Professor Liang’s smile faded as his expression became serious. "You see, the dungeon gate that appeared today may not be an abnormal beast-tide gate."

Xingluo widened her eyes and leaned forward. "Really, Professor? Then what is it?"

Wuxia glanced at her exaggerated expression and chuckled. She had known the gate was unusual from the moment it appeared, yet she was acting as though this was the first time she had heard anything about it.

Professor Liang did not notice and continued, "The current readings suggest that it may be a hidden legacy realm. However, we still know very little about what it is inside or why appeared."

"Then why did the Association call it a beast-tide gate?"

"To prevent panic and unnecessary deaths," Professor Liang replied. "If the public learns that an unexplored legacy realm has opened, countless Awakened will rush toward it before anyone understands the danger."

Xingluo nodded slowly while maintaining her curious expression. "So the military sealed the forest to investigate it first?"

"Partly, the military and the Association are also controlling entry until the realm becomes stable. According to the restrictions surrounding the gate, only Awakened between Level 70 and Level 150 can enter."

Xingluo gave another carefully timed look of surprise, causing Wuxia’s lips to twitch.

Professor Liang continued explaining what the scouts had discovered. The gate had not released any beasts, but its internal energy remained unstable, and none of their detection equipment could examine much beyond the entrance.

Several forces had already received a limited number of positions, including the military, the Awakeners Association, and a few major guilds.

"The military has also received several team slots," Professor Liang said. "Because of your new rank and your performance during the competition, one of those positions has been assigned to you."

This time, Xingluo’s surprise was real. "You mean I can enter?"

Professor Liang nodded. "You will be recognised as the leader of a small exploration team. You may bring up to five members with you."

Excitement immediately appeared on Xingluo’s face, while Wuxia released a quiet sigh beside her. Their problem had been solved before they could even begin searching for another way inside.

However, Professor Liang’s expression became grim before Xingluo could celebrate.

"Do not agree too quickly, the final decision is yours, but personally, I am not certain you should enter."

Her excitement faded slightly as she looked at him.

"We do not know what exists inside that realm," he continued. "Some of the people entering will be second-transition professionals far stronger and more experienced than you."

"Even if you survive the trials and beasts, reaching the final legacy will not be easy. Those people will not simply step aside and allow you to claim it."

Professor Liang looked directly at her. "You may die in there."

Xingluo became quiet, though her thoughts were far different from the hesitation he expected.

If I do not enter, then what the hell did the realm open for? I am not letting an opportunity placed directly before me slip away.

She straightened and met his gaze. "I will go, Professor."

Professor Liang frowned slightly, but Xingluo continued before he could stop her.

"I understand that it is dangerous, but I am not going to let an opportunity like this slip out of my hands."

Professor Liang studied her expression for a moment before giving a small nod. "Very well, good luck, then."

He stood from the chair and adjusted his coat. "Meet me at the university entrance tomorrow morning with your team and do not be late."

"I will be there."

Xingluo followed him to the door and watched him leave. The moment he disappeared down the corridor, she closed the door and turned around with a wide smile. "The problem solved itself because of my heavenly luck."

Wuxia shrugged. "First, you need to form a team."

Xingluo walked back toward the bed. "I could enter alone."

"You could," Wuxia replied. "The two of us should be enough and I plan to expand the Soul Army once we enter the realm."

She nodded before suddenly remembering something. "I think I should bring Su Lan and Ruan Mei."

Wuxia looked toward her. "Why?"

"I promised to take them into a dungeon and for the past few days, I have been making excuses whenever they asked."

His expression became more serious. "This is not an ordinary dungeon, people between Level 70 and Level 150 will be entering, and we know nothing about the trials inside."

Xingluo shrugged. "We are not going there to fight the Church. Besides, you and Varkhiel are nearly invincible against anyone below the third transition."

"That does not mean nothing can go wrong."

"I know." She looked at him more seriously. "But I am not planning to let them run around alone. They will remain close to me, and if the situation becomes too dangerous, I will send them back."

Wuxia wanted to argue further, but the excitement on her face made him pause.

Perhaps she was right, this was meant to be her legacy trial and with Varkhiel the Flood Dragons, and the rest of the Soul Army beside them, they should be able to protect two additional people.

He released a quiet sigh. "Fine, but they follow our instructions once we enter."

Xingluo smiled. "Of course."

She picked up her phone. "Now we only need to tell them and prepare everything."

A short while later, Xingluo sent Su Lan and Ruan Mei a message asking them to meet her in one of the secluded training rooms behind the university’s main building.

She refused to explain anything through the phone, which caused Su Lan to send several questions and threats before finally agreeing to come.

When Xingluo arrived, Ruan Mei was already waiting near the entrance with her arms folded. Su Lan appeared a few minutes later, breathing heavily after running across the campus.

Su Lan stopped in front of Xingluo and placed both hands on her knees. "This had better be important, you made it sound like the sky is falling"

"Don’t worry about that I will catch it."

"Then why could you not tell us over the phone?"

Xingluo checked the corridor before opening the training-room door. "Because this is not something I can discuss outside."

The three entered, and Xingluo locked the door behind them.

Ruan Mei watched her carefully. "What happened?"

Xingluo did not answer immediately, she walked toward the centre of the room and turned to face them. "You both saw the gate that appeared yesterday."

Su Lan stared at her. "It would be difficult not to see the giant hole covering half the sky."

"The Association’s announcement was not completely true, it is not an abnormal beast-tide gate."

Ruan Mei’s expression sharpened. "Then what is it?"

"A hidden legacy realm."

Both of them became silent, Xingluo briefly explained that the military and Awakeners Association were controlling access to prevent the public from rushing toward it.

She did not mention the Fate Star Token or that the realm had opened specifically for her.

"The realm only allows people between Level 70 and Level 150 to enter," she continued. "Several major forces have received a limited number of team positions."

Su Lan slowly narrowed her eyes. "Why are you telling us this?"

Xingluo smiled. "Because the military gave me one of those team positions."

Ruan Mei looked at her in surprise. "You are entering?"

"Tomorrow morning."

Su Lan’s eyes widened. "You are going into a secret legacy realm tomorrow, and you only decided to tell us now?"

"I only learned about the position today."

"That is not the important part!"

Xingluo ignored her complaint. "I can bring up to five people with me, and I promised both of you that we would enter a dungeon together."

Su Lan froze for a moment before pointing toward herself. "Are you inviting us?"

"Yes."

The irritation disappeared from Su Lan’s face almost immediately. "Of course I am coming."

Ruan Mei remained calmer, though excitement had also appeared in her eyes. "You understand that we might slow you down."

"I would not have invited you if I thought that was a problem."

Ruan Mei studied her expression before nodding. "Then I will come as well."

Su Lan stepped closer and grabbed Xingluo’s shoulders. "You have finally remembered your responsibilities as our powerful friend."

Xingluo pushed her hands away. "I remembered, I was simply waiting for a suitable opportunity."

"A hidden legacy realm filled with second-transition professionals is your idea of suitable?"

"You already agreed."

Wuxia stood to the side and watched their exchange with an amused expression. After they settled down, the three began discussing what they would need.

Su Lan and Ruan Mei already possessed basic weapons and supplies, but neither of them had equipment suitable for entering an unknown legacy realm.

Xingluo remembered the weapons and armor stored among the loot she had collected. Some had belonged to the enemies she had killed, while several other pieces remained within Wuxia’s reserves.

She raised her hand and took out several pieces of equipment, placing them across the floor.

Light armor, protective accessories, weapons, recovery potions, and several useful consumables quickly formed a small pile in front of them.

Su Lan stared at the equipment before slowly looking toward Xingluo. "Where did all of this come from?"

Ruan Mei picked up one of the armor pieces and examined its markings. "Damm, all of these are far better than university equipment."

Xingluo waved one hand dismissively. "It is a secret."

Su Lan opened her mouth to ask again, but Ruan Mei placed the armor down and stopped her. "If she could tell us, she would."

Xingluo gave her an appreciative look as neither of them continued questioning her. Xingluo had already helped them several times, and they trusted that she would explain when she could.

Su Lan immediately began examining the equipment again, her previous suspicion replaced by excitement. "You are going to carry us through the entire realm, are you not?"

Xingluo raised her chin. "Obviously."

Su Lan picked up a weapon and grinned. "I knew becoming your friend was a good investment."

Ruan Mei looked between them with one eyebrow raised. "At least pretend that you plan to contribute."

"I will contribute emotional support."

They spent the next hour selecting equipment and dividing the supplies. Xingluo made sure both of them had proper defensive armor, recovery items, and weapons they could use without difficulty.

Once everything was prepared, they agreed to meet at the university entrance early the next morning.

Su Lan left carrying her new equipment with visible excitement, while Ruan Mei followed after reminding Xingluo to message them if anything changed.

Xingluo watched them disappear down the corridor before turning toward Wuxia. "That went well."

Wuxia looked at the closed door. "We will see whether you still say that after entering the realm."

She smiled and began gathering the remaining equipment. "Have some faith in my heavenly luck."
