Chapter 164: Little Little Girl
Xiao Yu’s eyes widened. "Hurry up and pinch her!"
Stone reached out and gave Hua Ping’s arm a light pinch.
Xiao Yu shouted, "Put some muscle into it! Did you skip dinner or something?"
Stone steeled himself and gave Hua Ping a vicious pinch.
Hua Ping grunted. Xiao Yu quickly fixed his gaze on her and saw her eyelashes flutter a few times, but she still didn’t wake up.
"Excellent!" Xiao Yu cried out.
Stone flinched in fright and shot a look at Hua Ping.
Xiao Yu slapped a hand on Stone’s shoulder. "Let’s go—"
Stone looked like he was about to cry. "We’re leaving now?"
"Young Master Heir, it’s only 7 p.m. Her family probably isn’t asleep yet."
Xiao Yu snorted. "That’s the point. We’re going while they’re still awake so we can figure out which room that girl is in. Otherwise, if we search room by room, we’ll be at it until dawn, won’t we?"
Stone’s face was a mask of worry, but he reverted to his usual flattery. "Young Master Heir, you are wise. In that case, if we’re really going, shouldn’t we change into some night clothes?"
Xiao Yu looked at him. "And where would I get something like that?"
Stone shook his head. ’You’ve never been one for burglaries, so of course you don’t have the gear for it.’
"Then what are we waiting for? Let’s go!" Xiao Yu strode out of the study.
Stone followed reluctantly, a miserable look on his face.
Each on a swift horse, the two rode to the city gate, which was already closed. Stone presented a token, and the guards opened it. "My master will be coming back soon," Stone instructed. "Be on your toes and open the gate the moment we call."
The guards agreed with obsequious nods and bows. Xiao Yu cracked his whip, and the two horses galloped away.
In less than fifteen minutes, their swift horses brought them to the farmstead.
They dismounted at a distance, tethered their horses to a tree, and then used their Qinggong to sneak toward the courtyard of Gu Fei’s family.
Gu Fei had just finished her task of splitting threads and was now lying in bed, reading a storybook.
She had bought it in secret earlier today. She was sick of reading about ’The Overbearing CEO Fell for Me’ in her dimensional space. Since she was here, she had to keep up with the times and see how scholars and young ladies fell in love.
’It might come in handy later.’
She propped the book on her pillow, rested her chin in her hands, and leisurely swung her legs.
Xiao Yu and Stone had already snuck into the back courtyard. They leaped onto the wall and landed lightly.
They saw a silhouette projected on the window of the eastern main room, followed by a woman’s voice. "Still reading? Hurry up, wash your feet, and go to bed. Look how late it is!"
A moment later, a man’s voice said, "Hiss—that’s hot! Add some cold water."
"That must be her parents!" Xiao Yu shook his head. He saw the adjacent side room was dark and, after listening carefully, heard no sound. He turned and crept toward the other side, past the main hall. He saw a light on in the western main room and was just about to poke a hole in the window to peek inside when he heard a soft singing from within.
"Little young lady, up in the morning, holding her pants, off to the latrine~~~. The latrine is occupied, nothing she can do, so she just has to poop, right in her pants~~~—"
Hearing these shocking, beastly lyrics, Xiao Yu froze for a second. His eyes went wide as saucers as he bit his lip hard.
A glance at Stone showed he wasn’t faring much better. He had his hand clamped over his mouth, his shoulders shaking uncontrollably.
The two of them, crouched beneath the window, were struggling mightily to hold in their laughter.
Inside, Gu Fei began her brainwashing loop, starting the second verse. "Little young lady—"
Xiao Yu quickly signaled to Stone. They retreated to the wall, gathered their energy, and leaped out of the courtyard.
They ran like mad until they were a safe distance away, and only then did they let loose, bursting into raucous laughter.
