Lana gently stroked her long green hair, smiling affectionately.

"There, there... my good spirit. You’ve been such an obedient girl. I love you so much."

The moment those words reached Myra’s ears, her face lit up with the brightest smile imaginable.

Meanwhile, Mr. Crow rolled his eyes dramatically before muttering under his breath,

"Hypocrite."

Lana completely ignored him. Instead, she turned toward Lucian with a thoughtful expression.

"If I agree to meet Phillip, do you think he’ll compensate me with money or maybe even some properties?"

Lucian tilted his head for a moment before answering honestly. "I’d say there’s about a ninety percent chance."

The instant those words left his mouth, Lana’s eyes sparkled brightly.

"Since there’s a ninety percent chance, how can I possibly reject such an easy source of income? I’m ready to meet him."

"Lana..."

Lucian let out a helpless sigh.

"If it’s only about money, then I can simply give you..."

Before he could finish speaking, Lana immediately interrupted him.

"I’m not interested in your money. I’m far more interested in earning something with my own efforts."

Lucian stared at her for a moment before smiling helplessly. "Alright. I understand."

He finally backed down without arguing any further. Lana slowly closed her eyes.

Sleepiness overwhelmed her. Her eyelids felt incredibly heavy, and before long, she drifted into a peaceful sleep.

Unfortunately, Lucian’s suspicions proved correct. By the end of the night, Lana developed a fever.

After remaining submerged in freezing cold water for such a long time, it had been almost inevitable.

Thankfully, the healing light continuously supported her recovery.

Although she suffered from a mild fever and overwhelming weakness, she never experienced any real pain.

It still took her two entire days before she recovered completely.

By the time she opened her eyes on the third morning, every trace of sickness had disappeared.

Not only had her body recovered... it felt stronger than ever before.

She could literally feel explosive power flowing through every muscle.

’I... actually became stronger.’

Unable to suppress her curiosity, Lana immediately headed toward the university’s training grounds.

The crisp morning air brushed against her face as she arrived before the enormous reinforced punching bags used by cultivators.

Without any hesitation, she clenched her fist. Boom!

Her punch landed squarely against the ten-thousand-kilogram punching bag.

A deafening explosion echoed throughout the training ground.

The massive punching bag instantly burst apart, scattering torn leather and stuffing in every direction.

Everyone stared blankly. Lana blinked. ’That... wasn’t supposed to happen.’

She awkwardly walked toward another reinforced punching bag.

This one weighed fifty thousand kilograms. Taking a deep breath, she punched once more. Boom!

The second punching bag exploded just as spectacularly.

Leather fragments flew through the air while dust covered the entire arena.

Everyone present froze.

Axel, Lucian, Betty, and the rest of the students stood there with their mouths hanging open.

They were completely speechless. Moments later, excitement filled everyone’s faces.

Betty tightly clenched her fists. "I have to become stronger."

Layla nodded with burning determination. "Me too."

Without wasting another second, both of them immediately headed into closed-door cultivation.

Richard exchanged a glance with Quinn before smiling bitterly.

"I don’t want to be left behind either."

"Neither do I."

The two of them also left to continue their cultivation. Only Fay remained behind.

She folded both of her arms before rolling her eyes. "What a hypocrite."

Lana frowned. She first turned toward Axel.

"Uncle, I have something I want to discuss with Fay alone. You should go ahead."

Axel glanced between the two women before nodding. "Alright. Don’t overdo it."

Once everyone else had left, Lana finally faced Fay directly.

A cool breeze swept through the nearly empty training ground as silence settled between them.

Lana broke it first.

"I thought whatever misunderstanding existed between us had already been resolved. Fay, I truly don’t understand you sometimes. Can you tell me why you’re constantly taunting me?"

Fay merely rolled her eyes again. "Doesn’t your conscience hurt?"

Lana’s expression darkened. "What do you mean?"

"Don’t act as though you’re innocent. I know you’ve been hiding your resentment toward Wade all along. After all, Wade and Christina were innocent."

The moment those words left Fay’s mouth, Lana froze for a brief second. She stared at Fay as though she were looking at someone who had completely lost her mind.

After a long pause, she finally spoke. "Are you serious?"

Fay remained silent. Her silence alone was enough to answer the question.

Lana suddenly let out a soft chuckle.

"Let me guess. Someone gave you some kind of so-called proof claiming that Wade and Christina were innocent."

The color instantly drained from Fay’s face. Her eyes widened in shock as she pointed a trembling finger toward Lana. "How... how do you know?"

She suddenly paused before realization struck her.

"Oh, wait... so you knew all along! So what’s next? Scheming against me as you did to Wade and Christina, and then prove that I am a GA member too. Lana, I’m warning you. If you dare take even a single step against me, I’ll ask my family to take revenge on you."

Lana couldn’t help but laugh. The amusement in her eyes was mixed with disappointment.

"That’s very unfortunate for you because I wasn’t even planning to do that."

She slowly folded her arms across her chest. "However, I honestly think you’re far too naive."

She stared directly into Fay’s eyes. "Do you truly believe that with all my accusations, I could fool the government, the police, and even the Mystical Department?"

The question left Fay speechless. Her lips parted slightly, yet no words came out.

Lana continued in a calm, almost mocking tone.

"If I really possessed that kind of influence, then I could frame the government itself whenever I wanted."

Fay frowned deeply. "You’re talking nonsense now. Don’t use such a ridiculous example."

Lana merely shrugged. "You witnessed everything with your own eyes."

Her voice gradually became colder. "You saw Wade reveal his true colors. You saw him expose himself as the real traitor."

Fay instinctively clenched both of her fists. "But Wade..."
