Wang Feng immediately replied, "Okay. Can I head toward the outer perimeter?"

"Of course, but be careful. The winds are stronger on the perimeter!" Qin Haonan replied.

"I understand. Thank you, Sir, for bringing me into Peach Blossom Base!" Wang Feng said gratefully.

"Alright, if you want to thank someone, thank our Boss. I’m going back to rest!" Qin Haonan waved his hand and left.

Wang Feng returned to his bamboo house and lay down on the steady bamboo bed, but for a moment, he found he couldn’t fall asleep.

He had been sleeping on a bamboo raft that was constantly rocking, and he seemed to have grown accustomed to the motion. Now that it was suddenly gone, he felt a bit unsettled.

He sat up again, put on his raincoat and rain boots, and headed outside.

While waiting for his clothes to dry on the yacht earlier, Qin Haonan had given him a basic rundown of the base, and Wang Feng had been so shocked he’d gone numb.
