Frontier Lord Starts Out With a Population of 0

To Arner and the monster hunt.

"Diaz, look, let's go!

Arner is smiling and cheerfully speaking up.

The men pressed from Arner to take care of Francis and the others, amazed by Arner's such appearance, fascinated...... he throws a jealous glance at me.

The gaze of jealousy is so pungent and spicy that the hearts of the men silently tell me, "I've never seen Arner like that," "Why did Arner do something to you," "The Remainder" and "What the hell did you do to my Arner?"

In fact, Arner, who changed his makeup, looks so good that he can't see it, and I don't know what it's like to be jealous because he's becoming attractive. But... I don't think Arner would be proud just to be jealous like that, yeah.

Arner at heart, by the way, don't even notice the jealous gaze of the men. Just smile at me... yeah, let's just be careful not to get stabbed in the back in the middle of the night.

That's how I finish my discipline for discipline and battle while I get the jealous gaze of the men and start walking north after Yurt with Arner.

They say it's the monster emergence zone in the north of the meadow we're headed to today.

Is it also a dungeon nearby, where monsters appear as they do every day?

Arner explains that hunting a few of the monsters that emerge there and bringing back the material would be enough for the price of the well and the sand.

"When you get to the north, I'll magically find the monsters!

I'm not only good at chores, I'm good at magic!

Arner tells me that when the explanation is finished.

After I had a lot of trouble responding, Arner starts to lighten up his footsteps with a full smile when he returns a word that is awesome.

Hmm, now that I'm a good daughter-in-law, did you want to appeal to that?

Or did you just want to brag...

I have makeup... and the former seems likely.

I really can't afford to think about my daughter-in-law or anything right now, but what is it?

While I was thinking about that, apparently I got to the north where I was meant to be. Arner stops and starts looking around wondering where the monster is.

He said that a very large rocky mountain was nearby and that the effect of cold winds coming from that rocky mountain did not cause much grass to grow, making the impression that the north was closer to the wilderness than to the meadows.

Sparsely grown tall grass with stripped earth.

There's a lot of rocks rolling in there... I see how the monsters seem to live there.

Arner and I walked around the wilderness like that and looked for the monster, but we didn't see the monster... that's how Arner starts to shine his eyes that it's his magic turn.

When I say a word to Arner asking him to do so, Arner nods and shows him with joy, stands a little away from me, then meditates and begins to cast some spell.

The first thing that glowed in response to the spell was Arner's horn.

Usually the blue, shining corner begins to emit white light, and that light spreads so that it dissolves in the air around it.

The next thing to shine on the corner were the jewels at the end of Arner's braided hair, which slowly floated into the universe as they shed the same light as the corner, and Arner's hair began to drift around in such a way that it was pulled by the jewels.

The white lights that continue to emit from the corners and gems continue to shine as they are for a while... and suddenly some of the light starts to stain red when I wonder if that light has twisted like a wave... and the light aggregates to that red-stained part.

Red stained, one lump of light creates a spear-like sharp, pointed shape, and starts pointing in a certain direction… Arner stops spelling and opens his eyes as he touches that red light spear.

"... yeah, I found it.

That's a pretty big monster.

Maybe the only reason I don't see any other monsters is because of what this guy did. "

It seems to be around the foot of that rocky mountain north of here.

Arner said it could be a dangerous opponent given the size of the opponent.

"If there's a possibility of a dangerous opponent, I'll just come and see how it goes.

Arner hid somewhere... "

"No, I'll come with you.

That's safer...... you forgot? I can use cover-up magic.

In case of trouble, the cover-up magic will make us run away together. "

Yeah, speaking of which, you did, you had cover-up magic.

If Arner wasn't in danger, I nodded... Arner nodded as he dyed his cheeks just a little red, and that's how me and Arner walk towards the foot of the mountain.

He sets up an axe of war and walks carefully looking around to see if the monster can show up whenever he wants.

I slowly walked forward and approached the foot... then a monster the size of which I could see clearly in the distance stood there.

It treads the earth with four legs, shakes its long neck, and bears a considerably sized armor.

"... what is that, a turtle monster?

As I lean my neck toward the look of that monster I see at the beginning, Arner leaks a trembling voice as he pales.

"Ah, that's a ground dragon, why is the dragon here..."

Dragon? Speaking of dragons, that would be red, feathery, flying through the sky and throwing up flames, wouldn't it?

Whatever that looks like, it's kind of brown overall, and it doesn't look like a very dragon...

But it doesn't even seem like he's lying to see Arner's expression.

Maybe the ghosts, unlike us, call that a dragon.

"All right, let's just hit him with one shot.

So if you don't have a winning eye, try to escape, Arner, and hide with cover-up magic. "

"Then don't be silly! The other guy's a dragon! There's a reason you can win."

Arner walks out with an axe of war and gives me such a voice... a voice trembling in fear.

Look, the guy I'm talking to is a turtle, and I'm not scared of him.

Turtles would be slow on their feet, and it would be easy to escape if they had to.

I look back and shout out to Arner, who is dyeing his expression with anxiety, to reassure him, before running towards the turtle.

First try to see if this axe passes through that armor that looks like a hard shot...!
