The two men’s feet came together with a forceful impact. The middle-aged man’s face suddenly changed; he never expected this young man before him to have such powerful legs, his strength far surpassing his own.

At this moment, the middle-aged man wanted to retreat, but it was too late. His body leaned back, his right leg bent, trying to diminish the power from the opponent’s leg. If he continued to go head-to-head, this leg might break.

Chen Qianfan and Pu Jian also entered the courtyard as they saw Chunliang kick the middle-aged man flying.

The middle-aged man flew backward like a kite with its string cut, crashing into the wall behind him before stopping.

Seeing his father get beaten, the young black guy shouted angrily and picked up a brick to charge at Chunliang.

The middle-aged man yelled, "Black Egg, stop!"

The tense situation was eased considerably by his words, making Pu Jian and Chen Qianfan laugh—Black Egg? Indeed, the name suited him.

Chunliang kicked the middle-aged man flying and didn’t continue attacking.

The middle-aged man was still shocked by Chunliang’s overwhelming strength. He stopped his son not because he feared his impulsiveness would cause trouble, but because he worried his son would suffer losses. Even if both father and son attacked, they couldn’t be a match for this young man.

The middle-aged man said, "Why did you three break into my home and bully a minor child?"

Pu Jian said, "You have some nerve, don’t you?" He explained what happened and showed the surveillance footage of the young black guy slashing his tires.

After watching, the middle-aged man finally understood why they had caught up with him. He angrily asked, "Black Egg, did this happen?"

The young black guy pursed his lips, looking as if he was about to cry.

The middle-aged man bowed slightly to the three, saying, "I am Zha Youxin, and this is my son, Zha Tiehan. He’s only twelve. I will take responsibility for his mistakes, and I’ll cover all the damage to your vehicle."

Pu Jian saw his sincerity and half his anger dissipated.

Chen Qianfan said, "Your son is quite mischievous. If he’d slashed the tires of a luxury car, you’d have to pay a lot."

Pu Jian said, "Who are you looking down on? My car’s tires cost almost ten thousand!" In fact, his four tires together were less than five thousand, but Pu Jian wanted to get more since he was in the right.

Zha Youxin wasn’t a fool—he wouldn’t give whatever was asked. He promptly suggested checking the car damage on-site.

Pu Jian said, "Just the tires aren’t enough, my car’s rear end was also scratched, and I missed a huge deal this morning, causing major losses. Asking for ten thousand isn’t too much."

Chunliang knew Pu Jian was trying to take advantage, so he said to Zha Youxin, "Mr. Cha, we have no enmity with your son, so someone must have instigated him to scratch our car. Can you ask him about this?"

Zha Youxin called his son aside and quietly questioned him. Despite Zha Tiehan’s young age, he was tight-lipped and wouldn’t say a thing no matter how Zha Youxin asked.

Chunliang had taken photos of two black men harassing Bai Lan last night, which he found on his phone and showed to Zha Tiehan: "Look, is it them?"

Zha Tiehan glanced at the screen and immediately hung his head.

Chunliang said, "Proximity to good brings goodness, proximity to bad brings badness; be careful who you associate with."

Zha Youxin looked embarrassed—a son dark-skinned enough. He knew the ones in Chunliang’s phone, saying quietly, "I know these two; they’re both from the Gordon Fitness Club, the taller one is the owner."

Chunliang said, "Thanks!"

He hinted to Pu Jian and Chen Qianfan with a look that they could leave, but Pu Jian hadn’t received compensation and refused to go.

Zha Youxin insisted on checking the car, and then he and his son went with Chunliang to the front of the hotel. Zha Youxin checked the car damage and found the tire prices online, immediately transferring five thousand to Pu Jian, which although wasn’t what Pu Jian wanted, was enough to keep him balanced.

After Zha Youxin and his son left, Chunliang decided to go to Gordon Fitness Club to settle the score with the two blacks. He didn’t call Pu Jian and Chen Qianfan this time, since they were weak in combat; if a fight broke out at the gym, they wouldn’t be much help.

At the club entrance, Chunliang ran into Zha Youxin who was there for the same reason. Zha Youxin’s family wasn’t well-off, and it hurt to shell out that five thousand, so he wanted to settle accounts with the instigators.

Chunliang and Zha Youxin exchanged a knowing glance, understanding each other’s purpose. Zha Youxin greeted, "Here?"

Chunliang smiled, "Didn’t expect to run into you so soon."

Zha Youxin said, "Debts have owners, grievances have ends. I need to warn these people to stay away from my son."

Chunliang asked, "Your biological son?" He couldn’t see any of Zha Youxin’s traits in Zha Tiehan.

Zha Youxin sighed, "He’s mine, born while building railways in Africa, and I’ve done a paternity test."

Chunliang asked, "Your wife didn’t come?"

Zha Youxin said, "She passed away years ago."

They chatted as they walked, soon arriving at Gordon Fitness Club. Inside, many were working out as Chunliang found one of the black trainers—the one whose fingers he had twisted last night.

The black coach saw Chunliang, visibly scared, turning to leave, but Chunliang blocked his path.

At this moment, a group gathered around, led by the one who had nearly been kicked out by Bai Lan last night—Gordon. He owned this club, and as soon as Chunliang entered, he noticed him and quickly gathered seven or eight strong men to surround him.

Gordon puffed out his chest, standing before Chunliang. He was a head taller than Chunliang, towering over Zha Youxin.

Gordon said, "This is my place, you two are not welcome, and now I order you to leave."

Chunliang retorted, "I must have heard wrong; this is clearly our Chinese place. If anyone should leave, it ought to be you."

Zha Youxin asked, "Gordon, did you tell my son to slash other people’s tires? He’s only a child! How could you do this? Do you know it’s a crime to incite?"

Gordon asked, "What’s your evidence linking me to that incident? If your son did bad things, it’s your responsibility as a father. How can you prove he’s not lying?"

Zha Youxin said, "My son never lies to me."

Gordon replied, "Then you don’t know him well; he’s a liar, a little punk..." Before he could finish, Zha Youxin struck. He kicked Gordon right between the legs; Zha Youxin was fiercely protective of his son and couldn’t stand anyone insulting him.

Gordon was unlucky enough; he took a kick from Bai Lan last night—not yet healed—now Zha Youxin delivered another, which was fiercer than Bai Lan’s.

Gordon clutched his groin and bent over, as Zha Youxin punched him squarely in the chin, sending Gordon sprawling backward.

The gym-goers saw their boss getting knocked down and all rushed over. Chunliang had initially come intending to fight, but today Zha Youxin had beaten him to it. Despite his small stature, Zha Youxin attacked decisively, weaving among the strong men, quickly taking two down.

Chunliang realized he didn’t need to do anything; Zha Youxin was handling it on his own.

As Zha Youxin fiercely beat the group, Chunliang approached Gordon, stepping on his large black hand, causing Gordon to scream in pain, "Foot... foot..."

Chunliang smiled, "Isn’t this your hand?"

Gordon said, "Lift your foot, lift your foot!"

Chunliang slapped his large black face—his skin thick enough that, despite the hard smack, it left little trace. Against fairer skin, it would leave five clear finger marks.

Chunliang asked, "Know why I hit you?"

Gordon shook his head.

Chunliang gave another slap, hard enough to make Gordon see stars. Gordon immediately pleaded, "Stop hitting, stop hitting, I admit, I ordered someone to slash the tires."
