What brought us here at the head of the Palm was a white building in the heart of the Spirit City.

The walls are stamped with several crests, which at a glance show that they are hung with magical protection. I was in front of a big door that would be the entrance to such a building.

On both sides stands women of the Spirit in light armor, whether they are guards,

"Good day, Master Palm."

"You're our guest, the brave party, right? Please come inside."

Palm, Daisy, and when you saw my face, you let me through.

"I thought a human being from outside like us could suddenly meet a princess named Princess Spirit, but you have a great trust in Palm."

"No, not so much. Sure, you'll be trusting me in terms of guild masters... more than that, because Princess Spirit is Frank. They always say they want to talk to you about your position and your situation, if you will."

"Frank princess, huh?"

Although there are many types of princesses and named women I know who are quite extravagant. Maybe it's something that every princess features.

As I walked through the palace with that in mind,

"This is the back."

I was taken to a room in the back of the palace.

Once inside, the room was decorated with water and emerald crystals, and in the back, there was once again one throne-like chair decorated with crystals.

And I was sitting there,

"This is Laurier, the Spirit Princess who ruled the Spirit City."

She was a spiritual girl, dressed in brilliant dresses in clear shades.

She walked up to the throne and looked at me with powerful eyes,

"Nice to meet you. Palm's contacted me a lot. The haulier accelerator that you came to this city. And you're Daisy, the brave alchemist."

I've said it in a hazy voice.

"Oh. Nice to meet you, Princess Laurier. I'm the accelerator. It's Daisy on our shoulder."

What a strong-willed princess she seemed, and when she replied, Laurier shook her neck beside her.

"You can have Laurier there. I'm tough, I don't like it."

"... do you? Then let me call you Laurier."

"Yeah, that'll stick better.... So I came here because I needed help with the Spirit Fountain?

"Yeah, but they're getting dirty because of the Warcraft. I don't think I can do it yet."

In other words, Laurier nodded in agreement as well.

"It is. Absolutely, you'll be rude, won't you? Though I manage the Spirit City firmly, keeping the circle of magic open and interacting with the Spirit Path. I don't know where, but I can't believe you're eating up the magic of spiritual paths and springs. I want to stop now."

Laurier had a rough nose, and it was happening emotionally.

... Oh, I wonder what.

This could be the type of princess you've never had before. Seems temperamental if you say so.

It's just, well, it's easy and thankful to talk, and I'll return the word.

"So, Laurier. I think it would be better if I stopped talking about the Warcraft, but Palm told me that there was something wrong with opening the Spirit Path itself. Can you tell me a little bit about the problems you have around there and the circumstances?

The reason I came here was because I was told that there were people who could explain more than Palm.

to fulfill that purpose. Asking questions, oh, yeah, Laurier shook her neck vertically,

"The problem with Spirit Path is that the less stable it is, or the more it opens, the more magical it shreds me and the Spirit City, and so on? I'll talk to you first as knowledge of the grand premise, but the Spirit Way is. Definitely something you have to open a few times a day."

"You have to open it, does that mean there's a norm?

"If it's easy to say, yes. If the Spirit Path doesn't open a few times a day, it won't be possible to circulate magic between the Spirit and the Human worlds. Then all the spiritual cities of the human world, their magic becomes rotten, and they approach doom."

As far as I'm concerned, I've never heard of magic rotting, but I know it's not a good thing to describe. And unlike me, Daisy seems to understand that.

"Corruption of magic power? If that happens, the damage will be done naturally, and the amount of magic produced will be reduced."

"Yeah. Daisy's right. And then there's the hot springs out in the Spirit City, which are going to stop boiling, or something like that, I guess. Because it's a product of a magical circulation."

An example of actual harm has been a very easy story to understand.

"That sucks."

"Yeah. Shit, I just have to open it... the more I open it, the more magical it feels like it's eating me. And the Spirit Path is not infinite because it combines the magic I'm getting from the inhabitants of Involg with my magic. It's completely eaten and lost.... so we're shortening the time to open the Spirit Path. Don't let them eat too much magic."

To Laurier's words, I recall what was once explained to me by Cattleya.

"Oh, so it's not a short time for the Spirit Path to open, after all"

He used to say it could have been easier to cross.

"Absolutely. Otherwise, a lot of people can't come in.... Now, because it's dangerous, I was shortening the time to open the Spirit Path to even reduce the number of people who get lost.... I didn't know there was a situation in the human world where warcraft would come together."

The human condition I told Palm seems to be passed on to Laurier, as well. Neither does she seem to know what's going on in the human world until now.

"It's supposed to be in the Spirit Path, because there's no longer a solution."

"That's the harm of being eaten by magic. For once, randomizing the opening area has reduced the damage somewhat, but they still eat it."

Wherever it opens, they're gonna do it. Hey, Laurier exhales.

"Hmm... do you know anything about the person causing the damage"

"Hey, whenever I open the spiritual path, I feel like something is eating me up. I really don't need to know who I am. Damn it, man. - Go, go...!

As he was talking, Laurier suddenly coughed.

It's a cough that seems slightly painful, not stuck in my breath.

"... you okay?

Laurier had the look on her face, though only for a moment.

But Laurie went back to her gauntlet expression, as if she had never been that spicy.

"I'm fine with this, Axel! It's just bad quality magic created from warcraft! It hurts my stomach and chest a little."

"Wasn't the only damage caused by the decay of magic?"

"Sort of. Managing a Spirit City gives feedback on attacks on cities. It feels like if you let poor quality magic flow through you, it's gonna pour in on me."

Laurie exhales as she rubs her chest.

That's it, Laurie put her expression back on track.

"That's it.... as the role of the Spirit Princess who governs the city, there is absolutely no way to manage the city. I don't know what else to do."

"More than I thought, Laurier's in a tough spot, too."

"Right. But it's not just a bad thing to manage, but it also means that you have the power to manipulate the Spirit City. It's no big deal if you think it's the price of that power."

Laurier says as he bends his thin arms and pounds around his arms.

"Can power be used with unique skills or something"

"Yeah. In the Spirit City of Invorg, you said you were getting a little magic from the residents, didn't you? I can handle the magic I gather on my behalf. For example, it is used to move buildings in the Spirit City. Demonize and create a new earth. Build roads in the air and all that. That's how spiritual paths are built - and besides, for example, we can do this. [Build: Taiwan (Construct Little Stage)]"

She was attached to a chair twist, holding a cane, chanting.

Then, before our eyes, a thin circular platform made of white light was completed.

The light was hardened and like a single plate floating in the universe.

"Even this thinness is durable enough for a few people to ride."

"Oh, wow."

"Sometimes spirits are good at materializing magic and hardening it on a pedigree basis."

"I can't believe we lightly do magic materialization on the road or on the level of building a platform. I have to use a lot of skills, but I'll do it well, princess."

Daisy admires it too.

Daisy says so much about making things out of alchemy, so I guess this is quite a level thing.

... I also had some magic materialization in my Dragon Knight moves, but it wasn't something I could easily do like this.

While he thought so, Laurier was lowering his cane.

Then the light table scratches out, too.

"Ugh, demonstration's over.... So what are you guys going to do now? Though you came this way, you couldn't use the Spirit Fountain, could you?

Although it seems impossible to repair the weapons originally planned.

"Right...... In the meantime, I got the information. I'm going to go back to the human world and share it with the others."

Katrea and Peony asked me to bring back a lot of stories if I could go over there.

Another reason I came here is likely to be accomplished.

So once I get back, yes, tell Laurier,

"Thank you for that. Because I didn't have the option to tell you about the situation that was being placed over here. If I can get you to carry me, I can hope or fulfill it."

"Oh.... but what am I supposed to do when I leave?

"Right. In a few moments, I think the palm there will open the spiritual path. Right, Palm?"

Said, Palm took his pocket watch out of his pocket and looked hazy.

"Ah, yes. Right. It was already that time. In less than an hour, I thought it would be time to open it."

"Yeah. Axel should be back at that time."

"Oh, I get it... Laurier's the one managing the spiritual path, but the palm opens up, huh?

When I said something that bothered me, Laurier laughed bitterly.

"Uh, that's the hard part. Because I don't go out much, basically look for the coordinates of the Spirit Path where Palm seems to be good, and specify that I'm building the Spirit Path there. And, you know, sometimes you have magic poured into you and you open it up on your behalf."

"Heh, is that how you do it"

"Yes, so I was wondering if you would have any problems with the spiritual path if you followed me"

"Copy that. Then I guess the next time I open it, let me go home."

That's how we set our policy for the future.

Later, Laurier opened her mouth again.

"Well, that's why I've decided on future plans... but I still have time. Now that we've talked about me, I'd like to talk about you."

"Our story?

"Yeah, I want you to listen to me. I haven't been able to get out of this spiritual city, and the information coming from the outside is now being squeezed. I'm hearing from Palm about what's going on in the human world, but not just about those accidents, incidents and problems, but about the current epidemic and all that, Axel.... all the time I've been investigating problems, I think I'm stuck in my breath."

Yes, Roger that, Laurie.

That's how we enjoyed our conversation with the Spirit Princess at the Spirit City Palace.
