To be honest, of all the Semi-Divine Artifacts Zhang Yi had encountered and possessed,

this incomplete Upper Class Semi-Divine Artifact he saw today—the Plane Teleportation Gate—had the most effects by far.

It had five effects displayed alone.

And that wasn’t even counting the unrevealed effects, since it was still incomplete!

However, the first five effects were all interrelated, together forming the instructions on how to use this Divine Artifact.

Besides, it was a Divine Artifact related to Space, so it wasn’t surprising that it had so many effects.

The things that truly troubled Zhang Yi were two points in particular.

First, the Plane Teleportation Gate accumulated Space Origin far too slowly!

This was unacceptable to Zhang Yi!

And judging by the Vampire Ancestor’s reaction,

Vampire Ancestor Cain himself probably didn’t know that someone else had left a hidden trap in this incomplete Upper Class Semi-Divine Artifact.

According to the information revealed by a Vampire Viscount who had surrendered,

Vampire Ancestor Cain had discovered this incomplete Plane Teleportation Gate in a ruin within the Large Dark Plane.

As for how he found it, or the circumstances of its discovery?

Presumably, only the veteran Vampire Counts would know such information.

After Vanguard Corps Commander Eric had slain several thousand elite Vampire Soldiers and two Vampire Counts, he had gained a deeper understanding of the Law he comprehended and entered seclusion.

Acting on the principle of not letting anything go to waste,

and also because there were still too few Heroic Spirits in his Hall of Heroic Spirits, Zhang Yi had placed the souls of Vampire Count Elvin and Vampire Count Modofi under the [Ancient Heaven] for suppression.

Once their suppression was complete and they were moved into the Hall of Heroic Spirits to be refined into Heroic Spirits,

Zhang Yi would then be able to learn the specific information he was after.

Instead, after growing wary upon learning that the Plane Teleportation Gate contained someone else’s hidden trap,

Zhang Yi suddenly had another idea.

’Since this Large Dark Plane was able to support Vampire Ancestor Cain and so many Vampire Counts, and an incomplete Plane Teleportation Gate with a hidden trap has also appeared here...’

Zhang Yi traveled to the very highest point of the Large Dark Plane, where he saw the Blood Moon that served as the plane’s only source of light.

To be honest, while Zhang Yi had been possessing Elf High Priest Shamiel,

he had been shocked to see Vampire Ancestor Cain manipulating the Blood Moon, forcing it to descend.

In Zhang Yi’s understanding, even if a moon wasn’t as powerful as a sun, it was still a paramount celestial body. How could it possibly be controlled by a mere Ninth Transformation Demigod?

Then, Zhang Yi realized,

he was in a High Magic Plane.

For a Ninth Transformation Demigod who had operated within this Large Dark Plane for many years, wasn’t it perfectly normal to be able to control everything within it?

But even so,

Zhang Yi remained very curious about the Blood Moon.

Therefore, after inspecting the information on the Upper Class Semi-Divine Artifact—the Plane Teleportation Gate—

Zhang Yi traveled to the highest point of the Large Dark Plane to inspect the information on the Blood Moon!

the Blood Moon now had even more cracks marring its surface!

Unfortunately, the plane was downgraded after a great war.

It was later discovered by Vampire Ancestor Cain. By invading other Magic Planes and using their creatures and planar origins as blood sacrifices to the moon, he forcibly infused it with the Blood Law he had comprehended. This is how the natural moon was gradually transformed into the artificial Blood Moon.

Through long-term blood sacrifices, Vampire Ancestor Cain gained partial authority over the Blood Moon, allowing him to control it to a certain extent.

Vampire Ancestor Cain is now dead, and the Soul Mark and Mark of Law he left within the Blood Moon are gradually fading.

The Dark Law, Moon Law, and Blood Law within the moon are now in conflict, leaving it on the verge of going berserk.

In the aftermath, the Blood Moon’s Frenzy will cause continuous, irreversible damage to the entire Dark Plane.]
