Global Survival: I Have Endless Skeletons

Chapter 502: Never Saw It Coming (Bonus - )

Whoosh!

The Scorpion King vanished from his spot like a phantom, appearing behind the undead Elite Jackal and striking fiercely with terrifying speed.

His movement was so fast that the surrounding air seemed to distort from the force of his sudden acceleration.

[Royal Phantom Claw]

Just like before, he targeted their only weakness, their head, but no matter how fast he was, he couldn’t be quicker than Thoren’s command.

The moment the Scorpion King’s attack shifted toward the undead Elite Jackal’s head, Thoren immediately issued his command through the mental link.

At the last second, the undead Elite Jackal Beastman raised his spike club to defend its head, positioning the weapon directly between himself and the incoming attack.

Bang!

The King’s terrifying claw tried to tear through its chest, but the Peak Grade Bronze armor protected its chest from being completely shattered.

The impact still caused the armor to tremble violently, while the force behind the attack sent the undead Elite Jackal Beastman flying backward like a broken kite.

The black cloak was ripped apart, and a deep crack appeared on the armor while the undead Elite Jackal was sent flying.

Its body crashed through several piles of rubble before finally slamming into the remains of a stone building.

Whoosh!

The King vanished once again, his speed getting faster with each attack as he refused to give the undead any opportunity to surround him.

His movements became increasingly difficult to follow, leaving only brief flashes of his figure whenever he crossed the battlefield.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

For a minute, the only sound in the ruins was the terrifying claw and fist of the King’s attacks slamming into the undead.

Each collision created powerful shockwaves that scattered dust and broken stones across the battlefield.

Like broken arrows, the undead were sent flying in every corner of the ruins. Their bodies crashed through ruined walls and shattered buildings.

Against such a terrifying creature, any Awakener would have been killed many times without leaving a corpse behind.

The Scorpion King’s physical strength, speed, and combat experience had reached a frightening level.

Fortunately for Thoren, he only needed to depend on his undead for battle.

As long as their bodies remained intact and their soul fire continued burning, they could continue fighting without experiencing fear, exhaustion, or hesitation.

Watching the enraged Scorpion King, he knitted his brow and thought for a moment.

His eyes remained fixed on the battlefield as he carefully observed every movement.

He thought with the introduction of the undead Kaien, the tide of battle would shift in his favor.

Unfortunately, he was wrong.

Unlike the Horn Lizard King, who failed to react quickly to the change in his battle tactics, the Scorpion King proved why he was the ruler of the desert.

His combat instincts were extremely sharp, and after discovering the presence of Kaien, he had immediately adjusted his movements to prevent the assassin from gaining another clean opportunity.

Apart from the slight injury caused by the undead Kaien, he had never gained any advantage.

Instead, the Scorpion King continued to suppress the strongest undead through his overwhelming physical strength, forcing them to defend repeatedly.

Staring at the battle, he could see cracks appearing on the armor of his undead soldiers. The once-pristine Peak Grade Bronze equipment was already showing clear signs of damage.

"If this continues, it is only a matter of time before he starts killing them one after another."

"I need to change my tactics," he muttered and began to issue a series of commands to his undead through the mental link.

On the battlefield, only three vanguard undead were still standing in front of the Scorpion King.

The others had either been sent flying across the ruins or were slowly recovering from the King’s devastating attacks.

The Scorpion King shifted his crimson eyes toward the three undead like a hunter locking onto its prey.

Whoosh!

He vanished from his spot, targeting the center undead, which was the undead Guild Captain.

Beside it was the undead Storm Tyrant, covered in dust and sand from the previous exchange.

Some of its bones had broken, dangling back and forth with every movement, while on the other side stood one of the undead Scorpion Commanders.

Despite their battered condition, the three undead remained firmly in position under Thoren’s command.

Just as the Scorpion King arrived before the undead Guild Captain and struck with his terrifying fist, the undead Storm Tyrant and undead Scorpion Commander struck at the same time.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The undead Guild Captain was sent flying backward while the undead Storm Tyrant’s hammer slammed into the lower side of the Scorpion King.

The massive impact distorted his body and shattered the scales protecting his side.

Ahhhh!

All the scales on his side were crushed into fragments, and a miserable scream escaped from the Scorpion King.

His body staggered sideways as intense pain surged through his nerves, but the scream had barely left his mouth when the attack from the undead Scorpion Commander landed from the other side.

Ahhhh!

The Scorpion King stumbled backward, and shock appeared on his face.

He had never expected the human to react to his battle tempo so quickly, much less coordinate three different undead to attack him simultaneously.

Before he could even recover from the pain, undead Kaien appeared behind him from his shadow and struck.

Its two daggers plunged deep into his back.

’T-This...’

The Scorpion King’s eyes widened as he immediately remembered what was happening. H

is battle instincts screamed at him that the assassin was once again targeting him from his blind spot.

Swiftly, he turned to kill the undead assassin.

Unfortunately, it was long gone.

The undead Kaien had already vanished into the shadow before the Scorpion King could complete his movement, leaving behind only the pain from the two deep wounds in his back.

Without giving the Scorpion King time to react after failing to find the undead assassin, the undead Scorpion Commander struck once again.

Fast and brutal.

The massive sword went straight for the neck, carrying enough force to sever his head if the attack landed cleanly.

’Danger!’

The Scorpion King reacted quickly and responded with a palm strike to deflect the attack.

His palm slammed against the side of the massive sword with frightening precision, forcing its trajectory away from his neck.

Bang!

Slapping the massive sword to the side, the massive hammer of the undead Storm Tyrant was already on him, going straight for his knee.

Instantly, all the instincts of the Scorpion King screamed inside his mind. Without hesitation, he leaped forward into the air, narrowly avoiding the deadly hammer.

He managed to evade the devastating strike, but what awaited him in the air was something he never saw coming.

Boom!
