Episode 9: Bounty Neck

The Bounty Neck System is a system that puts bounty on anyone who commits a crime, whether it's a player or NPC. That also includes the criminal system.

Regardless of NPC, this is what happens when you name the parts that are relevant to the player. First, about [criminals].

-The player who committed the crime is registered with the crime name in the Criminal History section of the status.

-The player who committed the crime may have [the offender] registered in the title column.

· Players with the title of [criminal] may be arrested by official constitutional NPCs such as guards. Sometimes resisting is crusaded on the spot.

· A player with the title of [criminal] may be subject to negative corrections on the likelihood of a legitimate NPC knowing that fact.

-The title of [offender] may disappear when allowed to do so before arrest or crusade if there is an opponent who is the subject of the offence. In that case, [settlement] is added to the criminal name displayed in the Criminal History column.

-The title of [offender] shall be changed to [ex-offender] under the following conditions:

1: Arrested, sentence executed complete

2: to be crusaded

· Players with the title of [ex-offender] may be subject to negative corrections on the likelihood of a legitimate NPC knowing that fact.

· Once the sentence has been executed, it is added [priors] to the criminal name displayed in the Criminal History column.

This is an additional element about having committed a crime. And here's the prize neck:

· Players who commit crimes can be prize-necked.

· Players who have been awarded a prize neck are shown as [Prize neck] in the title field.

The title of [Prize Neck] shall be extinguished under the following conditions:

1: Arrested, sentence executed complete

2: to be crusaded

· Players who have been prize-necked will now see special markers over their heads. This marker will revert once it is no longer the prize neck.

· Players who have been prize-necked may be subject to negative corrections to the legitimate NPC liking of knowing that fact.

· Players who are prize-necked are ranked for the crimes committed.

· Players who have been prize-necked will have their prizes hung for the crimes they have committed.

· Players who have been prize-necked may be captured or attacked by NPCs other than official NPCs, such as guards.

· Arrested or crusaded Bounty Neck players will have a permanent partial reduction in skill level, status, possession items, etc.

-The murder charge does not apply if you kill the bounty neck.

Here's the explanation for [criminals] and [prize necks]. By the way, about this criminal record, they can be completely erased by using an item called [immunity marks]. If it can be used before being arrested or crusaded, the title of [criminal] and [prize neck] will disappear at the same time as the charges disappear to acquittal? However, if more than one crime has been committed, all of it needs to be eliminated. They say [absolution marks] can only erase one sin.

And most importantly, it hasn't been revealed where to get the [immunity]. It's also suspicious that it really does exist. Exactly the explanation on the official website, so you won't be putting out things that don't exist, but I'm sure they can be as difficult to get as fools. There are no available reports at this time.

Nevertheless, the attitude towards criminals in the operation is harsh. Moreover, this is said to apply to crimes committed since the first login. This means that this system was implemented as of the start of the service and until now it has simply not been arranged. There is no doubt that the Penal Code itself existed within the GAO at the time of entry into service. Otherwise, there would be no basis for the other day's instrument damage players being taken before the announcement about the bounty neck system, nor would it apply to the crimes prior to the announcement.

Players who have ever casually gotten their hands on crime must be in a hurry. Because all of a sudden, there's a title in the title section that says [criminal] or [prize neck]. Besides, the prize neck will be targeted by players and NPCs. I won't even have time to rest my mind. I deserve it, though.

Well, this is about the official, touched outline, but I have a few questions about the bounty neck system. As for the crime name, it seems to appear from the moment it is committed, but [the offender] does not seem to reflect it immediately. And if you become a [criminal], you may be arrested by the official NPC. To be honest, sometimes you don't get arrested, I can interpret it. How is this neighborhood judged?

And [prize neck] too. Sometimes they do, too. It can be read that criminals are not always bounty necks.

There is a part of this ambiguity. Or, I can't even verify it. I want you to spare me being a criminal for that.

It's just a personal prediction...... wouldn't being pursued by the official constitution as a criminal be if that crime were discovered? The rationale is that if you can't commit a crime, you won't have access to an investigation.

I think I know everything if it's an operation. but not necessarily the inhabitants of this world grasp it. I mean, will criminals be pursued the moment the inhabitants of this world and us plead guilty to crime? Apparently, the arms-busters where I was the first criminal to see them were caught by guards on the spot. As a matter of course the current offender... if he is fleeing the scene, if he is witnessed, he will be arranged, if he thinks so, he will get through.

Then there is the [prize neck]. The guilty plea of players on the bounty neck list was mostly murder. I mean, it's a particularly serious crime. This would be due to the PK act.

NPC's bounty neck includes burglary and fraud, but this could be because he's running around without being arrested. Unlike us, it's impossible to log out and escape. Even in real life, I will arrange a nomination because I can't find it, and there will be a prize money in the leading information, so I don't think the expectation is off the same line as that.

Speaking of which, one sentence is that a negative correction will be made to the liking from NPC, which would have led to the official acknowledgment that the liking for players exists in NPC. More info now because some players like me and Luke and others thought it might be thin, but the majority of players would be new here. Well, I hope this changes your attitude towards the residents... in a good direction.

Also of concern is the penalty given to the arrested or crusaded prize neck. Reduced holdings are not uncommon because it seems that other games may also occur with a death penalty. Fact Even GAO, items obtained within 30 minutes prior to death are scattered on the spot specifications, and negative corrections are applied to the status for a certain amount of time depending on how you die. But the skill level and status decrease not temporarily...... I don't think so. Maybe there is because the only MMO I know is this game. It hasn't been revealed how much status and level will drop, but I'm talking about this operation, so it's going to be a tough disposition.

I was gonna go hunting, but I stopped, and I'm walking around the city, no matter what. As far as I can tell, there's no confusion. If it's not arranged, I can leave without a problem, and if I'm not interested in the prize neck, then naturally, it's the same as always.

It just seems like we're talking about it, and I can feel the player's confusion. On the other hand, I had also heard remarks about actively hunting bounty necks. The prize money is pretty good, I'm sure it's good to be fruitful, and if you arrest or crusade the prize neck, they can get the title [Bounty Hunter].

Titles are given to players who meet certain conditions, and they can benefit from positive status corrections, etc. Some negative corrections come in, like this [prize neck].

How should I face my bounty neck? I think there is something about crusading bad players and contributing to maintaining law and order. It is also true that there is resistance to just actively searching and hunting. Regardless, PvP will kill each other first, and I want to avoid it as much as I can.

Well, even if I don't, it's a very beneficial story and someone will. Check the list at once, and if you get a chance, is it a policy? Whatever, it's solo, and I don't think I can beat a player and a Tyman like he's playing PK and being a bounty neck. With a short-circuited, insulting personality like Brute's yesterday, I can see a winning chance if I can lure this one into a place that will keep the interests of the land alive.

You're tired of thinking too much. Do you want to fill the map of the city today? There's still a place to go.

As I walked through the city working out [telescopic] and [signs perception], I noticed the noise approaching from across the crowd. Similar to when you're an instrumentally damaged player, but this one has screams mixed in the hustle and noise - screaming?

From behind the scream, the occasional anger also mixes. Wait, don't run away. Is that some kind of catch?

Eventually it showed itself. A light warrior man in leather armor. I got a one-handed sword in my hand. - Hey...

"Out of the way!

With a feathered look, the man runs down the street to this side as he wields his sword. From behind, a few men also pulled out their weapons. Is the first man being chased by these guys?

That was a mess, when I tried to stop at the end of the road. A fleeing man's sword struck the passers-by woman's arm. A screaming woman falls by holding down her slashed arm. The people around me rushing over.

Change of plans. I get stuck in front of a man running away.

"Out of the way!

The man stopped his sword from waving in the mess. It's not to scatter the disturbers, it's to kill me and rush over here.

Find out when. If it's from that position of the sword, the slash is probably from the diagonal upper section. If he's gonna come running at that speed, when's the right time for him to wave down his sword?

I jumped forward. Towards the inside of the trajectory that a man's sword would draw. The timing drove me crazy and a man rushed to wave his sword, but it's late.

Grab and pull the man's right hand with your left hand, while taking your right elbow to the man's jaw so it's on the counter. Clean hit, twist yourself upside down and turn your back on the man, making sure to take on the man's right arm with your right arm as you pull the grabbed wrist further and lower yourself a little.

Then he leaned his body forward and extended his bent knee. Shadows pass overhead,

"Whoops!?

At the same time as the sound of heavy objects slamming against the cobblestone, the man's voice rose. One shoulder. Judo moves. I still had three years of experience in department activities in secondary school, and I am a Tea Belt Grade 1 - I didn't take the first stage. At the time of secondary school, I was low in height, thin in body, and I was lucky to have a tea belt... I am aware of the subtleties. And then, in high school, I had a choice in class.

Nevertheless I've never had a single bearer so beautifully decided even though I have a blank. I guess it's because I'm more physically capable than real. Sometimes the momentum of the opponent's penetration was good.

Anyway, I span the man and stick the knife I pulled out to his neck. The right arm with the sword remains held down,

"He's the current perpetrator of the injury. You got something to say?

I'm just groaning and I haven't heard back. Was there a lot of damage to one shoulder? I was just getting a little worried.

Doh!

"Whew!?

Cheered from the surroundings. It came from the residents who were watching a series of catches. Uh, I'm surprised... but well, does that mean you did a good job in the sense of a heartbeat to the players? The result is O'Rei.

Goddamn it, did they cross the line?

That's how my voice was thrown. It was one of the guys chasing this guy.

"Beyond...?

I don't know what that means, I ask.

"That's him, that's him. Bounty Neck"

"Huh?"

That's what they say, look at the man. This is the prize neck?

When I put the knife in the sheath and opened the menu and turned on the marker setting, a green and red marker appeared over the man's head. Since the player should have been green and the NPC blue, does the marker with half green and half red mean the player's prize neck?

"What, you didn't use the marker? That's inconvenient."

"Sounds better than real, right?

With that said, the man shrugged his shoulder. Apparently, they didn't understand. If you mean convenience, it would be absolutely advantageous to have a marker out there. Well, I hope it's personal. Turn off marker settings again.

"So, what happens in this case?

As for the prize neck treatment. There are priorities for those who were watching first, maybe something like that.

The men look at each other and tilt their necks. Looks like my first case. The system itself was revealed today, so I can't help it.

And a guard showed up there. He looked at us, turned the bundle of paper he took out, checked something out, and he immediately understood the situation.

"We'll take over the prize neck."

Looks like a captain, said a man with a helmet that looks just a little better than the other guards.

"Please. So, I'm the one who seized him, but they were the first ones after him. In this case, are there any rules regarding the treatment of the prize money?

Make sure the guards take the prize-neck weapon, and I stand up and ask.

"The bounty will be paid to those who have captured the bounty neck, crusaded, and given their rights. It's you in this case. It's up to you what you do with the bounty you receive afterwards. Collecting the bounty is the headquarters of the Guard, but are you coming with us now?

"Right, please"

I don't know where the headquarters are so I decide to accompany them. So I saw the players chasing the bounty neck. Everyone shows their intentions by waving their hands or waving their heads sideways. I don't need a share, I guess. We couldn't finish it ourselves, but maybe it's a dead bully.

They left as they were. I guess I'll be looking for another bounty neck again.

"Oh, could you give me a moment?"

Trying to accompany the guards, I remembered. There is still a place where people are solidified among the inhabitants who have begun to scatter.

Make sure you scratch the crowd and get close to it. There was a woman with her arm cut off on her bounty neck earlier. He seems to be on first aid, but the pain hasn't come off. Instead, he's bleeding. The bleeding expression should have been subject to restrictions in the system, but is the NPC different?

"Here you go."

I took out one of my own potions and gave it to a woman. Things that have failed a little and are losing quality over over-the-counter products, but these scratches should heal well enough.

Don't wait for a response and go back to the guards.

"Why did you do that?

'Cause he's the victim of the untimely death of his hometown.'

Earlier the prize neck was a player. That hurt the inhabitants of this world. The atonement.

Naturally, we don't compensate players for all the nonstarts they've caused, and most importantly, it's impossible. So do what I can to the best of my ability.

More importantly, I had the means to do something about it. There's very little I can do to get the same kind of injuries in real life. No matter how much you want to do, call for a haemostatic or an ambulance at best.

But I can heal wounds here, too. I'm sorry, I want to do something about it, and I acted because I had the means to make it happen. It's hypocritical to do something like this. Some people make a scene about what it is, but if they put such a rettel on an action that contains their true intentions, they'll have to give back their raw warm gaze.

"... I don't think you're the only one carrying it... but no one likes to identify you with me."

but that's what the captain told me.

On this day, I won the title of [Bounty Hunter (Beginner)] and quite a prize.
