Falling Mage and the Power of Divergence

Episode 273: Rescue Operations

Seiya, who had been captured, left the room on her ass with six men falling to the ground unconscious. Then I was unlucky and bowled in with other demon king adventurers. Besides, the adventurer seems to have seen what's going on in the room from the gap between the closed doors, and sets his weapon against Seyya.

Seeing how the adventurer behaved, the other adventurers who were in the aisle also laid their weapons towards Seyya.

"You, why are you outside the room!

"What have you done to the Branch Managers!

Altogether there are eight adventurers who lay their weapons against Seyya. From their necks is hung an adventurer tag indicating they are adventurers, and it can be seen that everyone there is a C-rank adventurer.

"Did you?"

Seeing the adventurers laying their weapons made Seyya want to blame her indiscretion. But I had no hesitation in Seyya, who remembered more anger at the actions of the Dedemonized Kings than I had before. At the next moment, the adventurers who were arming themselves towards Seyya lose their minds simultaneously. It was made conscious by the struggle emanating from Seyya.

But Seiya makes one mistake here. Only one of the adventurers who stunned him was a magician dressed badly. Despite its rank with the other adventurers, it can be said that it is quite different. Moreover, without a heart or the flesh of its adventurers is a poor minister compared to the other adventurers. The flesh was as if it had not eaten enough.

"No way......"

Seyya rushes closer to the man and is immediately convinced. The man felt the magic of the light attribute, albeit trace. There's also a heterogeneous magic like being forced to plant it.

"I didn't know even brainwashed adventurers were lost."

In that fact, Seyya remembered further anger, as well as wanting to save the adventurers who were brainwashed and treated like slaves. Having used the night attribute against that adventurer to instantly erase traces of brainwashing, Seyya went on to use the magic of the light attribute to recover his flesh.

That makes the flesh of the adventurer, which until earlier was poorly blooded, good and erases all traces of brainwashing.

"Saving the people is the job of those who stand up there."

Sleeping the unbrainwashed adventurer on the edge of the aisle, Seyya begins the prying of the base of the Dedemonized Kings as it is. The purpose of Seyya is the extermination of the demon kings in this facility and the rescue of the victims who are forced to work by brainwashing.

As Seyya progresses, naturally the other adventurers notice the anomaly and attack Seyya, but Seyya returns all those attacks with her bare hands.

If one adventurer has waved down his sword, he will grab that wrist and at the same time go around behind his back and remove that shoulder to prune his consciousness. If another adventurer comes forward using a spear, he dodges the spear to the side and at the same time sees a mighty fist in its face. If another adventurer magically attempts to attack Seyya, seal the magic with a "dark wave" as well as enter the user's pocket and shoot a dovetail.

Thus Seyya was surely pruning consciousness one by one. The struggle could have made it easier to retreat, but Seyya was politely handling each and every one of them because she wanted to hurt the victim if she could. By the way, if the victim of brainwashing attacked me, I unbrainwashed him with the night attribute, and recovered that flesh with the light attribute to put him to sleep.

The way Seyya did it was the way she took care of her victims to the fullest, but inevitably she spends more time on each and every one of them. Naturally, there's no way the demon kings don't notice the anomaly, and the alarm goes off all over the underground facility.

"There he is!

"He's the intruder!

"Take it down!"

I find Seyya. No wonder the demon king adventurers are attacking me, but in front of the overwhelming difference in strength between the two, I am stunned without the art of exchange. Was it after processing about a few hundred people that Seyya went out to the open room?

"Is this a welcome to the Imperial Branch General?

It was the figure of the fully armed adventurers who came into Seyya's eyes out of the open space. Besides, that number is such that I don't like to count it visually. Unlike previous adventurers, some of them also see the B-rank adventurers tagged with silver.

"Are you the intruder?

A silver-tagged man at the head of the adventurers asks Seyya.

"Well, that's the place."

"Right. Then did you give up?

"What do you mean?

"Meaning as it is. You think you can handle the three thousand people here alone?

Even if there are a thousand opponents or 10,000, it won't be a burden to Seyya if that strength isn't enough to take. Using struggle, the number of three thousand can be wiped out in an instant. But it was also a distracting number when it came to dealing with each other while checking each and every one, as earlier.

"Oh, this guy!

It was then. One man among the more than three thousand adventurers points to Seyya and makes a scene. Seeing the man's reaction, three other adventurers pointed to Seyya as they noticed.

"Oh, my God!

"Of that time!

"D-Rank Adventurer!

Seyya looked familiar to the adventurers pointing to herself. That's because it was Skulls, a B-rank adventurer who got involved with the Sayers the other day.

"You guys know?

"It's him, Leader! A D-rank adventurer who said we were fucked!

"We were shamed in front of the audience."

"You son of a bitch!

"I won't forgive you!

Apparently, the man in the lead is Skulls' leader. I do also feel like the citizens around me said a five-man adventurer when Seyya was involved. They seem to have quite a grudge against Seyya, and they have been staring at Seyya for a while now.

"I see you're the adventurer who painted the name of Skulls with mud."

"I'm not going to have painted anything else with mud. They just blew themselves up."

"" "" WHAT!!!! "" "

I didn't mean to say it with the intention of provoking them. Seiya, but it seems to have fuelled their anger as a result. The leader's man also sees a slight but angry color.

"Apparently, you need an education in the D-ranks that are on track."

"That's our line. You keep that branch manager at the top a lot."

"Branch manager? Oh, that bonkers. If you call me Branch Manager, you'll feel better and work for us, so I'm just using you."

"That's a terrible story."

I pity Seiya about the branch manager in my heart. And understand that the man in front of you would be partitioning this Dedemonized Empire Branch.

"Is that bonkla dead?

"No, he's asleep by now."

"Right."

Seyya didn't end up killing about the branch manager. That's because he could be a bargaining material with a premier magician. I'm not going to give you any mercy.

"Fair enough. I'll kill him after I finish you off."

"You're a good man."

"Why don't you worry about yourself before you worry about those bonkers? From what I hear, it sounds like you have strength for D-rank, but I wonder if you can live with this number."

The man's expression is full of room before the overwhelming number of differences. Unlike before, Seyya thought it would force a struggle when it came to including the B-rank adventurers on top of the increase in numbers.

Bong! A number of distressing voices rise from the rear of the adventurers with the loud sound of

"What's going on?

I see a man making noises, but the number of his overwhelming adventurers is a vendetta, and I can't see the rear. But what I can say for sure is that it is not by Saiya. And soon we found out who it was.

One woman descends beside Seyya in a gap where all consciousness is pointing in the direction of sound. When the woman looked at Seyya, she greeted her lightly, as if it had been all over the city.

"Hey, Saiya, I'm here to help you."

"Long time no see, Sarin"

It was Sarin, an Adventurer Guild official in the Fourth District of Daklia, who showed up next to Seyya, and Sarnalin.
