Darkness swallowed the battlefield.

The moment Azrael accepted the System’s prompt, black energy erupted from the Oblivion Iron Sword, spreading across the ruined street like ink flowing through water. Every sound disappeared. The roaring of the Crimson Devourer, the crackling of flames, even the cries of the survivors inside the mall—all of it faded into absolute silence.
Only Azrael remained.
The black halo above his head rotated slowly, releasing wisps of dark energy that coiled around his body like living serpents.

"So that’s how you’re staying alive."
The Crimson Devourer struggled against Seraphina’s Genesis Chains, its crystal-covered muscles bulging as it tried to tear itself free.
"You... cannot stop... the King’s will!"

Seraphina gritted her teeth.
Her golden halo burned brighter, but so did the strain on her body.
Blood trickled from the corner of her lips.
The chains were beginning to crack.
"Azrael..." she whispered.

He nodded.

The air rippled as he appeared directly in front of the Devourer’s chest.
The monster’s crimson eye widened.
Its instincts screamed at it to retreat.
But Genesis Chains held it firmly in place.
Azrael raised the sword.
Black lightning danced across its edge.
For the first time since obtaining the Celestial Evolution System...
He truly understood his Authority.
Oblivion wasn’t about destruction.
Destruction left fragments behind.
Oblivion...
Left nothing.
"Oblivion Severance."
He swung.
There was no massive explosion.
No earth-shattering shockwave.
The sword passed through the crimson core as smoothly as a blade passing through water.
The world fell silent.
The glowing eye embedded in the Devourer’s chest slowly split into two perfect halves.
The crimson light within it flickered.
Then vanished.

The Crimson Devourer’s body froze.
Its enormous form trembled violently.

Its voice had lost all arrogance.

Cracks spread across its crystal armor.

Azrael stepped back as the giant monster collapsed onto one knee.
The Devourer looked up at the twins.

Unlike the previous chests, this one was forged from obsidian and gold, with two angelic wings engraved across its lid.

Azrael rubbed his hands together.
"This is the exciting part."

Azrael reached for it.
The moment both twins touched the scroll together, it dissolved into countless motes of light.
