From Mightiest Hero to Demon King (WN)

The Demon King leaves the Patriarchate.

In a painting of the cathedral, there was a staircase leading to the basement.

Standing signs and ropes of 'No Entry' are pulled to the side in front of the stairs.

I didn't know you didn't have a single guard.

Kella doesn't mind twirling the rope. There was a dance floor when I lit the light at my fingertips and went down for about two floors. From there it is helical, with a dark hole in its mouth.

Only the tricks and the sound of shoes echo.

The spiral staircase eventually came to an end amid uncertainty as to how far down it went.

Straight down the narrow hallway, the walls on both sides disappeared and Kera felt she had entered the hall.

Increase the light at your fingertips, turn it into a sphere and fly it overhead. The large room was horizontal and there was a wall on the front with a surprising note of letters.

It's the Bible.

Touch the wall with your hands.

(What kind of protective magic do you have?)

Too harsh. It is therefore clear what lies beyond this wall.

(But that's odd. From what I looked at a long time ago, more below (...) should have been blocked by walls like this...)

Kella looks at the wall with her hands.

It will also have the effect of magic effects, but it is brand new. It could have been made in at least a few years, maybe months.

"Oh? What are you doing here?

Scared by the voice from behind.

Some of them were focused, but I didn't expect them to turn off their footsteps completely and show up.

"What can I do for you? I don't think it's where the Pope takes his feet."

The old man, long skinny, thin as a dead tree with his hands and feet, stood smiling. It's Pope Saladio Giuselli.

"Nah, I heard you fluttered over here. He came after me to get him back."

"The Pope himself, or"

"Yeah, because you're good around. I have plenty of free time."

If you're going to blame me for entering a restricted area, you'll let the guards do it.

Why did you come in so easily while you were off-limits?

To show me this from the edge?

Kella slapped the wall with a knack while she felt a lot of it was known in her hand.

"It's pretty tough. What are you hiding from me?

"Needless to say, you know the wisdom of the world, don't you?

"Hmm, I see. Are there still ruins leading to the Temple of Speria ahead of us?"

"You don't want me to call you a temple or anything lightly. It's just a blockade of trap-loaded danger zones created by the ancients."

It has a strong connotation of restraint that I dare to use the word 'temple' that Saladio dislikes.

The only preachers of the divine faith, because they do not recognize the ancient temples supposedly built by more than one god.

(Has it been gently flushed though)

But it does not deny its very existence.

"Isn't there more to safety considerations than just reclining? Only those who enter the back of the cathedral shall be limited. It's a story that needs to be well known."

Pope Saladio walked over to Kera's side without breaking his grin and put his hand on the wall.

"No. As you may have noticed, this wall was built a few months ago. There are still reckless people trying to challenge ancient ruins, even if they are blocked by multiple walls. So..."

To the cold grin of Saladio,

"Even the Holy Sword (...) tried to be so robust that it couldn't be easily broken through"

Kella was delirious.

(You Saladio, did you realize you still go through with my Gallius)

Why I'm still letting you swim.

I must have intentionally shown Kella this wall with the intention of warning Gallius that 'it's not easy to break in'.

He was promoted to the role of distributing warnings.

But I also think the stuffing is sweet.

(I guess Gallius is already aware of the existence of this wall. slimes must be telling)

If so, it was likely that we were currently exploring what to do.

"I don't even think that guy's gonna give up on this."

"Well, what do you think? It is difficult to stop him equipped with the holy weapon Elzanad, assuming he has been single and assaulted like when he attacked the king's capital. This lean neck is going to fall off again."

"... will you prove your faith with death"

"The faithful are not foolish. You will not tolerate the blasphemy of the Holy City and the Cathedral. Therefore, his tyranny is the only thing that will make God's faith stronger."

Kera doesn't understand how to use her own life.

But they are the 'yes'. Saladio, who reigns at the top, is no exception and probably has the strongest conviction in the world.

"But does he jump without any help? It's not a good idea to expose yourself."

"Oh, I'm surprised you're worried."

"Don't tear it up. I don't belong to any organization, as you know. No, he belongs only to this world. Let me therefore say. Then the world will be so disturbed if we fight. I want you to stop."

Saladio laughed like a boy after a moment of neatness.

"Ha ha, I see. I hear you're still on our side. Relieved."

"... well, you can't deny it"

Kera knows the essence of the subhuman.

They do not like strife, and therefore the peace of the world will be preserved if they do not interfere disproportionately. As such, it was doomed sooner or later (...).

(But not now)

The mightiest man in the nation leads the suburbs.

(Gallius himself would want peace in the endless land...)

It was the kingdom, the group of urban states, the empire, and the Patriarchate that did the extra thing.

The subhumans, who are no longer able to live in hiding, are forced to antagonize the people again, and will continue to win (...) all the time.

Fear calls for fear, and the people fear, behave, and be hostile to the subpeople.

Whatever Gallius's thoughts, the confusion will grow even bigger.

That wasn't the world Kella wanted.

We need change in stability. But a prolonged period of change can be muddy.

Although Gallius was about to change the world, he had to say that paying off the firepowder that would take him down was central and awkward.

(Me and Gallius are incompatible in the first place)

If the world were to stabilize, Kella would cut off the weak, and Gallius, who sought peace from the weak sub-people.

"I'm a human end, too. I hope for that prosperity."

Saladio smiled.

"Thank you. If you will take our side, we will soon defeat the Demon King."

"That's a confident thing to say, knowing that's not an easy thing to do. You got a secret?

"You can't say that much just now. Well, let's just say 'yes'. With the meaning of restraint."

Even though it aroused Russian interest, I didn't think Saladio would expose his palm easily.

"Then I'll be excused for this. Please don't stay here too long."

Dropping off his back with his heels back, Kella, who stood up for a while, returned to her room.

There...

Kera calls into the void. "Piu" and a round slime jumped out from under the bed.

When I told Gallius there was a report, the footage was shown on the wall.

'- Hmm. I knew there was a wall, but you didn't think it was so robust that even the Holy Sword couldn't break through easily. I don't think you want to get so close to the temple.'

It's a familiar sight.

Kella thought it was her home living room from the couch where Gallius sat and the conditioning behind him. He himself has not put a holy sword on his hips in his regular clothes.

"Whether it's a bluff or not. I don't think I can create walls that I can't break through with the power of the Holy Sword."

'But you have to be flashy to break in. If anyone finds out about the intrusion, it's not a temple attack. "

"You're bold and invincible. That's prudent. You're just following Saladio's warning."

That would be fine, but as for Kella, I wanted Gallius to poke at me quickly.

I am not talking about the Pope having a secret.

If I was so confident, I was confident that it would be enough to return the helpless Gallius.

(The other person, though, is Galius. Perhaps there's plenty to discuss)

The world would be more confused if we lost the Pope.

But at the same time, "If the Demon King dies, the confusion stays temporary.

Kella decided that the best way to break the current confused situation was to have Gallius exit.

So I want to burn Gallius to hold him to a direct confrontation with the Patriarchate.

"What are we going to do?

Gallius stared straight at Kella via video and then.

"Can't you just come this far and see how things are going? Let's just work out what to do with the information we have. You will continue to gather information. Incorporate useful things'

"Oh, leave it to me"

Kella finished the correspondence with a chuckle inside.

Immediately afterwards, I remember forgetting to ask.

(Speaking of which, what happened to Greer and Acadia's offense?

I hear that other than Gallius is in charge, but he wasn't even informed of the progress.

(Ma'am, here in Speria, there's nothing left for him to ride directly)

Then you don't have to worry much about what's going on with the other temples.

(All you have to do is tell Saladio, 'Gallius will attack soon')

Though I'd like to explore the timing of the raid if possible, I didn't think Gallius would be honest.

(Another exploration of the belly? Oh man, that guy's opponent is tired)

That's almost over, too.

On this occasion, "The Demon King" is asked to leave.

And bring stability to a confused world...

Gallius got up off the couch when he finished communicating with Kella.

Rippi rushes over there.

"I see why you brought your couch here."

Behind Gallius - the view of the home living room disappeared and the blue and white walls (...) were exposed.

An oak soldier comes and carries the couch to the carriage.

"I don't trust Kella. If I did, there would be some way to defeat me in the Patriarchate."

Gallius wears black armor. It's a color-changing holy armor.

"You don't have to bother catching on to something like that. At best, while they're pulling the trigger, this one will do what needs to be done."

Wide range of paths to high ceilings.

In front of Gallius are multiple carriages and large numbers of soldiers.

"You ate extra time. Now let's continue with the Speria strategy (...)"

Two days after the start of the operation.

Gallius and the others were already inside the ruins of Speria...
