Frenzy Troll

Utgart [1]

Jotunheim, the land of giants, has had uninvited visitors.

The uninvited were Asgardian gods and their men. Loki the wolf's father and Thor the Thunder and his follower, Tealpee.

The king of Jotunheim, that is, Utgardaloki, has decided to deal with these uninvited guests instead of ignoring them.

The transformed Utgardalocki follows the journey of three uninvited guests, harassing them for as long as he can, and finally welcomes them to his fortress in Utgard.

Then I asked the three of them for a battle, but they were not defeated incredibly by this hideous Giant King, but by the great three.

Thialphi, the acolyte of thunder, was able to run faster than anyone else. Like a flash of light.

However, the Giant King lost the running battle to his underlings.

Loki the God of Fire was able to eat faster than anyone else. Like a flame that devours everything.

But Loki was also helplessly defeated in a game of eating with a giant.

Finally, the thunder god Thor had three battles, all three of which were defeated.

Thor did not empty the cup the Giant King gave him, lifted only a little of the Giant's Cat, and knelt on one knee, unable to win a battle with a Giant Old Woman.

The three great men for this humble achievement were frustrated. Utgardaloki, the giant king, told me to treat these losers with the utmost care.

There's no reason to be so disappointed. All that battle was just a fantasy he had created.

The god Heimdall, facing Roland, appears to be just a giant man.

It was remarkable that one of the bowls was bigger than Lollang. However, there were no other divine features.

I just wore a thick hat and coat, and there was nothing magical or shiny.

Seeing the illustration and the other, Roland was embarrassed. Are you sure it's Heimdall? Did Heimdall leave for business for a moment, and that man in front of him is the gatekeeper?

You can't make a mistake. Roland, the warrior of Valhalla, should know who the god Heimdall is.

It was Heimdall who opened his mouth in a nervous state.

“Oh, Roland. I heard you came all the way here, but I never thought I'd see you again. It's so much better than me, leading so many troops, carrying a horn like this everyday. ”

Even his voice is ordinary. I can't feel anyone sacred.

But as Heimdall speaks, Roland gladly bows his head.

“I didn't expect to see you here, Heimdall · · · · · · ·”

Heimdall gives a small warning.

“Don't say my name here. I'm afraid Giants might overhear us. I'm standing here on behalf of the gatekeeper who guarded this place. Without revealing to the giants who the new gatekeeper is. ”

At that, Roland is once again confused. Somehow, Heimdall was quite respectful of his attitude towards himself. Should I adjust this tone?

What was I supposed to do with him? I was so anxious. It was as if God was standing in front of him. I met Odin a lot, but he was out of his mind.

At least Roland's face remained steady. The other commanders I brought with me were exhausted, so they had nothing to do with it, but Lollan had to be dealt with. It was natural.

“Why did you hide your identity? Isn't there a mission to take care of Sanctuary? ”

Heimdall answers Roland's question.

“There have been reports of Loki wandering around in front of Utgard. Not Rocky, the giant in Utgart, but Rocky, Laufey's son. Asgard considers this a danger to Loki's monsters and Frostgardians. I've been monitoring the fortress of Utgart from afar with magic and a throne, but now I feel the need to keep it at bay. I thought I'd be the perfect watcher. I've been sent this far.”

Heimdall's words were detailed and gentle. One of the commanders, who felt familiar with the speech, took courage and spoke up.

“I give you my word that this meeting will be an honor for the generations to come, and this humble thing dare to ask · · · · · ·”

Heimdall's voice echoes. Without even looking at the commander who was about to speak to him.

“If you know my humble fountain, you should shut up. Why? ”

The voice rings, and the eardrums twist violently. The commanders in question, as well as the other commanders, sat in silence.

The groaning. Roland looks uneasy at the painful looks of the commanders.

Not good. The disrespected commander was the second most heavily armed and important to the artillery. If you lose the will of the temple because you are so devastated by God · · · · · · ·.

Roland whispers as he raises the commander to his feet.

“Tell me if you have any questions. I'll ask for it. ”

That said, the commander muttered to Lollan what he wanted to say. Scared that the voice might reach Heimdahl.

After hearing all that, I told Heimdall about it.

“We are facing a battle against the fortress of Utgard. I don't think it's going to be easy. Can the gods of Heimdall help you in that temple? ”

Heimdall frowns at whether the real questioner was unworthy of being merely a human commander. Then he opens his mouth, staring into the air, without even looking at Rolando and his commanders.

“No. ”

Roland looks at the commander and asks Heimdall again.

“Why?”

“Because of the peace treaty between Utgard and Asgard. No god should set foot in Utgard, according to the terms of the agreement that stipulates that we shall not trespass against each other. If I do not set foot in the Giants' lands and intervene in battle, the peace treaty will be broken and the war will begin. As long as it's a deal to be broken soon, it can't be broken. ”

“If so, you are · · · · · · · ·"

“I will watch. The progress of combat. I will lead the Valkyrie into the hands of those who fought bravely with my own eyes. · · · · · · · · That's the end of it. Now go. It's been so long since I've seen you. Even those foolish giants will notice that Humans are taking credit. ”

‘You already know everything you know. ’

I wanted to shoot him, but Roland swallowed what he wanted to say out of his throat.

Aside from Heimdahl's intention to participate in the war, there were many questions I wanted to ask. Do you know Odin is behind that fortress? Do you know and ignore? Etc.

However, it was dangerous to ask here, and Heimdall did not seem to like it.

Heimdall was arrogant as a god. He would feel insulted if the blessing he had given was not accepted immediately.

I had no choice. Lollan bows, his head buried in all his doubts.

“May you send as many warriors as you can to Valhalla. Please. It's wolf time. I think we need more warriors than ever. ”

Heimdall smiles nicely and replies.

“Roland, do me a favor. ”

After that, Heimdahl shut up without saying a word of encouragement to the commanders gathered here.

That was the end of the meeting with God. Roland leads the commanders off the stairs and returns to the camp.

Jason, who was waiting, asked for it.

“Have you met Heimdall? How was it?”

Roland hides his horse. According to myth, the heavenly watchman Heimdall's hearing was transcendent.

“You're a holy watchman after all your hard work. ”

And speaking of which, Lollant suddenly started working on a document. And I wrote down two Arabic numbers for Jason to see.

18, 50000.

Jason looked at the number of meanings at once and asked.

“More than Moji?”

“Much.”

Jason groaned.

Eighteen arrogant sons of bitches? I never wanted to see him.

The encirclement of the expedition was completing at a rapid rate. Cannons have been placed between the trenches surrounding the fortress. He even hardened the floor so that he could rotate the pores as soon as he found a weak spot on the wall.

With all this going smoothly, Roland wondered. What are Giants doing just standing there? Why don't you try to stop him? Are you planning an ambush at night?

Just in time, a leather flag rises over the wall and a horn sounds.

Even though giants were different from humans in culture, they only knew what they wanted now.

Amaric mutters.

“They want to talk. ”

So Roland steps out. With two heroes at your side.

Of course, there was a giant standing on the wall. However, he was a giant in a fancy legal suit, not armor.

The giant dressed as a high priest shouts in a voice of spells.

“Humans, children of Elms and Ash Trees! Fall back! We don't want war -! ”

Roland shouts out the prescribed ambassador.

“I insist -! ”

The giant stares back at Lollan. I looked down for a long time and asked.

“Do you speak for the people? If not, summon a qualified person and confront me. Know that I am Loki, Lord of Utgart. I am an old Frost ruler and king of Utgard or Jotunheim. So I ask you, who did you encounter with the Giant King? ”

Loki. In his name, Roland is frozen solid.

Perhaps the cause of all this was the evil god, Rocky. The operator of game Mediah was Trickster Loki.

But that Loki could have been that Loki. Isn't it the same name? That Wizard Giant doesn't know what he's capable of.

‘Even the gods mock him.' ’

Lollang shouts, hiding his tension.

“Roland! Knight of our esteemed Emperor and great warrior of Odin! Now I stand here as the leader of this herd! ”

“I've heard that name before. I'm no king, but I do recognize his qualifications. Now the lord of Utgart says to the noble knight, Roland. Lead them back-! Is there any reason or advantage to invade this castle? ”

Roland pondered the question. That horse is being heard by everyone with the power of a spell, so you shouldn't be pushed out of this fight. What excuses should I give you?

First, I took out the excuses I had prepared.

“Revenge! I've come to avenge my old vengeance! I set foot on this earth again to avenge the ancestors of today's humanity and my comrades! ”

“Hundreds of years ago, you mean Carl's war? The cause of the war was also justified here. You were invaders.”

“At that time, your people enslaved us and brought shame upon the souls of mankind! It was a war to punish those wicked people. Is there any reason why you should invade? ”

“I'm sorry, but those who ruled you on earth are a different people than we are. Giants may all look like the same herd, but I don't think we need to explain the diversity of Giants here. Because that's not the real reason. Let me guess. Odin? ”

Roland is embarrassed. He's supposed to pretend he doesn't know Odin's being held there, but he's out in the open.

However, he hid his embarrassment and chanted in anger instead.

“Are you pledges, too? ”

“Maybe, maybe not. Either way, my word is simple. Don't do it! Odin must not be set free. Odin, who has been freed, will go to war as his own man. A deserted grudge, a war to unleash his personal rage! Axe and Spear will sweep through everything! Hungry Wolf Time! Jotunheim cannot be free from the madness of the god of war, nor the water of the world below, nor Midgard! I repeat, stand down! Odin must not be freed--! ”
