The Sea of Knowledge is said to be a deep well, but from afar, it looks more like a tall tower, a golden tower, perhaps the only complete structure in the Ninth Dimension.

A pale blue beam of light pierces through the heavens from above the well.

Kyle hopes to approach the Sea of Knowledge, his eyes flickering with emotion: "Master, how should we use this to leave the Ninth Dimension?"

Su Changxing shook his head and said, "I’m not quite sure, but we should know once we get there. This thing is also a part of the Doomsday Game, and a pillar of the Ninth Dimension. It is because of its existence that this space hasn’t crumbled."

Arriving here.

The ground is still densely covered with insect corpses, A22’s slash seemed to cover this entire space, and not a single insect survived intact.

Mi, listening to Su Changxing’s words, suddenly stopped in her tracks, turned around to look at them, and said gravely:

"We shouldn’t go there yet, I sense that divine spirit exists among us!"

Du’an frowned: "That divine spirit? Who are you referring to?"

Mi replied seriously:

"Of course I’m referring to the divine spirit that descended on Sindaga. Just a moment ago, for an instant, I felt his aura, it was faint but very real. I’ve been controlled before, so I’m familiar with that kind of aura, it must be him!"

Su Changxing was taken aback by Mi’s words, which just confirmed his suspicions, though his earlier suspect was Mi. If she really were that divine spirit, she wouldn’t reveal it herself.

He surveyed his four priests, reasoning that they had all become his priests and should have no connection to that divine spirit.

But who can say for sure?

All indications showed that the divine spirit had left a means among them.

Mi was highly likely.

She possibly wasn’t fully controlled, so she could clearly sense the presence of that divine spirit, just couldn’t imagine that the divine spirit originated from herself.

Su Changxing’s vigilance heightened as he thought of this, and he asked Mi, "Do you feel anything unusual?"

Mi’s body was on the verge of collapse, sprouting ten to twenty long and short purple tentacles, while the mechanical heart in her chest rotated incessantly.

"You suspect me?" Mi slightly frowned, then said, "Suspecting is reasonable, but I can only say it’s not me. My life force is nearing its end, I’m of little value now."

Su Changxing stared at her intensely, then pursed his lips and smiled, "I trust you. If that divine spirit truly exists among us, his aim must not be us, but something in this Ninth Dimension."

Speaking, he looked up at the Sea of Knowledge and felt he had a clue. If the divine spirit had any purpose, it would probably be the Sea of Knowledge.

However, the insects’ target isn’t the Sea of Knowledge but some space behind A22.

They seem unable to damage the Sea of Knowledge either.

"Who do you think that divine spirit resides in among us?" Su Changxing smiled lightly and asked, seemingly relaxed.

Mi looked around and shook her head, saying, "I’m not too sure either, but I can feel it’s among us, its presence becoming more evident, just a moment ago I felt it."

Sea of Knowledge!

The divine spirit’s target is the Sea of Knowledge.

Su Changxing was certain, based on logical deduction and intuition confirmed as much.

"We mustn’t proceed further." He turned and said.

Bruce showed a puzzled expression: "Why? Aren’t we almost there? Turning back now?"

Su Changxing didn’t hold back, directly stating, "Mi is right, there’s a divine spirit among us, and its target is the Sea of Knowledge, using us to reach it."

"So we mustn’t go, going might cause problems, better to head back before the next wave of insects arrives."

His thought was simple, since that divine spirit intended to do this, he wouldn’t allow it to succeed.

Mi contemplated and said, "Is it that serious? After so long, the divine spirit only made a slight move now, maybe it just left some minor means."

Kelsey concurred, saying, "Yes, if we head back now, we might not get another chance to come."

The Sea of Knowledge lay before them, having come such a long way, turning back now didn’t make much sense.

Moreover, returning might be even more perilous, perhaps encountering the next wave of insect surge.

Su Changxing didn’t say much, turned to lead them back, "No, we’ll head back, there’s no hurry, we still don’t know what the situation at the well is."

"If not, we can return during the next insect surge."

An ongoing premonition kept telling him not to proceed.

He couldn’t fathom where this premonition came from or how it was produced.

But he believed it.

He had always trusted his intuition.

Mi had no objections. She was already at death’s door, and dying here wouldn’t be an issue for her.

Bruce and the other four priests naturally had no objections either, they heeded Su Changxing’s words without question, regardless of their disposition, he was an exalted divine presence to them, above all else.

Mi somewhat regretfully said, "Are you really not going? This might be your only chance to leave, it’s too dangerous here, next time you might not even reach here."

Su Changxing chuckled lightly, "You’re not afraid of death, what should I fear? Do you really think all humans are cowardly and afraid of death?"

At this moment, Kelsey awkwardly said, "Master, my ability might not hold until we go back, if we’re exposed, the half-dead insects nearby might all attack us."

Su Changxing gave him a deep look, contemplatively asked, "You mean to say we should proceed to the Sea of Knowledge?"

Kelsey’s face showed hesitation, then sincerely said, "Yes, we’ve already come this far, going back now would be a waste."

"Even if the divine spirit’s target is the Sea of Knowledge, what does that have to do with us, we’re just here to leave."

Bai Shan nodded, agreeing, "Kelsey is right, Master, I also think we should go to the Sea of Knowledge."

They were expressions of extreme desire, all thoughts and actions based on self-interest, the essence of human nature.

Su Changxing sighed slowly, gravely said, "No harm in saying, I have a bad premonition that divine spirit might be related to the Insect Race."

"Thinking back, that high-level insect wasn’t unable to kill me, it deliberately let me go, like it was acting."

"Kelsey, you should be able to see that, right?"
