Chapter 309 - 310: Leaving
It was nearly eight o’clock, and almost all the sprinters and long-distance runners from the sports team had arrived. Naturally, they all saw what was happening.
They had also overheard some of the things Mia Warren said.
When the ambulance arrived, Coach Young sent the assistant coach to go with them.
Now that Chloe Sinclair was asking about it, he felt a pang of guilt.
"Chloe, rest assured, I will handle this properly."
The sports team has its own set of rules, after all.
Chloe Sinclair had no intention of breaking them, so she wouldn’t interfere with however Coach Young chose to handle the situation.
She wasn’t angry anymore, but she still felt that Mia Warren needed to be taught a lesson. Otherwise, the girl would never learn her place.
"Oh, right, Coach Young." Chloe Sinclair suddenly remembered something and pulled a black notebook and a thick stack of documents from her tote bag.
"These are the notes I prepared. They contain a training plan for each member of the team."
Chloe Sinclair’s eyes were apologetic. "Normally, I should be with the team for the entire process, but I have too much on my plate. I’ll have to trouble you to study these, Coach Young. Of course, if there’s anything you don’t understand, feel free to find me. We can figure it out together."
Professor Young looked at the thick notebook and the well-worn documents, his eyes turning red. He knew Chloe Sinclair had poured an immense amount of effort into this.
Thinking of Mia Warren’s backstabbing comments, Professor Young felt deeply ashamed.
"These notes..."
Chloe Sinclair knew what he was asking and replied, "Do with them as you see fit."
A wave of excitement washed over Professor Young’s face, a flush rising on his aged cheeks. He thanked her solemnly, "Chloe, thank you."
Chloe Sinclair nodded in return. "You’re welcome. It’s my job."
These notes from Chloe Sinclair contained the essence of what she had learned from the system, with plans customized for each team member based on their individual physical condition.
This wasn’t a one-size-fits-all training regimen. While it would be challenging for Professor Young to implement, he believed that if they could pull it off, they would achieve incredible success in the upcoming competitions.
Furthermore, if these notes were shown to others in the world of competitive sports, they would surely cause quite a stir.
"Chloe, how about you take a look at the gymnastics team as well?"
This time, Chloe Sinclair refused without a second thought. "Coach Young, I’m afraid I don’t have that much time."
Besides, she would likely be even busier after the New Year.
She wouldn’t have any time to manage the sports team’s situation then.
Disappointment flickered across Coach Young’s face, but he understood her predicament and could only nod.
"Shawn Styles is very talented at long-distance running. If all goes well, he can definitely make it to the finals in next year’s Olympics, but don’t put too much pressure on him."
Chloe Sinclair’s sudden comment left Coach Young confused for a moment.
Still, he nodded. "Alright, I’ll keep that in mind."
The two chatted a bit more about the status of various team members.
Chloe Sinclair made a special note of the few who showed the most potential.
Back on the indoor track, all the athletes stopped what they were doing.
All eyes turned toward Chloe Sinclair.
Chloe Sinclair glanced up at them and couldn’t help but snap, "What are you all gawking at? Is there something on my face? Get back to your training!"
At her words, everyone quickly started jogging again.
Julian Dawson shot a look at Shawn Styles, signaling for them to go over together, but Shawn acted as if he hadn’t seen him.
Julian Dawson’s eyes widened in a glare, but Shawn Styles remained oblivious.
Finally, Julian Dawson took a few steps forward, grabbed Shawn Styles, and jogged over to Chloe Sinclair.
The two men weren’t heavyset, but they were exceptionally tall. More importantly, they were running so fast that they couldn’t brake in time as they approached her.
Chloe Sinclair felt as if she had just run into a wall.
