Falling Mage and the Power of Divergence
Catch up with Kakuyom.
Shortly after Densil fires two pistols that he imitates with his fingers, Jack feels something happen around him again. So the means chosen by Jack is not to exercise the magic of dark attributes, but to erect a sword in his right hand.
"Ho."
Densil, who looks impressed with Jack's behavior, looks out for Jack. Jack, on the other hand, flashes his sword with himself as the axis when he wraps the magic of the dark attribute around the ordinary sword he erects. As a result, a slaughter ridden by the magic of the dark attribute is shot out around Jack, instantly striking down something that has occurred around him.
Something about it exploded in the impact of the slaughter, and the blast stroked Jack's cheek. Jack looks at Densil with the magic of the dark attribute wrapped around the sword he holds in his right hand. Densil applauded Jack for his handling.
"I didn't think you'd be dealt with completely in the second shot"
"You don't have to be afraid of your moves as long as you know Tane."
"If you're a concurrent adventurer, you're upset with your first hand, and your second hand strikes even worse."
"I don't want to be with the grubby fish around here."
Jack is a man who belongs to the dark side of the Adventurers' Union, and the experience he has gained would be ridiculous to compare with a concurrent adventurer.
"I see Jay can do quite a bit. But to have so much strength in that year would be no match for most of the experience. Jay, who the hell are you?
"He's a passing adventurer."
"Hmm, let's remember"
Jack still doesn't remember any frustration with Densil for coming here and assuming he's an advantage. I stopped being frustrating, to be exact.
Jack began to admit that Densil was not a miscellaneous fish. And he changed his perception as a target to be disposed of with his own hands.
I admitted to Densil, so Jack is serious about Densil as much as he can get out here. Densil, on the other hand, noticed that Jack's wrapping air had changed, and he seemed to be tightening his mind.
"If you're not coming, we're going this way."
"Sometimes I give you away"
"Thank you."
At the next moment, Jack disappears from the top of the load. No, actually, I jumped from the top of the load toward Densil, but I had the illusion that Jack had disappeared because of Jack's skill, which didn't make me feel any of the preliminary motion.
Densil also couldn't keep up with Jack's skill and missed out on Jack. But Densil is no more vigilant than he needs to be, than he knows what Jack is after.
His aim is definitely his own neck. Then you can create a barrier that protects your confidence. At the same time, you won't have to be afraid if you set a trap that explodes if you sense Jack outside a barrier that protects your confidence.
Densil thinks so and executes it immediately. but before that Jack's sword tip plundered Densil's neck.
What I noticed wasn't that I could see Jack, or that I felt Jack's killer. Just for a moment, Densil shifted his center of gravity slightly behind him, feeling an unusual chill for just a moment. The look on Densil's face, which it was able to perform and dodge Jack's sword on the brink, was full of surprise and fear.
Jack's attack was not at all, to say the least, killer. If killing people is not as familiar and natural as breathing, you won't be able to target your life while hiding your killing intentions. When we started to put ourselves in the world of battle, we were aiming to frighten our opponents with killing, but few people knew that it was more significant to extinguish killing at the border one day.
And Densil was one of them. So he immediately understands that Jack is an unusual being, and he deplores being a person who won't even give him while he can afford to breathe.
(Not so many humans have so much skill in concealing killing... Jay, you're just like me...)
It was Densil who tried to reach Jack's identity in his mind, but the thought spreads in the next moment. Jack's sword, which should have dodged on the brink, but only the purple magic wrapped around the sword was about to slightly change its shape and approach Densil's neck.
"I can't..."
Densil, who stepped on it in time to defend it, exercises magic in the space between himself and Jack. The magic formations built in a comma few seconds of the world are so brittle, they are no longer a substitute for the magic formations, but that's fine. When the almost broken magic formation collapses, the magic that was there is dispersed and spread simultaneously. The result is an outburst of magic that can't even be magic between the two of us, but that set Jack and Densil apart.
Densil, who painstakingly defended himself from Jack's attacks, but took less damage from the outbursts of magic he generated himself. On the contrary, Jack had little scratch because he extinguished the magic that came down on him with the magic of the dark attribute.
"You sound surprised."
"You bet. You can't be as quick as that right now."
"How long have you been under the illusion that I'm relying on the Triple Pipe?"
"What?"
Densil doubted his ears on Jack's words. I couldn't feel what I could afford in that look.
"Teresa's ability is to manipulate density in the air to create a simulated bomb. But then, because of your inferior attack power, you're the first to use a sound bomb in a sound range beyond human audible range to drive the target's triple tube crazy, right?
"Discover"
Densil's ability is to manipulate density in the atmosphere. It had created a transparent bomb by rapidly increasing the density of some parts of the atmosphere to converge pressure in one place and unleashing it once and for all.
And even though Jack used the magic of the dark attribute in the first hand, he couldn't make all the bombs disappear because Jack's triple tube was already insane and subtly uneven in the source of the bomb he recognized and the range of the dark attributes he actually exercised.
So instead of targeting the source one by one during the second attack, Jack handled everything around him with a slash with the magic of a dark attribute.
But that's not the problem. Jack's handling of the surrounding bombs with slaughter is an astonishing judgment, but not an unexpected act. Rather, what was unexpected was that Jack was able to move so quickly.
Even though Densil exercised defensive magic centered around himself, who knew Jack's aim when he fought back, Jack's body was already within close range of Densil, and the tip of his sword in his grip was trying to hunt Densil's neck precisely.
This shouldn't be a craftsmanship that can be done by humans with half-regulation going mad. Densil doesn't know exactly how Jack was able to move, even though he was moving at that speed. It was a move as if the Triple Regulation were undisturbed, but from Jack's mouthfeel there would be no doubt that the Triple Regulation was disturbed.
Densil's doubts deepened.
