Falling Mage and the Power of Divergence

Next one after the other.

A florist waiting for Seyya, restrained by giant branches of trees in a warehouse that sounds like an explosion from afar, and flowers blooming with magic sucked from that Seyya. The Florist seemed to have a better advantage in the circumstances, but as time progressed it was the Florist who showed a rushed color.

"What's going on?

The look on the Florist's face that glances at Saiya is far from what we could afford earlier. Saiya, on the other hand, said she was still being held captive by Daiki, but her expression was still full of room.

Suspicious of Seyya, who never raised her distressed voice when she said she continued to be sucked by the great tree, Florist turned his eyes to the buds of a circle of flowers rooted in the great tree.

"What!?

It's the same bud of flowers that jumped into the eyes of the Florist as before. A regular flower bud if you look just like that, but it was an incomprehensible sight for the Florist.

Normally, flowers that suck magic out of the subject and bloom continue to grow as long as they continue to suck magic. The more magic the subject has, the larger the buds proportionally become and blossom for the first time at the stage of sucking out the magic. And blossoming simultaneously means the debilitation of the subject.

But the flowers that are supposed to bloom in front of Seyya remain the same size all the time. or no sign of buds blooming.

What that fact means is that Daiki can no longer absorb magic from Seyya on the way. The buds, sealed in some way of absorption of magic, are difficult to bloom again. This means that the flowers on the flower list will never bloom again.

"How did you prevent the absorption of magic?

"I don't know. I'm not nice enough to teach you that."

"Hmm, okay. 'Cause it doesn't change my advantage."

As the Florist puts it, it's not like Seyya is free to move where she has prevented the flowers of magic absorption. The Florist is free to move against Seyya, whose movement is sealed by the Great Tree.

Besides, the aspirants around him are also watching the magic of the Florist and fighting at a distance from him. It would be more natural to assume that nothing would interfere in the battle between Seyya and Florist.

"It's against my aesthetics to get my hands on it directly, so I'm not really into it."

"Then it would be helpful if you could remove this restraint."

"But unfortunately, it's more against my aesthetics to miss the opportunity."

"Someone said you can choose who you want to hunt."

"That's your first ear. But it's a good word, so let's carve it in my chest. And you're the one who chose!

At the next moment, new trees sprout as a yellow-green magic formation unfolds on the right hand side of the flowlist. The trees quickly encircled the right arm of the flowlist, and the right arm of the flowlist seemed to be protected by armor made of trees.

"Do you know how great plants are?

"In Basic Knowledge"

"The trees have always been predators. Someone eats you, even if you don't eat someone. Still, the trees have reflected times that are forever close. I mean, the trees are the most powerful thing in the world."

There will be theories in Florist's claims, but there is room for understanding in his opinion, given the simple diagram of the food chain.

Plant-eating herbivores, carnivores eating their herbivores, warcraft eating their carnivores. The world is ruled by this food chain. The trees are not supposedly eaten by herbivores, but the nuts produced by the trees are eaten by the animals. In that sense, the trees will also hit the predators again.

"And when those trees turn to attack, it becomes the most powerful weapon in the world. This is what Woods describes as the right arm of the devil. It's the strongest spear that pierces everything."

The right hand of the Florist, known as Woodes, is certainly shaped like the right arm of the devil. Besides, its tip is pointy like a sharp spear, and if it were pierced by its arms, there wouldn't be a single one.

Seiya, who is still in custody, also sees for the first time how she can't hide her interest in the right arm of the devil. I know there's a different magic system in Dacrea than Leiria's, but I was nevertheless interested in how to use the magic I saw for the first time.

In Leiria, magic that fits into a kind of shape is considered beautiful, but that type is unnecessary in Dacrya. The magic used to survive every day as an adventurer is ready for action.

If such magic were used at Leirian's School of Magic, it would undoubtedly be repelled by the people in the house after eating reprimands from the teachers. Because for a famous family that weighs its mould from generation to generation, magic like Woods in the Florist is not worthy of inheritance.

A hard-won, meritocratic Frestan region might admit it, but it's still not happily accepted.

Initially Seyya thought the florist, conscious of virtue, was close to the magician of Leiria, but he is still also a magician of Dacrea. Behind his beauty seemed to be hidden a magic with a clear intent to kill.

"I will pierce you with the right arm of this demon from now on. This is an unpleasant thing for me, but I can't help it because the flowers of life don't bloom."

"As far as I'm concerned, it would have been better if you'd given up when you found out that the flower of life didn't work."

"That's not going to happen. This is a test of strength. I'm gonna fail out of hand here."

"That's why you won't have to kill him."

"You're sweet. If we're going to live in the world behind us, we have to be prepared to kill, to be killed by it."

As far as Florist's word goes, maybe he's a person in the world behind him. Certainly the words and deeds are a little too drastic because they are Dacrya magicians.

It's hard to admit Florist claims if you try from Seiya, who thinks you don't need to kill someone because it's a place to show your strength. But you can assume that they also have an idea close to the Florist around where the Dedemonized Kings adventurers don't try to stop the Florist.

This means that those who survive on this occasion are righteous.

"You think if I beg for my life here, you won't help me?

"Naturally. If this was a one-on-one fight, there was room for thought, but unfortunately, it's a survival match. Missing you here doesn't end the battle, and I don't feel good about you stabbing me later."

As Florist puts it, missing your opponent in an endless, invisible battle would not be a praiseworthy act. Seyya's thoughts were probably sweet in that sense.

An impromptu scaffold can be made by showing the movement of the trees branching from the great trees that bind Seyya's body intertwining in front of Seyya. The buds that were in front of him were withered if he noticed, and the trees on which the buds were rooted were scattered on the ground.

When a florist rides an impromptu scaffold, it takes the form of just facing Seyya.

"This will be the last time I'll see you face to face."

"Personally, I want you to give up here."

"That's not going to happen. But I'm not a ghost either, so you can ask him about his will."

That's very kind of you.

Seiya makes me want to slap a light mouth that I wouldn't be willing to tell her where I heard her will, but I honestly decided to keep my mouth shut here.

"Speaking of which, you didn't hear your name. I'm a florist."

"Me? My name is Mizuchi."

"Right, Mizuchi. So what's left to say?

"Right, let me think a little bit more"

"Too bad it's out of time. Bye, Mizuchi."

Finally, the word, the Florist pierced Seyya's chest with its right arm, described as the right arm of the devil.
