The sunlight brought a long-missed warmth as it shone down.

Knowing Su Chen was leaving today, the entire family stayed home to see him off instead of visiting relatives for New Year’s meals.

"Grandpa, why don’t you reconsider? You and Grandma should move to the city." Su Chen couldn’t help but try to persuade him again just before getting into the car.

Seeing this, Su Chen didn’t press the issue. He turned to chat with his grandmother for a few more moments before opening the passenger door of the white G-Wagen and getting in. As for the driver, it was, of course, Su Chen’s father, Su Zhuyun.

Originally, Su Chen had planned for Su Yan to drive him to Jiangbei Airport, but Su Zhuyun had said, "Su Yan has no experience driving on the highway. I should go instead," pouring a bucket of cold water on the excited Su Yan.

Unexpectedly, Su Zhuyun laughed. "Resent it? Don’t worry, your Second and Third Aunts aren’t as petty as you think. Besides, they were the ones who suggested it in the first place."

"They suggested it themselves?" This completely baffled Su Chen.

"Mhm." Su Zhuyun nodded, glancing at the cigarettes on the center console and grabbing one for himself. He lit it before continuing, "After dinner last night, your Second and Third Uncles came to discuss this with me. After all, we all know how stubborn Grandpa can be."

He glanced at Su Chen again. "Besides, you were the one who brought this up. How could we not try to find a solution?"

Su Chen paused, stunned, but understanding quickly dawned on him. The Su family’s recent transformation was all thanks to him. Without his support, they would never have become so successful. His Second and Third Uncles’ families would likely still be working in factories, not living the comfortable lives they had now.

Su Chen had even heard in a previous conversation that his Second and Third Uncles were both preparing to buy new houses in a top-tier residential complex on Binjiang Road.

This was something they couldn’t even have imagined in the past. It was only natural that they would want to help solve family problems.

"Uh, in that case, Dad, I’ll leave it to you to handle." Su Chen didn’t want to get involved in these matters; letting Su Zhuyun handle it was the most sensible option.

During the New Year, Su Qingya had accidentally let it slip that Su Chen owned a private jet. Now, everyone in the family knew he owned a massive plane worth hundreds of millions.

The family had started to become immune to the extent of Su Chen’s wealth. From the luxury mansion to the private jet, their horizons had certainly been broadened.

"There. It’s the biggest one, the one with ’Yunmengze’ written on it!"

Su Zhuyun spotted it immediately. It was hard to miss—the plane was so enormous it stood out among all the other private jets.

Checking the time, Su Chen looked at Su Zhuyun, who was busy taking pictures with his phone, and said, "Dad, I’m heading off. The plane is about to take off."
