Chapter 800 - 156: The Way Out
"You don’t need to say anything."
Su Changxing stood behind him, carrying a slender Scythe on his shoulder, speaking slowly and unhurriedly, his voice spreading through the entire cemetery.
The creatures in the cemetery were in complete chaos. Ghosts of all sizes were scurrying everywhere, bumping into each other from time to time and letting out shrill screams.
A little boy with pale skin and only an upper body was still clawing a hole in the ground, trying to crawl down, looking extremely frightened.
Desperate Terror was spreading.

...
Su Changxing was full of question marks, having never expected it to be this easy to make these Undead creatures feel Terror.
The Undead creatures here seemed to possess higher intelligence than Undead in ordinary places, and only because of this higher intelligence could they feel fear.
This was a kind of emotion-laden intelligence, beyond what he’d previously understood about Undead creatures.
Undead Realm?
Su Changxing thought of that place—paradise for dead creatures. Could this place have something to do with the Undead Realm?
"But creatures of the Undead Realm should all be very powerful. They shouldn’t be this weak."
While the Undead below were in complete disarray, Su Changxing shouted down to them, "Does any of you know how to get out of here?"
The chaos fell silent. These Undead creatures looked at each other, staring wide-eyed, none of them knew the answer, and none of them had ever thought about the question.
They weren’t human; they wouldn’t think about how to leave. This place was like a homeland to them.
Although these Undead didn’t really have the concept of "homeland," that was roughly what it meant.
The reason Su Changxing questioned these Undead was because he genuinely didn’t know how to leave. This place was on Blue Star, yet it belonged to an Alternate Space, as if two spaces were overlapping one another.
These Undead, as the native creatures here, should roughly know how to leave, because they needed to go out and hunt creatures with fresh blood, in order to continuously grow stronger.
But some things couldn’t be inferred with common sense. After all, the Undead here all possessed no small amount of intelligence; even some low-Level Undead had intelligence.
"It’s very comfortable here, Master."
Tao Yi spoke in a hoarse voice, casting a strange, bewitching gaze at the surrounding Undead and licking his lips unconsciously.
Before Su Changxing could speak, Tao Yi’s body grew larger, and he swallowed an entire Ghost beside him in one bite. Thick blood-red mist seeped from the corner of his mouth, carrying countless wails that gradually weakened.
The other Undead were even more terrified at the sight of Tao Yi. They had never imagined there could be a creature that looked so horrifying.
Su Changxing tried using "Pastoral Spirit" to control the Ghosts in the cemetery, but found it didn’t work, because they possessed excessively high intelligence and resisted on their own.
"Pastoral Spirit" itself was still too low-Level.
Seeing Tao Yi like this, Su Changxing felt a bit of a headache and instructed, "Stop eating random things. Be careful you don’t ruin your stomach. Go ask them who knows how to get out. You’re the same kind, so communication should be easier, right?"
"In theory, it should be."
He sat down to rest on the top of a broken statue in the cemetery, carefully feeling out the condition of his body.
Compared to before, he had essentially recombined himself once; there had to be differences in all aspects.
Yet he didn’t feel any—almost as if there were no changes compared to before.
His Mysteriousness had originally dropped to around four hundred thousand because his Faith had been completely consumed, but later it rapidly replenished, and he now had over a million Mysteriousness again.
He estimated that more followers had joined the All Beings Sect, more people had gone to Maelon from other places.
Under heavy oppression there must be resistance. Soon battle erupted in the cemetery. Tao Yi himself possessed very strong power; these Undead were no match for him, and they themselves had little sense of cooperation among one another.
Their nature was mostly brutal, evil, selfish. Fighting and devouring each other was common.
"I know how to get out!"
A weak voice came, very thin and delicate.
Su Changxing followed the sound. It was a silver-white wooden puppet, its body torn and dirty, holding a tattered Hua san.
The puppet walked up to Su Changxing, raised its head, and cast a hopeful look as it said, "Sir, I know how to get out. I originally came in from the outside, so I know. Outside there are humans wandering around just like you, but they’re very frightening. They keep launching attacks on us."
"Frightening?" Su Changxing lifted an eyebrow, finding it strange that an Undead creature would say humans are frightening. Just how mad must that group of humans be?
"Yes, so war is constantly breaking out outside. I was scared and fled all the way in here," the puppet said in an icy, cold tone.
It didn’t like fighting, didn’t like killing or eating people; it just wanted to quietly do other things.
Of course, it wasn’t exactly quiet here either. Undead were restless creatures; they always stirred up trouble—arguing, cursing, and slaughtering each other at the slightest provocation.
Every day, a few faces would vanish and a few new ones would appear. In the cemetery, that was normal.
Until the uninvited guest Su Changxing arrived and killed their leader in an extremely clean and decisive way.
Before Su Changxing came, their leader had been regarded as an invincible existence, synonymous with strength. It was also thanks to his existence that the cemetery had maintained a certain Order; otherwise, it would have been a total mess long ago.
This was why these Undead were so terrified of Su Changxing. Such terrifying strength appearing in a human was something they should fear.
After all, these humans had their hearts set on killing them, even if they themselves didn’t make the first move or provoke anyone.
"Then tell me, how do you get out of here?" Su Changxing looked at the delicate puppet and asked.
This counted as a nice gain. He’d only been testing the waters; he hadn’t expected any Undead to actually know, which would save him a lot of effort.
A smart person should find ways to save effort.
The puppet’s expression remained blank as it looked toward the direction behind and said, "Just keep walking straight through that black forest and you’ll reach the outside."
Su Changxing raised an eyebrow. "That’s all it takes to get out?"
He hadn’t expected it to be so simple, yet he didn’t feel the puppet was lying. It had neither the need nor the reason to deceive him.
The puppet nodded. "Yes, just walk straight and you can leave. But there are a great number of low-Level Undead outside—those are what the lord prepared to deal with the human army outside."
