Farming in a Parallel World and Becoming a God

"I don’t know either... I suddenly feel so sleepy, so exhausted... I just want to sleep..." Taharissi’s thoughts turned unbearably murky, an irresistible drowsiness was crashing down on her.

"You’re not allowed to sleep!" The Succubus Manipulator’s eyes burst into dazzling light, like two sharp blades shooting toward Taharissi. "Wake up!"

"Ah..." Taharissi let out a short, sharp scream; she felt her Soul hammered hard by someone, the pain unbearable.

The Succubus Manipulator had turned her Charming Gaze into a kind of Psychic Attack, inflicting psychic damage on her target.

It had to be admitted, it was indeed very handy.

The intense pain washed away most of Taharissi’s drowsiness; her thoughts became active again, and she immediately sensed something was wrong. Her three streams of Divine Nature Force instantly began to circulate, sweeping through her entire body, as she shouted loudly, "Get out of my body!"

Whoosh!

A searing Flame surged out from within Taharissi, sweeping over everything around her. Then the surrounding space began to ripple and distort, turning semi-transparent. The two of them seemed to see a volcano—a volcano blazing fiercely, piled high with countless Skeleton Remains.

The Skeleton Volcano went into an eruptive state the very next second; innumerable Flames spewed from within, merging into a single Fire Pillar that shot straight into the sky.

Originally, there had been no intersection between the two sides at all, but the path of that Fire Pillar seemed to be adjusting without cease.

More precisely, the positions of both parties were constantly shifting.

That Skeleton Flame Mountain shifted from a distant view to a close-up, from in front of them to beneath their feet; the sky-piercing Flames naturally came roaring toward them.

Just as the Fire Pillar was about to slam into them, an invisible barrier coiled around Taharissi and the others, keeping that Flame outside.

"You’ve been locked onto. Someone tried to Attack you from the Dream just now. After failing, they used you as a spatial coordinate, preparing to Teleport over!"

"Fortunately, this is the Shadow Sky. Lord Grazte has already forbidden any form of Teleportation!"

Both Taharissi and Marreta’s faces shifted several times; they had already reacted and understood what was going on, their shock mixed with a few shades of relief.

"How is this possible?"

The very next second, that relief froze on their faces and turned into sheer incredulity.

Another invisible force stretched out from within the Fire Pillar, gently scratching at the unseen barrier, immediately producing the crisp sound of a glass cutter scraping across glass.

The Fire Pillar that had previously been unable to find a way in instantly broke through the invisible barrier, appeared around them, and then several figures stepped out from within.

"Flame of Revenge!"

"Queen of the Succubi!"

Taharissi and Marreta cried out simultaneously, recognizing their identities.

"Correct, but no reward." The Queen of the Succubi giggled as she lunged toward the Succubus Manipulator. "Marreta, long time no see. I told you before, Grazte can only protect you for a while, not for a lifetime. Sooner or later, I’d come knocking to settle the score! Now the time has come!"

The Fine Gold Execution Whip in her hand lashed down toward the Succubus Manipulator, covering her head and face.

As the Succubus Manipulator retreated at high speed, her hands were also flying, forming new Dharma Seals. This time she no longer connected to the Hall of Calculation, but directly summoned the Demon Contract Bookshelf into being. The Demon Contracts upon it all flared with blinding light, and one creature after another crawled out from within.

Though these creatures differed greatly in appearance, they shared one trait: all of them were exceedingly powerful and utterly loyal to the Succubus Manipulator, fearlessly interposing themselves between her and danger.

This was the source of her title; she was famed for her mastery of manipulation, and her Combat style was no exception.

This method of control through Soul Contracts was far stronger than simple Charm.

The targets that could be controlled by Charm were limited, while the control granted by Soul Contracts was limitless. As long as she possessed enough Soul Contracts, she could summon without restriction.

And here in the Hall of Calculation, the last thing they lacked was Soul Contracts.

Only now did the Succubus Manipulator respond with a cold sneer: "If the Queen of the Succubi’s true body had personally descended, I’d still have three parts fear. But you, just a little Incarnation, what right do you have to yap at me? When I was roaming the Bottomless Abyss, you were still just a pile of unconscious Divine Nature Force."

"You are mine!" The Queen of the Succubi’s eyes flared with light, enveloping a Six-armed Snake Demon.

The Six-armed Snake Demon, who had been baring fangs and brandishing claws at her, instantly turned traitor, wheeling around and charging at the Succubus Manipulator. Its six differently shaped weapons whirled madly, like a storm of steel. The High-level Berserker Demons rushing at it head-on was turned into a gourd of blood on the spot, his entire body covered in horrific wounds.

The High-level Berserker Demons roared again and again, his massive club spinning like a cartwheel, yet he couldn’t even graze the edge of his opponent.

Although the other’s Short-Distance Teleportation was restricted, its agility was still far beyond his. The long, narrow serpentine body slithered across the ground, its position shifting unpredictably—one moment on the left, the next on the right.

The Six-armed Snake Demon was famed as the Bottomless Abyssal’s undefeated master of infantry Combat for a reason. They were the finest Infantry Commanders; wherever they appeared, they carved a path of invincibility, leaving rivers of blood in their wake.

Clatter, clatter...

Under the Succubus Manipulator’s control, a new Demon Contract Bookshelf was Teleported in. The Demon Scrolls upon it fluttered wildly, and with a burst of blinding Magic Aura, another Six-armed Snake Demon leapt out.

Marreta pointed at the Six-armed Snake Demon that had been Charmed and said, "Tie him up!"

In fact, she had another way to deal with that Charmed Six-armed Snake Demon.

All the Demons here had been summoned by her through Soul Contracts. As long as she canceled the summon, she could forcibly send the target back.

But doing so would only treat the symptoms, not the root.

The Queen of the Succubi could simply use her own Charm Ability to control another Demon.

It was this method of trading pieces that was the effective way to deal with a Succubi.
