Former General Is Undead Knight

Lesson 32 Judgment ①

By the time Simon was defeated by "The Rose of the Subworld," Lambert had broken into a hidden passage more than the basement of the cathedral.

Lambert runs through a hidden passage, exploring signs that seem to belong to people anyway.

The weight of the Demonic Gold "Organ" armor strikes the stone floor.

In a narrow passage, he was echoing metal sounds without hesitation.

It blocked Lambert's path and five figures appeared.

Everyone is wearing a black coat and wearing it deeply to hide their faces.

"Who is it? Eight Wise Men acting apart from" The Rose of the Subworld "? I heard there was a big man in armor..."

The leading man asks, vigilantly.

Lambert unloaded the great sword and slapped the floor.

The stone floor was easily crushed and the tip of the great sword buried.

Five people tremble on their shoulders and swallow their spit.

"Raw hatred, but not one to give to the 'whistling demon'. I'm here to destroy you."

"You're a church dog! Make that noise, you alertless bastard! Let's do it!

Fitted with the man's signal, the remaining four also moved out at the same time.

I don't mean to be alert.

Lambert was so nil that he shook the sword with great luxury.

If his gigantic sword and long arms are fully utilized, the reach will be overwhelming.

With just one swing, scratches entered the walls on both sides of the large aisle.

"Hear the noise, and slay him that cometh near. Those who escape, go after them and slaughter them."

All five stop on their feet and stand flaunted on the spot.

"I ran into people just like you earlier. But not very much, but I didn't think he lived the battle as a living thing. If you want to leave, just leave. But... if you stand before me only as a warrior, I will not forgive you."

The five put their strength into their arms, which were drooling without power, and put their weapons back together.

"Right..."

Lambert tilted his helmet slightly down, then set up a great sword.

Five of them are slaughtered into Rambal at once.

Lambert waved his sword in the same orbit as earlier.

There was blood around.

Lambert runs through the underground aisle, defiling his armor with returning blood.

Finally, Lambert sensed a massive collection of mana on the road ahead.

Is the number about thirty?

There was no doubt that something was going on.

When Lambert arrived, there was fighting in the aisle.

Nevertheless, victory and defeat were almost never already there.

Two heretical Inquisition monk-like figures are fighting to shelter one old man.

Around them were more than twenty men in black coats armed.

The two monks had already been bloodstained and, to one end, their arms had been dropped.

At the foot of the aisle were scattered bodies of more than twenty black coats.

The monks seemed to have fought well too, but before the difference in numbers, it seemed that it was really that moment now that they were finally about to lose.

"Simon, Simon! Come back soon! Oh! What are you doing! We can't die in here yet! Simon, get back here now! In your men, it still didn't work! That's why I pushed you to make sure you were okay with these guys!

The old man was crying in the back of the aisle.

He was so full of what he had fallen into that he didn't seem to have noticed Lambert's appearance yet.

Lambert had never seen the face in person.

However, Lambert was aware of the luxurious costume, which was stacked with the remarkable eagle nose, large jaw and colorful cloth of an elderly man.

"Oh well... you are Cardinal Zebedai"

That's what Lambert cried out in the voice he used to go through.

Pay off the men in the black coat who are slashing them, shaking their arms vigorously.

No matter how many large adults hang at the same time, Lambert's rigid arms will not be frightened.

As well as the baby, it is easily slammed against the wall.

The person does not stop walking, lightly shrinking the distance to Cardinal Zebedai.

Soon he realizes that the surrounding black coats are not the only ones who have appeared, and he starts to be vigilant.

However, because all those who had been slashed had been easily ejected, they could not move, and were unable to move as if they had frozen on the spot with their blades pointed at him.

Cardinal Zebedai, who was in distress and confused, also understood that something appeared that was just not his enemy.

"Oh, what are you! Wow, are you here to help us?

Cardinal Zebedai cries out to Lambert like that.

"... more important business than that. I originally took to Heinstier, the holy capital, for that reason."

"Hey, what? Is there anything more important than my life in this situation! Quickly, help this man! I don't know where, but... do you have that power? Now, kill all these rebels!

Cardinal Zebedai appeals desperately.

But Lambert stopped walking where he kept a constant distance from him.

Cardinal Zebedai sees it and distorts his face like a wrath.

"Hey, what! Money? You want money? Then I'll give you whatever you want! Oh, yes, if this commotion calms down, we have to re-establish the heretical Inquisition! If it were you, the problem would be pretty good! I'm gonna make you one of my men! I'll give you as much money and honor as you want!

"Honor or, it's got nothing to do with me."

Lambert groans small to his self-derision, slowly looking at Cardinal Zebedai, from the front.

Cardinal Zebedai was overwhelmed by his gaze.

"... I visited the land to identify you, Zebedai.

"Hey, what? You think I'm gonna identify this guy?

"That's right. Whether you, and your heretical Inquisition, are a necessity for this Kingdom of Legions and for the people. I came to make sure of that."
