Falling Mage and the Power of Divergence
Revolutionary Army 6
The hut, nestled securely inside the mine, was originally used as a base for workers working in the mine. Near industrial cities formed by non-magicians who cannot use magic, this mine is also an important resource for the people of industrial cities.
As a result, the facilities themselves are of a high standard, adjacent to a cabin but capable of accommodating many people. Convenient to the Revolutionary Army, which has many wounded, the facility is in immediate use and the medical teams are still in the process of rescuing the wounded.
And those who could move, including the Revolutionary Army Deputy Commander, were using a cabin room to discuss their future policies. Of course there is the figure of Seyya and Jack who brought back information and supplies from industrial cities.
"I didn't expect to announce a public execution at this time..."
"It's a good time to crush the Revolutionary Army with honor if you look at them."
"Damn it, motherfucker."
The face of the Revolutionary Army, who found out about the public execution of the Revolutionary Army being captured, is harsh.
"But on the contrary, comrades are still alive."
"You don't think I'm going to help!?
"So you're abandoning me?
"Look at reality! There's nothing we can do about it now!
"That's right. You're overwhelmingly underpowered!
"Then you want me to try and get my fingers around my comrade getting killed!
The Revolutionary Army Deputy Commander is silent as each opinion collides. Saiya and Jack of the New American Revolutionary Army will not try to pinch their mouths again.
We'll argue. They were divided into a party that everyone wants to help their people, but claims to be unrealistic, and a party that still insists they should move.
The deputy commander finally opens his mouth as the debate becomes incandescent.
Everybody calm down.
"Deputy Commander..."
"What does the Deputy Commander think?
When everyone's attention is drawn to the Deputy Commander, the Deputy Commander opens his mouth as he rises from his chair and stares at the mine that spreads out the window.
"You must be general in wanting to help your people. But my mission is to survive the Revolutionary Army, and I can't allow it to go into the barricade."
"So you're abandoning the comrades?
"I didn't say anything like that. I'm just saying, realistically speaking, it's not enough."
Together we get a puzzled look at the way we say it to have inclusions. But the deputy commander's mind seemed to be set, and he asked the Sayers as he turned.
"Mizuchi, Jay. You've joined the Revolutionary Army for a shallow day, but I hear your experience in action is unusual. So I want to ask you. [M] What do you think we should do?
That would be like a kind of trial. Seyyas qualities are being questioned here for whether or not they can find a way to open it.
"You want us to decide the answer?
"I'm not looking that far. But you must have gone to an industrial city and touched it right away."
"What?
"It's their underlying emotions"
I didn't understand what the Deputy Commander was talking about. Seiya, but Jack seems to be feeling better.
"I don't care."
"Jay, did you notice?
"Oh. You can't."
Jack denied his idea after understanding what the deputy commander was going to say. Because that is too reckless and too optimistic.
But the then Deputy Commander seems confident.
"Deputy Commander, what the hell are you thinking?
"It's a simple story. If you don't have enough people, you can refill them. Luckily for us, there's just a bunch of people out there who don't like the Demons."
That's how the deputy commander points out the window. It is the rocky skin of the mine that spreads out the window, but beyond it lies the industrial city.
In other words, the Deputy Commander intends to mobilize human beings from industrial cities as a force of war. Sure, industrial city humans are exclusive against magicians, but it doesn't mean they don't like magicians at all. They are born with no magical talent but therefore want a world without magicians, but they are not looking to exterminate them.
What they want is a world where magicians and non-magicians live apart. Speaking of polar theory, it would suffice to have a city just for non-magicians where magicians don't unnecessarily interfere, and I am not looking to abolish magicians from the world.
But the deputy commander mistakenly thought that people in industrial cities wanted to abolish magicians from the world. More importantly, humans in industrial cities want to abolish the demon kings. Neither the Demon King's Army nor the Revolutionary Army are very different in terms of magicians, but the Deputy Commander doesn't seem to think so.
And there's no way they're gonna miss this opportunity.
"Is that them?
"Oh. There's no way the Adventurers Union is sitting around in a situation where the Revolutionary Army is teething head-on against the Demon King Army. They should also show movement with the birth of a new Great Demon King. If we use this as an opportunity to form an alliance between the Revolutionary Army and the Adventurers' Union, we are not enemies, such as the Demon King's Army."
"Is that possible..."
It would be impossible to say if it were possible or impossible.
The Adventurers Union lists an anti-demon king, but acknowledges the need for a demon king system itself. The ideals set forth by the anti-demon kings are adventurer life that is not interfered with by demon kings, not an adventurer system without demon kings.
But here again, the Deputy Commander was unconsciously interpreting the ideals of the Adventurers' Union to their advantage. Even if it's impossible to think calmly, when faced with despair, humans want to live up to their ideals.
That's exactly what the current Deputy Commander was. And unconsciously begins to seek out the ideal situation that has emerged in front of us the face of the revolutionary army, which is also facing despair.
Adventurers union adventurers to human beings in industrial cities as well as revolutionary armies. If these faces come together, it's not my dream to rescue my fellow Demon King Army detainees and disintegrate the Demon King system at once.
The light rises on the faces that had a dark look on them.
"Surely if these three forces gather, even the Demon King's army will struggle."
"You idiot. Instead of a struggle, we can break the Demon King system all at once."
"Oh. I've never seen a dream team like this before."
"The history of Dacrea will change."
It is a revolutionary army that has now become a group of only about a hundred people, but there is still a chance of life and death. Then we'll have to move to make sure we get that chance.
The diminishing sense of purpose darkens in the heart of the revolutionary army.
"We only have action if we decide on a policy. Start by helping the wounded, while those with free hands move toward the alliance. The Revolutionary Army will be present at the moment when history changes."
Revolutionary armies snorting forcefully at the words of the Deputy Commander. But no matter how things turned out, they couldn't have created the ideal situation or anything.
