Chapter 1197 - 554: The Second Troublemaker
"Blood Seeker!"
"Not that Laisa, but her chest is also pretty big!"
"The previous azure long hair and ice magic that froze Kasy, matched with the characteristics of Sylvia Frostbloom, the vice commander of the Marshall’s Ice Curtain Mage Group."
"Coming up here with such clumsy lies to disassociate the Whisper Sect from the Marshall Family, could it be that she’s the lover of that bitch Bafi? Or is there another hidden story?"
"This woman seems extremely strong, but no matter what, she must be..."
"Stop her!"
Double Leaf first raised her hand and threw a lightning-filled storm spell, "Gale Thunder Cage," toward Jiawen not far in front of her, then coldly ordered through amplification magic, "Even if you have to sacrifice your lives, stop this woman at all costs, and don’t let any of the assassins escape!"
This was undoubtedly an unreasonable command. After all, the elites that were originally by her side were already struggling to suppress those high-level Whisper Cultists who could ignore a cut throat. Adding on a Sylvia Frostbloom who stopped hiding her strength and started to use the power of Blood Seeker, what could possibly stop them?
The answer was, as Double Leaf had said, to stop her with their lives!
"This way is barred, gentlemen."
The middle-aged dwarf, with scarce hair on his head, shouted lightly, withstood the fierce attacks of three heretics with his twin shields, then leapt on one leg and launched himself toward a Berserker from the Slave Capturing Group not far away, sending his right leg’s swollen, comical knee pad spinning out, knocking the latter to the ground with a crash.
Pfff!!
A sharp dagger stabbed into his abdomen. The attacker, a human female Thief with considerable skill in Stealth, a former member of the Former Mercury Guards and now part of the Marshall Family Slave Capturing Group, had been hovering on the battlefield waiting for an opportunity, and with just one strike, she severely injured the dwarf.
"Apologies, gentlemen, and ladies."
The Vanguard captain of the Iron Gate Team, Bright Clamp • Paunch-paint, with a pale face, managed a grin, leapt up and used a tricky angled headbutt to smash into the female Thief’s chest, sending her tumbling back, out of breath, and chuckled dumbly, "Feels like I hit the jackpot."
A flash of Cold Light, and one of the heretics Bright Clamp had repelled with his shield suddenly staggered and sat on the ground. A female dwarf assassin from the Crystal Wolf Sharp Claw Flag Team emerged from the dust, sneered at Bright Clamp, "You baldie are quite something, aren’t you? Half an hour ago you said you fell in love with me at first sight and now you’re leaping up to bite an enemy’s chest."
"Which eye of yours saw me ’biting’ her chest!" Bright Clamp was startled, flinging his shield at the enemies frantically breaking through nearby, while he railed indignantly, "Are you suggesting I just stand there and get repeatedly stabbed without resisting... Dodge!!"
"Ah... ugh!"
The female assassin of the Crystal Wolf Family, who was about to re-enter Stealth with a grimace, hesitated, and then was sent flying by a massive, heavy punch. She spat out a mouthful of fresh blood while in mid-air and was already unconscious when she hit the ground.
"My body is impregnable, my power is unstoppable!!"
The heretic who had just had his Achilles tendon severed sneered as he withdrew his fist, then furiously pounced on the completely defenseless female dwarf assassin. Even though blood was continuously flowing from his ankle wound, such a potentially crippling injury didn’t affect his movements at all, not hindering his mobility, and certainly not his killing!
The next second, with the long neighing of warhorses, a muscular man on a horse charged out, his war hammer swirling with Fighting Spirit, directly smashing the heretic about to finish off the job.
He was a knight from the Baroka Rock Mountain Knight Regiment Assault Team. His originally heavy and magnificent War Armor was now tattered, and besides the war hammer of unknown origin in his hand, his usual Riding Spear and Heavy Sword were all gone. A long gash on his forehead was bleeding profusely and had dyed half of his face red, making this already unsightly Orc knight look even more ferocious.
And his warhorse, after that charge, staggered and collapsed on the ground, dying in moments.
"Your attack is weak and ineffective! Your footsteps are bulky and sluggish!"
The heretic, who was hit square on and had been flung away, sprung up as if nothing had happened and launched a fierce attack on the knight who had returned to the ground.
But after hearing the heretic’s remark "Your footsteps are bulky and sluggish," the knight’s legs immediately felt heavy, nearly collapsing on the spot.
"If it wasn’t for such despicable dark arts, a piece of trash like you would have been killed by me a hundred times over!"
The Orc knight, who had been punched through the chest, roared angrily and then sneered as he lifted both hands to grab the heretic’s head from both sides, saying intermittently as he bled, "But even if... you can use dark arts... I can still kill... kill you bastard once!"
Upon realizing he couldn’t withdraw his arms, the heretic sensed something was wrong, and as he heard the knight’s last words, struggled desperately backward, bellowing, "Your power..."
Crack!!
Along with a crisp ’crack,’ the heretic’s neck was twisted and he finally stopped struggling, his eyes wide open as he fell to the blood-soaked ground.
A second later, the Orc knight also stopped breathing while maintaining that valiant pose of slaying the enemy.
