Julie Judd’s situation wasn’t just a personal problem, but a societal one—even a national one.

Julie Judd wasn’t the only one who couldn’t afford the medicine; hundreds of other leukemia patients across the country were struggling to survive.

Developing a miracle drug was a matter of utmost urgency.

After returning from the party, Chloe Sinclair shut herself in her room.

What she needed to do immediately was get certified and register the company.

Given her current status, it was impossible for her to establish a pharmaceutical company on her own, which was why she thought of Aaron Archer.

So, she contacted Aaron Archer the very next day.

They met at a coffee shop, and when Aaron heard what Chloe Sinclair had to say, his eyes widened in disbelief.

"You’re saying the company will be registered in my name?"

Chloe Sinclair took a gentle sip of her coffee and gave a faint nod. "That’s right. I can apply for the relevant documents from the authorities, but everything has to go through the proper legal channels. I don’t have the necessary license, but as a pharmacist, you do. That’s why I want to make you the company’s president."

’Actually, Chloe Sinclair had her own plans.’

’She didn’t have the spare time to manage these things, and in the future, the biopharmaceutical research institute would also need someone to run it.’

’She trusted Aaron Archer’s character, and she certainly wasn’t going to let such a great talent go to waste.’

"But I..."

He instinctively wanted to refuse. ’I’ve never managed a company before,’ he thought. ’Suddenly being given such a huge responsibility... it’s a bit much for me to handle.’

Chloe Sinclair saw through his hesitation. Not minding that she was forcing his hand, she said, "I’ll give you a raise."

The words of refusal were right on the tip of Aaron Archer’s tongue, but they changed instantly when he heard her offer. "Alright, you have a deal."

"Oh, right." Chloe Sinclair suddenly remembered something. "I’ll be staying in Emberfall for the next few years and won’t be going back to Kennet much. So, I plan to move the bio-company to Emberfall. Would you be willing to relocate?"

Aaron Archer nodded, his eyes filled with longing. "Of course, I’m willing!"

He desperately wanted to build his career in Emberfall, but he’d never had the chance.

Chloe Sinclair’s offer was a huge help, and he felt even more grateful to her.

Relieved, Chloe Sinclair exchanged a few more words before leaving to handle the company’s formation.

For the next few days, Chloe Sinclair was out from dawn till dusk. The process of starting a company alone had her running all over the place, submitting one document here and another there. She was spinning like a top all day long, to the point where even getting a full night’s sleep felt like a luxury.

Fortunately, the company’s affairs were mostly settled.

However, she didn’t know how to run a business. After discussing it with Jasper Shaw over the phone, she decided to make the company a subsidiary of the Shaw Group.

Chloe Sinclair knew this would save her a lot of unnecessary trouble, so she immediately agreed.

「Three days later.」

All the licenses Chloe Sinclair had applied for were approved. Not only that, but she had also contacted a biopharmaceutical professor from The Ivory League.

The professor, however, hadn’t given her a definitive answer yet.

Meanwhile, Chloe Sinclair had already begun preparations for the research.

When Mr. Sinclair found out Chloe Sinclair was starting a bio-company, he spared no expense, ordering a vast amount of materials—whether they were needed or not—enough to rival a national Grade-A laboratory.

By this time, Aaron Archer had arrived in Emberfall. He went to the address Chloe Sinclair gave him, and when he saw the company’s new home, his eyes shot wide open.

The biopharmaceutical lab was on the top floor of the Shaw Group’s headquarters. Jasper Shaw had cleared out the entire floor for it on short notice, so it hadn’t been renovated yet, and many areas still looked as they were before.

But the space was enormous, with clearly defined work areas. Most importantly, the equipment was all state-of-the-art!

There were also rows upon rows of reagents. Even Whitespire Tech hadn’t provided him with so many reagents to use.

Aaron Archer stared in awe for a full hour before his hands trembled as he pulled out his phone to call Chloe Sinclair.

"B-Boss, please tell me I’m not dreaming!"
