seyya right now. Moreover, as we approach Dacrya, we find that the dark attributes grow stronger in Seyya.

Perhaps if we use Demon King mode here, in one kind, Seyya will be deprived of control of the flesh by another Seyya.

So Seiya desperately tried to restore her magic powers so she didn't have to use Demon King mode.

And finally, the time has come. Time to leave the inn.

"Let's go, D'Arta"

"Yeah."

When they leave the inn with a tense face, they head to Fountain Square, which is where they meet. We still had time by lunch, but we just can't keep the Saints waiting, so the Sayers got out early.

The fountain square should not take long enough from the inn, but only this time it took nearly twice as long to arrive. The reason is that on the way to Fountain Square, people talked to me when I did.

That was less than three minutes after I left the inn.

"Oh, Dalta. Hello."

"Oh, hello, auntie"

"Since morning."

"Yes!"

Seiya is amazed at Dalta, who looks good among women who have never had one. But I look at the eight hundred houses behind the woman, and I immediately guess I knew her in shopping.

Then a woman looked at Seyya and said:

"So, that's you, Seiya?

"That's right. This is Seyya."

D'Arta happily introduces Seiya to women. Seeing such a Dalta thing, Seiya meets the woman lightly.

Then a woman told Seyya.

"Take care of you, Dalta. She's such a good girl. She's not."

"Ha, ha"

Suddenly he preached and said something confusing, Seiya. But women weren't the only ones preaching like that.

When the two escape from their aunt in the 800 house, this time they meet the butcher's uncle. Here again, D'Arta was spoken to.

"Hey lady, isn't that Saiya?

A well-groomed man stares at Seyya to determine. Seiya felt just a little uncomfortable, but even here she had a light meeting and tried to move quickly.

But before that, the butcher's uncle stood before Seyya.

"Can I help you?

His uncle, who stood in front of Seyya, stares at Seyya as he wraps up some disturbing air. From the air, Seyya soon realized that it was a race in which men could manipulate magic, and was wary only of rubbish.

"Well, apparently you can."

"Hi..."

"Well, that's all I'm saying. If I make you cry, we won't forgive you."

"Ha ha..."

Seiya can't help but be confused by a man who releases a sense of intimidation and says things that don't make sense. However, the change in the male air made the air that Seyya also wrapped up correspondingly.

That's relentless intimidation. At a time when he was intimidated by men, Seyya recognized the man as an enemy without much. And to Seyya, who unleashes such intimidation against his enemies, men are a little wolfy.

"Sounds like you'll do quite a bit. Well, that's all I have to say."

That's what the man says, he goes back inside the store. Seyya did not care about such a man, but went straight to Fountain Square.

After that, Seyya finally arrived at Fountain Square, where the same thing happened in bakeries and furniture shops.

There were quite a few people in the fountain square after lunch. Parents and children with children, couples sitting friendly on the bench, girls reading while leaning against the fountain, etc.

"The Holy Knight..."

"You're not here."

Seyya and D'Arta looked for the Holy Knight for now, but they realize it's not at first sight. That was because the surrounding atmosphere of the people in Fountain Square didn't seem like Leiria's most powerful magician after all.

So the two of them decided to wait in the fountain square.

"I wonder what the hell he's like."

"I don't know. More than that, D'Arta, what the hell did those people just say?

"What do you mean..."

Dulta, who doesn't know what Saiya's question means, has trouble answering. So Saiya tried to elaborate the question, that was then. That hasn't been three minutes since the two of them came to Fountain Square.

The voice abruptly.

"Are you Christina-Saya?

"What?"

Listen to that voice and see the direction in which Seyya spoke. Then there she was, a girl whose appearance only looked like thirteen. But Seyya knew. that the girl is not thirteen, but twenty-seven.

"Are you..."

"Speaking of which, you didn't have a name. I belong to the Episcopal Church, number one in the Apostolic Sequence of the Thirteen, and I am the Holy Knight Arthur-One."

The girl who named her was the one who had Seyya at this dining room.
