Falling Mage and the Power of Divergence

Episode 317: The Holy Knight (Medium)

The Episcopal Church and the Seven Wise Men are false beings. Hartos can't understand what that means. But what matters is that the Seven Wise Men were denied, not their authenticity.

Hartos, convinced that the rule of the country required an Episcopal Church led by the Seven Wise Men, did not deserve to hear Arthur.

"Make as much bullshit as you can. Ooh!

"Bullshit. Then how come your" Last One "isn't up and running"

"Except for that and this!

Hartos, who is slashed without giving while breathing, but Arthur recieves all of that attack. Hartos, who is supposed to increase his power according to his negative emotions, but he can't attack or give Arthur a scratch.

Arthur tells Hartos the brutal truth with his spare face.

"It's not different. Rather, that is the primary cause. The Last One, which houses the thoughts of the people of the Kingdom of Leiria, is precisely Leiria's last trump card. Only a magician given the name of the Holy Knight by the rightful royal family of Leiria can use it, the only one of its kind. There have never been two magicians in history with the name of the Holy Knight."

Hartos continues to wave his sword even without listening to Arthur. That's because if you don't wave your sword, you'll listen to Arthur.

"Then why did you try to use Last One? The answer is because the Seven Wise Men gave you the name of the Holy Knight. But I am still Arthur Wan of the Episcopal Church, and you are the Holy Knight of the Controversy. I mean, the Seven Wise Men have no power to nominate the Holy Knights."

Arthur's story was contradictory. In the first place, the Holy Knight is a magician belonging to the Divine Episcopal Church of the Goddess, whose power is supposedly used for the Episcopal Church to benefit the Kingdom of Leiria.

Thus the Holy Knight pledged his absolute loyalty to the Goddess, who was able to grant the Holy Knight the right to use "Last One," Leiria's last trump card to reach it.

But in Leiria today, there is no goddess, and it is the Seven Wise Men who are essentially manipulating the Episcopal Church. Then a similar structure must be formed between the Saints and the Seven Wise Men.

In the first place, the source of the power of 'Last One' is the thoughts of the people, whose thoughts are entrusted to the Holy Knight via the goddess who is ahead of the faith. And as things stand, the faith of the people is going to the Episcopal Church, including the Seven Wise Men, and it is theoretically possible to make 'Last One' available to the Holy Knights they have nominated by going through them.

Then why couldn't Hartos use the power of the Holy Knight? Why can Arthur be named the Holy Knight, who is being treated by the Seven Wise Men for conspiracy?

The answer is simple. If you think about the situation in a gigantic way, you'll get there quickly. But it was too difficult and unacceptable for the King Leirian people, who were not allowed to have that gigantic perspective.

Hartos also had to understand at the bottom of his heart. What Arthur is saying fits. But you can't admit it.

Haltos' sword, which had been constantly shaken from earlier, stops.

"Shut up..."

"Hey, Hartos. You know what's buried under the Episcopal Church?

Arthur asked Hartos to grate the Holy Sword Excalibur.

"You think it's underground in the Episcopal Church? When something like that exists."

"It exists. We've seen it now."

"You want me to believe that?

Hartos doesn't know what's buried in the basement of the Episcopal Church. If he is not informed, even though he is the Thirteenth Apostle, it will be Arthur's bullshit. But for nonsense, Arthur seemed convinced.

"The answer is the house."

"Rooms?"

"Yes, there was once a house under the Episcopal Church"

"That's what it is. It's no wonder there's a cabin."

Hartos is right, I wouldn't be surprised where there was a barn. It is not surprising that the Episcopal Church, by its very nature, has a place to detain sinners because they are the rule of law institutions of the country.

I don't know why it's not being used now, but what is it where it was?

"Sure. Then who do you think he was holding?

"You mean besides the blame?"

"You're a man who doesn't see the reality of creation."

"What do you want to say"

Hartos pointing a sharp knob. He should have noticed at this time. He said we should not listen to Arthur any more. Because if you tilt it as it is, his faith will disappear.

"Let's change the question. Who once ruled this country?

"You think I don't know about 'The Creator's Book'? It's up to the Leirian royalty."

"Then why did the royal family perish?

"You don't even know the Book of the Creator? The Royal Leiria perished by the advent of the Warcraft. This is common sense."

Indeed, what Hartos is saying about 'The Creator's Book' is the common sense of this country, an anecdote that no one ever did anything to doubt. But then there's obviously something wrong.

I asked Arthur a question that poked at the core when he slightly put his lips on it.

"You think the Warcraft only devoured the royalty?

"What?"

"Think about it. The royalty is inherently a race that must survive to the end in this country. Then if the royal family was destroyed by the Warcraft, it would be strange if all the humans in this country were not eaten by the Warcraft."

Hartos breathes into the words.

"Royalty is naturally not alone. Dozens, no, hundreds. You think only royalty will perish?

As Arthur put it, it's a strange story that all royalty has been destroyed by the Warcraft. Even if the royal lineage had been killed, the royal family must have been able to rebuild if they had been separated and festived for adoption.

But there is no royalty in Leiria today. On the contrary, it is not in the corner of people's consciousness.

"Let's get back to it. Who the hell do you think was in the basement of the Episcopal Church?

"No way... that shouldn't be..."

Hartos has noticed. What is Arthur trying to say? And what does that mean?

The mouth opens, Hartos.

"No way the royal family is in the hut...?

"That's right. The Episcopal Church is a false being built on a hut that has shut down the royals."

The word was affirmed by Arthur after the slightest thought of denying it.
