Former General Is Undead Knight

Lesson 31: No Neck Witch Doma ⑤

Rumbling down the aisle, Lambert tries to poke Charles with him on his shoulder.

"Mm, I can't, I can't keep up with the collapse!

When Charles zeroed his sobs, Lambert lifted her wide.

"What..."

"Hold on to your passivity."

Lambert threw Charles forward.

Suddenly, Charles didn't have long to scream.

Beautifully diving through the debris, Charles' luxurious body was slammed to the floor off the aisle.

"Ugh!

Jump a little, and Charles wakes up physically as he curls.

"Hey, hey... Lambert, even though there was no other way to do it, isn't it too violent? Atashi, for once, you're a countess."

It was at the same time that Charles looked back behind him and the passage he had dived through made a noise and collapsed.

The exit of the aisle is filled with rubble and goes.

"Lies...... La, Lambert?

With Charles's trembling voice, he calls out to the buried passage.

There is no voice to return.

Only slightly, her call echoed.

The fact stuck reality in Charles.

"Oh no..."

When she stood up and walked into the spot, the debris was blown and Lambert's figure dew.

Charles stared at Lambert with his eyes round as he sat down on the spot.

"Oh, you've come out so well..."

"My armor is the best of the Warmirian continents, given to me by my former lord. Not to that extent."

"It's not armor, you're more strange..."

"It was a little dangerous. If the passage was long, he might have buried it and been unable to move. It was a more dangerous bet than I thought, but I was lucky."

"Is it a matter of luck...?

Charles tilts his neck.

"A, you, who are you really? The... royal sent in for a Dark City investigation, was it a secret weapon Risu?

"The royal family was just out of touch a while ago.... but I still swear allegiance."

"No, I knew I was that kind of guy."

Lambert looks around the room.

There are cages and glass tubes lining the perimeter.

Inside were undead and corpses stitched to strange shapes.

The groans of the undead are always ringing.

Charles seems to have already paralyzed his senses because of this backstage, and besides narrowing his eyes and looking around him, he didn't see how he would react to the undead.

"You don't look like Doma. He's supposed to be seriously ill, too, but he may have let his men undead him. I'll be right after you. You can't come this far and let them get away with it. He's got a lot to ask."

Lambert also follows Charles' gaze and turns to Doma's subjects.

"... I don't see how Mithril was used."

Lambert was small and nil.

Lambert's attention was originally focused on Count Perciris' territory because of a strange move to buy and collect Mithril, a magic silver that was close to the King's Capital and was an advanced alchemy ingredient.

Demonic silver "Mithril" is mainly used for weapons and weapons.

There was no doubt that there was a dark purpose behind it, too, from hiding its identity via the Dark City on the purchase route of the Demonic Silver "Mithril".

That's what Lambert thought it was Doma who did it.

This underground arena is also suitable for concealing weapons.

But if you actually step in, all that comes out is undead, and you can't find it anywhere, such as the Demonic Silver Mithril.

"What, were you making a mistake? Someone moving apart from Doma was lurking in this dark city?

But no matter how much Lambert fished the armed groups in the Dark City, what came out was about what suggested Doma.

If you were to build a massive weapon but still hide its identity, you would have had more organization and influence than Doma or Doma.

It was very inconceivable, such as the still lurking of a large organization in this dark city hiding any signs of it without even giving a single scale.

"... we may not have enough information yet. I can't let Doma get away with it."

As he tried to get out of the room, Charles shook his body frightened and stopped his legs.

"What's up, Charles? If my legs are crushed, I'll take care of them again..."

"Now... I feel called..."

Charles flutters and heads to the locked cage of the undead.

Charles looks softly closer to the whole undead in the cage.

The undead had bright red skin with three stuck heads.

The two heads are not moving.

Perhaps death manipulation was interrupted due to some factor, or it could not be moved because there was a breakdown in death manipulation.

It was like an undead built entirely for research purposes, not for combat purposes.

The body, which is not dressed in anything, is engraved with a narrow and magical ceremony, which makes you feel the madness of Doma.

Her legs were untipped from her thighs, and her belly and arms were as thin and faded as bones.

The only head in motion is staring at Charles and repeating the same words, no matter what.

"Ah, Lulu... Gia, Lulu... Ya, Ulu..."

It was a creepy voice that didn't seem human, but it did resemble Charles' name.

"Carmela, are...?

Leaks like Charles squeaks.

The reason Charles is after The Witch Without a Neck was because he's looking for his best friend, Carmela, who went missing in a dark city.

The best friend was apparently one of the heads of the undead in front of him.

Charles meets the undead, fluttering close to be sucked by his eyes.

Carmela-like undead arms pass between the iron lattices as Charles touches the undead's iron lattices.

Obviously, arms longer than those of man had easily reached Charles' neck.

"Anatamo, Kochnikite"

Lambert slashed every cage undead body.

Her body fluids flew around and her body swayed and her head fell to the ground.

"... oh..."

Charles poked his knee on the spot and zeroed tears from his eyes with a faceless expression.

"... that wasn't your best friend anymore. Sorry, but there's no time to stop. I'll take your revenge, let's go."
