Former General Is Undead Knight

Lesson 21: Impersonable Malice (8)

Lambert crossed the Nightmare and ran through the battlefield.

We decided there was no chance of winning while we were still fighting Sieg.

Two hundred years ago, it was considered foolish for a swordsman to challenge his opponent, a mage well prepared and environmentally prepared, on his own.

It was too reckless to stand alone against a sorcerer opponent who could use the undead and the high spirits to make up for the trouble he liked.

Until now, Lambert had chosen to fight alone because few people in modern times could fight shoulder to shoulder.

Fortunately, until now, we still managed to win.

But in fighting Zeke, I was finally feeling the limit.

The only way to defeat Zeke is if Lambert also makes up for the hassle or peels the opponent from where he's ready.

However, Lambert's aim was to defeat Siege to contain the spread of damage and head for the crusade of "The Giant of Demonic Silver" Mithrills ".

Siege's fangs weren't what we figured out how much damage would be done if they were genuinely directed from Lambert to the Kingdom soldiers and the general public.

Besides, I knew that even if Lambert could escape from Siege, he would just be ahead of the "Giants of Demonic Silver" Mithrill.

Therefore, the measure of directing Siege to the point where the number of puppets was thin was unrealistic.

Inevitably, the thought was limited to another way, to those who compensated for the hassle.

The speed of the nightmare had allowed me to peel the zeek off.

In the meantime, we needed to muster troops and thoroughly reduce Siege's puppets.

As things stand, Lambert was unable to break through Siege's robust formations.

Beating is after reducing the puppet and diminishing the protection.

It was a bet if I could make it to "The Giant of Demonic Silver" Mithrills "because it would get so far away, but things wouldn't get better if I didn't defeat Sieg first.

As Lambert was on the move, he saw a unit of kingdom soldiers slaughtering and killing the general public who had turned him into a puppet.

The number was eleven.

Zeke's undead leaves his original self behind.

I am fighting relentlessly against a people who are appealing to me to help me diligently.

In this time of peace, the troops who could take that ruthless choice on this occasion were invaluable.

Even Ethiopian, the commander-in-chief, hesitated not to kill his men who became puppets.

Lambert drove Nightmare to them.

We needed to identify them first.

In this day and age, we can hang people who have been made undead.

I wish I were a swordsman of faith, but I have trouble being just a despicable man.

"Don't loosen your hands! It's too late for these people! Hurry up, or the king will fall! We're the only ones who can fight!

The head of the unit was shouting out loud.

He was Rapier in the helmet of Mithril, the exposed demonic silver of his mouth, and a familiar figure.

Lambert waved his sword as he passed by, wrapping up three puppets engaged with them and slaughtering them.

Apparently they cleaned up the other puppets that were on this scene, and that was the last three.

Nightmare flipped on the spot, stopping on the earth with his feet.

The advent of Lambert caused vigilance to run on the spot.

It wasn't strange to be judged by the circumstances to have come to lend a hand, but the impact of the headless nightmare's appearance was too great anyway.

There was also fear for the mighty power that overthrew the puppets that made the kingdom's swordsmen struggle.

"Oh, you're new! You monster!"

The troop leader's man points Rapier at the tip to Lambert.

Then, as I recall, I trembled and shook my body.

"What if a swordsman in armor face-to-face in Viscount Lagar's territory...?

The captain's man, Kreutz, zeroed in.

He was a kingdom soldier who fought with Lambert in the territory of Viscount Lagard.

Kreutz has a past in which a brutal sorcerer killed his family, and he's been investigating and pursuing the magic magic of that hand ever since.

In addition, he had seen scattered hell when he infiltrated the underground laboratory in Tethomburg with Lambert.

Therefore he had knowledge and experience and was able to point a blade at Siege's malice.

He was a trustworthy opponent.

"Long time no see, Kreutz"

Lambert descends Nightmare.

Tensions among the soldiers on the spot also eased over the state of Lambert and Kreutz.

"Well, the horse, what the hell... I didn't know such a monster would miss people..."

Lambert grabbed his helmet, took it off and showed it.

The skull wrapped around the mana dew, and the vigilance intensified on the spot again.

"Hey, what's that look like! I didn't know you were undead, too!

Kreutz points Rapier at Lambert.

But Rapier was trembling.

Kreutz knew the overwhelming power of Lambert, and above all there was a threat before his releasing temper of life.

"Listen, my name is Lambert Dracroix. He was once one of the four demons who led the Kingdom of Legions during the War of the Unity of the Eight Kingdoms, a great sinner who lost his life at the end of which he was suspected of rebellion".

"La, Lambert said...?

"After two hundred years, I came back to this kingdom. In this country where everything has become a thing of the past, I was sending a strange Latter-day Tan. As I continued my journey looking at the present day of the kingdom, I was haunted by it as to when I would serve untrained and to die in the true sense"

Lambert returns the Great Sword to the sheath.

Kreutz and the others had lowered their weapons, which they stood naturally in front of Lambert's unleashed aura, and had listened to his utterances.

"I finally know the answer to that. Now. Today, I gave guidance to both the ghosts who became the men of history, and I came back to defend this king's capital. I defeat the 'whistle-blowing demon', the fruit of the remnants of the Kingdom of Lauraul, and open this kingdom above the remnants of the War of the Unification of the Eight Kingdoms. Both pathetic ghosts who have misjudged death by foreign law may want it."

It was originally an impossible declaration.

I don't even deserve the consideration of believing.

He said he was a legendary general who led the war two hundred years ago and was the last to be assassinated.

But the swordsmanship of his divine realm had made Aura, who dwelt only in the righteous, true to his self-proclaimed name, which only seemed to be that bullshit.

"Hey, why, fight for the kingdom...? Lambert says he lost his life by pointing a blade at the kingdom..."

"Now I don't care about such things as when I die. Now, on this occasion, the kingdom is about to be taken over by the wicked by force. What's more important than that, the story of two hundred years ago?

Before Lambert's words, Kreutz shut up.

"On my own, I'm no match for discussing Sieg, the magician of the Kingdom of Lauraul. He can freely manipulate the undead under his own perception like his own hands and feet. I'm overwhelmed."

Lambert continues his words with his helmet on.

"After reducing his undead, I want them to distract their undead and make a gap in Sieg. Then I also want a hand in stopping that 'Demonic Silver' Mithrill Giant '. Can you do that, Kreutz?

"Wow, can we do that...? Legendary Swordsmen help defeat enemies they never had..."

"I'm not the one to judge that. You guys."

Kreutz breathed and turned to his men.

"K, Master Kreutz...... let's do it! Honestly, I'm not following my head either...... But as it is, the king's capital is over!

To his men's words, Kreutz nodded small.

"Wow, okay...... Armored Swordsman, no, it's Lambert! If you are a god of war who once led the Kingdom of Legions to victory in the War of the Eight Kingdoms, now lead us!
