Falling Mage and the Power of Divergence
Garlic 11
Having paragraphed the treatment of the critically ill, Seyya had come to the forefront following the florist who had headed ahead. So what popped into Seyya's eyes was the appearance of the demonic Kings adventurers who suffered even worse injuries than earlier.
What they have in common is that part of the human body is burned from within. This is the undisputed magic of human firing, but this is the first magic Seyya has seen as well.
The magic of human fire is not in itself so rare in the Kingdom of Leiria. However, by its magical nature, it is forbidden for student magicians to use it because of ethical considerations. Some student magicians can use human fire, but they don't use it on the tabular stage first.
Especially the use in competitions where large numbers of people gather like the Leirian Magic Games is so neglected by people that it is repelled. However, because the strength of magic itself is certain, it is the current situation that there are a certain number of magicians to master.
It means that more than this magic is used, the Demon King's Army side is also seriously dealing with the adventurers of the Dedemonization Kings. Seyya hears a scream as she moves forward on the front line alert to the magic she sees for the first time.
The Lord of that voice is the Florist. Seiya immediately went to the place where her voice spoke, where she was looking at a florist sitting with a loss of her right arm. In front of him stood a magician in armor, about to exercise the magic of human fire again towards the Florist.
It was almost simultaneously with Seyya exercising her dark attributes to extinguish the magic exercised by the man standing in front of the Florist and Seyya realizing who the man was.
"He..."
Look at the wrapped armor of the man. Seiya immediately understands that the man is a Leirian magician. And Seyya, who looked familiar with the armor he could wear, never took much time to understand that Pramia was the magician of the Silforo squad.
In response to Seyya, who extinguished the human fire exercised by the Florist, Pramia also immediately perceived third party interference.
"Are you…"
Looking around, Pramia immediately recognises Seyya's appearance and at the same time gives her a surprised look. Seiya, on the other hand, exercises the magic of water attributes on a flowlist that has lost her right arm to calm the pain. Florist consciousness was already flying at this point.
"I didn't expect to see you here."
"That's this line. Why is the Episcopal Mage here?"
The mission of the Episcopal Mage is not to defend Dacrea. Their mission is to hit Railia's policing. As a Leirian magician it is natural to question their movements, but Seyya had conjectures in that context.
However, Seyya pretended not to know because the demon king Forno-Mamon and the second in the thirteenth apostolic sequence, Silforno-Second, were the same person, which is not public information.
Pramia also returns the question in response to Seyya's question.
"Then ask the other way, why are you on the side of the Revolutionary Army, a superior magician? No, in this case, is it right to say that we are confused with the revolutionary army?
If an ecclesiastical magician is a magician who hits Railia's policing, the extraordinary magician is a magician who moves for Railia.
There are parts of Seyya's behavior that are difficult to understand if you apply this idea, but Pramia makes corrections immediately.
"No, you could have used the dark attribute. I don't even recognize that trait, but it's no surprise that you have a lot to do with Dacrea."
Seyya's dark attributes are exposed to the public at the Leirian Magic Games earlier. I could easily imagine Seyya having a relationship with Dacrya if I had seen that battle and knew about the dark attributes.
"It's an honor for the Silforo Squad, also known as the Episcopal Church's most powerful unit, to know."
"Well, you knew we were magicians serving Master Silforno."
If the Demon King of Dacrya II didn't know Silforno, neither could Seyya be certain that the Pramias would even be the Silforno squad. Even though we know from the uniform armor worn by the Episcopal forces that they are Episcopal people, we cannot grasp them to their affiliation.
But Seyya knows that the Demon King of Dakulia II is Silforno. Then it's easy for the man in front of you to make a determination with the Silforo squad.
"My name is Pramia. I'm letting you serve as deputy chief of the Silforno squad."
"I see. That's why the Revolutionary Army has no hands or feet."
"It's like you're saying you're not?
"If it's just strength, the people here and I are different."
You don't have to hide your strengths worse than the other person knows your own qualities. Besides, there are only revolutionary armies around who are fortunately unconscious, so they don't even have to play Mizuchi.
"Surely, if the extraordinary magician were my opponent, I'd need to keep my mind shut, too."
"I hear that if you are also Deputy Head of the Episcopal Church's most powerful unit, its strength is comparable to that of the Thirteen Apostles"
"That's a premium magician. Do you even know what we're dealing with?"
"Somewhat. But there's only one thing I don't know."
Seyya's question is a simple one.
"Why do you people who belong to the Episcopal Church take the side of the Demon King Forno-Mamon?
"It's a simple thing. For justice."
"Justice? Even if that's treachery against the Seven Wise Men?
It is the Seven Wise Men who divide the present Episcopal Church, the supreme decision-making body of the Episcopal Church to which the Pramias belong. Seyya had only met once, too, but they didn't have a very good impression of Dacrya.
It's hard to imagine them taking sides with the demon kings of Dacrea like that.
That would mean that their justice is not for the Seven Wise Men, but for the captain, Silforo-Second.
"It's not the Seven Wise Men we serve."
Seiya showed surprise when she heard Pramia's answer. Normally, Pramia's claims would sound unintelligible, but I could understand Pramia's sincerity in knowing the circumstances.
"You think you guys are moving for the Kingdom of Leiria?
Seyya's question would have seemed out of sight if humans who knew nothing had heard it. Generally speaking, moving for the Kingdom of Leiria means moving and agreeing for the Seven Wise Men of the Episcopal Church.
But if anyone who understands the situation hears it, Seyya's question will be turned over one hundred and eighty times.
"Exactly. We swore to offer this flesh for the Leirian royal family, the existence that divides the true kingdom of Leiria."
"You know what?"
Apparently, Pramia knows the Morgans exist. But I know that much, and I don't seem to know about Seyya.
I don't know if there were any mistakes in communicating the information, or if they didn't dare teach it, but it was clear that any further discussion was futile.
After all, Seyya is now an adventurer belonging to the Revolutionary Army, and Pramia is a magician on the side of the Demon King's Army. It was inevitable that the two could cross blades.
