Episode 44: The Trip - Day 2 Evening

It's evening, so get ready for camp at the rest stop.

There's no demolition today, so you can relax. Dinner dedication... right, they said it was okay, but should I stop cooking meat just in case? I hope you hunt when you come out. But if it's just me and Quinn, there are other travelers. Considering the possibility of getting involved, the anxiety element is eliminated as much as possible.

Quinn will have bison meat done bone-by-bone, and I'll finish it with the bread I bought and tiocri chicken. Oh, tiocri chicken, delicious.

I had plenty of time to spare for the hassle of cooking. Well, what do we do?

Some of the people I camped with the day before at the rest stop. The number has decreased, I guess, because there are people in the village who have changed course while coming here.

Then the people from Zvand. Positionally in this berth, it would be the people who came out after noon because if we had left in the morning we could have reached the berth a little closer to Einfast. Is the number of carriages there because of the large number of merchants? The mercenary-like people of the escort can also be seen.

That's how I looked over the camp, and I put something unpleasant in my sight. They're assholes. As always, I'm in the corner, but can't I help but be in the same camp than the same one on my way?

But it seems to have gotten back on track in a bad way because time has passed. That tutor usually talks too. But what is it? It's good that you've noticed me, too, sometimes you look at me and you laugh at me, you laugh at me, you laugh out loud. I wonder if the wires on the brain have been further alleviated? I don't mind if I don't bother anyone.

But I'm free... and I can't do anything by myself. Looks like Quinn went out for dinner, too. I took care of the tools yesterday.

"Oh?"

That's when I noticed the carriage coming from Einfast. That's a lot of people. How many carriages are there? Are there eight? Since it is massive for a single merchant, is it a caravan?

I found something familiar in such a carriage. That's the [Freedom Warriors] carriage. The carriage passed me and stopped a little further. The members and those who don't look like them begin to prepare for the camp.

Looking at it blurry, I noticed a man looking at this one. He's the man who cut his golden hair with full body armor. Looks like a member of the [Freedom Warriors] regiment, but doesn't look particularly familiar. Maybe I was at a previous banquet, but I don't remember the faces of all of them.

When he realized I was watching, the man slipped away and went back to work. I wonder what it was.

Oh, yeah. Should I tell everyone about Brown Bear? I guess [Freedom Warriors] would be nice if we were to talk in this group. It would be the biggest force of war.

Get up and head to those who seem busy. Then I saw a man who looked familiar.

"Reddin, do you have a minute?

"Oh, isn't that fist? Were you in line here? This is convenient."

Reddin, who turned around, looked at me and said that. Convenient? What are you talking about? Well, okay. Let's put it behind us and prioritize business.

"Actually, a mercenary from the Zvand side told me there's about three brown bears wandering around here."

"Oh, I see."

Hmm, you knew?

"Meet your fellow mercenaries on the way. So I also heard you were there, you know what I mean when I say perch?

"Oh, last night, we got together. You knew him?

"A few times at work before. They're nice, though, aren't they?

Reddin laughs in fun. Yeah, I can easily imagine that you felt like it.

"Well, back to the point, one of the things that's convenient is Mr. Bear. In the meantime, I'm thinking of surrounding all the camp guys for a night watch. I wouldn't have done it without it."

With a slightly more difficult face, Reddin saw the merchants.

"This time the escort is for a reason. Looks like the merchants are after us."

"Are they after you? What's the situation?

"Sounds like harassment from commercial enemies or obstruction. There was nothing last night, but I was wondering if there was any movement this time because it was in front of the town."

So, Reddin puts his gaze back here.

"We can't let that bother our surroundings, so we're talking about protecting the other travelers together. That's why I'd appreciate a hand."

"Oh, I don't mind that"

I'm going to sleep here anyway. I have no objection to helping each other.

"So, here's another thing. Fist, have you had any trouble on this trip?

There's only one thing that seems to fall under that question.

"I rubbed it a little with a bunch of players. But who told you that?

It was a fight between players, and when I could rub it, there were no other players. Did you even hear that from the traveler who was there then?

"From whom? There's a thread going on about this, all right? Fist and other outward paths are upset, in Slate."

... It was the most thoughtful feeling I could think of that it was a silly slatey. But that convinced me. Is that why they were looking at us and nibbling?

"Are you thrilled?

"Right there. There was a lot of advocacy, though. Surprisingly, we have a lot of allies, don't we? I guess my everyday deeds said things."

I was interested to see what was going on, but it sounds stupid to see it anyway. I'm only certain that I'm going to feel sick.

"So, for once, I'm giving instructions by not letting the crew out that way... Wait a minute"

I interrupted the conversation and turned to those without Reddin. Probably a party chat. In a few moments Reddin will see this one again.

"So, I think it's all about you, but there's nothing about you that seems to be blowing around. Right here. Do you know which way it is?

"Maybe they're the ones that are solidifying on the outside over there. Number is ten."

Too childish to do...... are they really junior high school students with that...... there is an age limit for getting a GAO account and it is more than junior high school. I mean, even 'to that extent' is definitely middle school. I don't think even elementary school kids are that stupid.

"I also gave instructions to keep it flowing appropriately. I'm telling you to make a video of the evidence."

"Video? Of what?

"It's settled, I'm just bragging about a lie. To prove your innocence. What those guys say is that if you were walking down the road, the quote you've attributed to me, you put a wolf on it and killed your people, but that's not true, is it?

Oh, that's how you made it up. I guess it's better to have more voices than just me and those players over there.

Hmm? Is that what Ryer said back then about this? But he wouldn't be able to view the bulletin board if he was a resident.

"That's why I'm leaving a video with the fact that I'm blowing my lies around."

"I don't have to go that far. Why don't you just leave me alone?

I don't think it's worth it just to deal with them. Wouldn't it be nice to recommend it through?

But when I said that, Reddin got grumpy.

"Make it look stupid. Can you leave Dachi out of what he says is bad? Whatever the facts are, I'm not human enough to keep my mouth shut knowing they're saying it badly on a claim level. And if you leave it alone, that rating will settle in, okay? If he knew you, he wouldn't fool you, but there are people everywhere who pepper that kind of thing. That would interfere with activities within the GAO, wouldn't it?

Uh, well. I guess that means the first players I meet treat me with that kind of rating in mind. Was this a shallow idea of mine? Unlike the Real Anonymous Bulletin Board, you don't have a zero chance to meet the guy who viewed it in person, here.

"Thanks, it'll take a lot of work"

"Hey, I mean fine. Well, on this matter... you're stuffing up the story because you shouldn't speak directly. Still, I was hoping you'd know. We'll take care of it later."

To thank you, Reddin told me something quite reliable. But you think it's me, "the others"?

"Who else do we involve?"

"Captain!"

Another voice ran to block my voice.

"What the hell are you talking about!?

It was the man with the full body armor who came. That's the guy who was looking at me earlier. The guy noticed me and it was stiff, but it still restarts and eats Reddin.

"Why are you letting those guys go wild!?

"You explained that. Let them dig a good grave. To a level where you'll never crawl."

"So, but until then, leave it that way!?

Maybe it's this sword screen about me, but how could this guy be so desperate to get here? And this voice, it's like I've heard it somewhere.

"It's time for patience. I'll make sure they get what they deserve. So until then, I'm patient. All right, Brute?

... what?

"Brute......?

I remember that name. It used to be a habit of interrupting in a hunting guild. The man who made me suffer from death matches because he had set up a dark fight the night I cautioned him. You didn't even look at her face because she was wearing a full-face helm then.

So, why is he so angry that I'm being slapped on the bulletin board? Normally, aren't you on the side of hitting me on the ass horse?

Did you hear me squeal my name, man - Brute looked like he was uncomfortable,

"Oh, you know, it's... it's been a while..."

And he bowed his head carefully.

When I heard about it, he said that there was a lot going on at the time, Brute, in real life, and he was playing GAO with both his worries. That's what happened because I preached at that time, but they've been rough for a while since. He just thought that if he did anything to the resident, he would kill me, and that he belonged to the [Freedom Warriors] where he was rambling the beast opponent on the field, with the Reddins by chance, to various citations that happened at that time. He seems calm after that.

"No, at that time, I'm really sorry"

"It's over now. Besides, if I hadn't bothered the residents since then, I wouldn't have said anything anyway."

Watching Brute deeply apologize, I'm surrounded by wonder if this is what makes the players who have even set up the darkness so round.

"Oh, that's what happened between you guys."

Reddin had also listened to Brute's confession with interest.

"In fact, it was the captain who picked me up and led me, but it was Mr. Fist who inspired me to do so. If Mr. Fist hadn't noticed me then, I would still be bothering you everywhere, and if I had, the captain wouldn't have picked me up... so now I'm thankful to Mr. Fist. Those guys..."

Brute squeezing out her voice in regret. Yeah, I'm sorry to say it, but give me a break... and so is being praised for being strong or awesome, but dying all over my body. Because I know perfectly well that Brute is now regenerated and not offended by a series of words and actions.

"I know what it's like to want to be in the fist with a past like that. I'm patient now. For Fist's sake, right?

"... ok. I'm going to focus on my work now."

Reddin tells me that Brute finally seems to have settled down. Thanks again, Brute walked away. I guess I'll go back to my place.

"Hold on... you'll change if you change. Looks like someone else."

"I haven't heard a lot of real things going on in there, and I can't tell you, but he's still young. Looks like there was a lot of goth in the house and it was pretty much there, but that one seems to have settled down now, and I guess I got my mental room back. I'm serious about running mercenaries, and I can take care of my residents' children."

Unexpectedly groaning, Reddin said with his gentle eyes pointed at Brute's back. That guy, he's really reborn.

Even with me, I'm not willing to pry real life, but I feel like I know those factors make it rough. That's the kind of person we have in our company. It's just, well, the circumstance is completely irrelevant to others. Nor does it mean you can scatter it all around you for that reason. That said, I may not be able to say such a beautiful thing when I'm a party to it. I don't know what it's like to be a party until I try.

"Aoleen, keep the Fist thing thorough with the team. Then call the residents so they don't notice. Stay down about the escort entanglement, and convince Brownbear to come under our protection. Don't forget to follow up on Fist then. If you're an Einfast resident, I'm sure no one will swallow Fist's bad reputation, just in case."

"Okay. So, what about all the scraps in question?

Aoleen vomits spicy words with a beautiful face. Leave me alone, and Reddin snorted.

"When you realize you're collecting residents, drive them back without dealing with them. I don't have a hobby for putting worms in my nose. Fist and the wolf freaked out and couldn't do anything. Both without balls. A few members of Kowamoto's crew, intimidating you, you're gonna get your ass all fucked up."

"Okay. I'll call the captain then."

"What do you mean? Yikes!? Nice guy, huh? Me!?

"It's a joke. Then I'll go."

Aoleen began to move with a smile on her face. Something's wrong, Reddin, you're not getting your head up on Aoleen. You mean it's laid on your ass? Other members are laughing at it.

"What the fuck are you laughing at!? Work on it!

Reddin's fury scattered the members with shrieks and deliberate screams.

Well, I guess I can help you consolidate your protection, too.
