The demon, being scattered by Li Ang and Farina, fled towards the crumbling remains of Hedaya’s body, but its speed was slowed by the battle cry.
The maiden raised the warhammer, instantly drawing and converging all the flames within the Star Palace. She gripped the warhammer as if holding onto all the power Hedaya left behind; a Star Soul’s overwhelming fury accumulated in pain.
The blood in her eyes burned even fiercer, and with a low growl from her throat, the armored maiden, under the propulsion of a circle of explosive flame rings, surged forward. Nearly all the flames in the Star Palace were absorbed by the warhammer, rendering the previously magma-flowing underworld momentarily dark and lightless, with only a faint glow emitted by the elements surrounding the magical individuals.
The Flame Hammer carved a bright arc in the darkness, striking towards the demon’s remains.
The residual flames within the Star Palace were compressed to the extreme by Zoe, who inherited their master’s power. At the moment of the warhammer’s shattering strike, it was as if the first spark of creation burst forth from chaos, as fiery blooms blossomed together at the point of impact.
The blinding firelight lasted several seconds, and when it faded, the majority of the demon’s remnants were demolished by the maiden.
Zoe panted heavily, withdrawing from her transformed state.
Having seen Li Ang’s severed arm, she released all the Molten Mountain Star Soul’s power she could control. That single strike’s power even surpassed the regular Tier 7 standard of the Flaming Bull Form.
The remaining part of the demon merged with the melted remnant of Hedaya seeping into the ground, sinking into the island’s depths.
"Zoe, we need to return to the surface."
