If Adam and Cecilia weren’t already perfectly used to it, they probably would have been scared half to death.
"Adam, quick, take me back! I don’t want to be with this crazy woman anymore! She actually used me to prop up a table leg! When have I ever suffered such humiliation?!" The furious voice of the Dragon Tiger Jade Auspicious Scepter rang out simultaneously.
"Sister Sylvia, there’s an urgent matter, I might need your help!" Adam said with a polite smile, completely ignoring the complaining artifact, what a joke, he could clearly distinguish who the real carry was between the two.
"Adam, you ungrateful wretch! Who was the one that helped you kill the Saint Body of Dual Pupils?! Who helped you block the Nova Clan members?! And now you treat me like this?!" the young girl’s voice yelled indignantly.
"Ahem, I know of your kindness, but don’t panic. I really have an incredibly urgent matter right now, don’t make a fuss!" Naturally, Adam kept the Dragon Tiger Jade Auspicious Scepter’s favors firmly in mind, otherwise, he wouldn’t have kept it by his side while bearing the immense pressure of the Heavenly Court.
"Make a fuss?! You actually say I’m making a fuss?! I..." Before the Scepter could finish, the Faceless Woman casually used spiritual energy to seal its mouth shut.

"It’s like this..." Adam subsequently recounted the horrific events that had transpired in Hundred Rivers City.
After listening, the Faceless Woman pondered deeply for a long time before slowly speaking.
"The Underworld is invading the Yang Realm!"
Adam and Cecilia were both completely stunned in place.
What kind of situation was this?
Inside Hundred Rivers City, in front, behind, to the left, and to the right, there were ghosts everywhere, they were completely surrounded.
Ava and the three other little brats looked at the dense multitude of ghosts kneeling on the ground before them, all of them were so tense they didn’t dare move a single muscle.
They were so close to the ship, why did this suddenly happen?
However, these ghosts didn’t attack them, they merely knelt and bowed reverently toward a specific direction.
This allowed the children to relax their nerves slightly.
"Follow me, walk slowly, and absolutely don’t touch them!" Ava said softly, her chest heaving violently.
She grabbed Sarah’s hand and carefully detoured around the ghosts, slowly making her way toward the ship, the others followed suit, Azel tightly clamped both hands over his mouth, terrified that he might accidentally make a sound and alert these entities.
But suddenly, a ghastly young girl appeared out of thin air right in front of the four, looking at them with an eerie, chilling smile.
"Oh? Four strange little mice, are you with the two who escaped?"
Her voice was like the most piercing winter wind, causing Ava and the other three to tremble uncontrollably.
"How strange, I cannot sense your physiques at all, I can only see you with my naked eyes!"
The girl scrutinized them, her eyes brimming with intense curiosity, these little ones didn’t have high cultivation realms, yet their physiques felt incredibly special.
"Could it be that you have some sort of special spiritual treasure on you?" The girl muttered to herself, slowly approaching the four children.
The children’s bodies were wound tighter than a bowstring, their hearts pounding as if they were about to leap out of their chests.
Right now, they could only pray that the girl wouldn’t discover the secret of their physiques.
If she did, they would be guilty of a terrible crime, the whole reason they were hiding on that small island was to conceal their special physiques, if this woman found out, they would have failed everyone on the island.
"Run!" Mustering her last ounce of courage, Ava suddenly screamed at the top of her lungs.
The other three shook off their terror, spun around, and desperately bolted.
But escaping the girl’s grasp was simply a pipe dream, she casually flicked a streak of chilling Yin energy from her hand, instantly freezing the four little brats’ feet to the ground.
"Still trying to run?" The corners of the girl’s mouth curled up, revealing a playful, teasing smile.
Ava and the others were frozen stiff, completely unable to move, they could only watch helplessly as the girl slowly approached. In this moment, they felt as if the Grim Reaper had locked his gaze on them.
The terror in their hearts reached its absolute peak.
"Wh-What do you want to do?" Ava bit the bullet and stammered.
"You are so unique, I am very curious, so I want to study you a bit!" the girl said casually.
The children’s hearts sank heavily, their little faces plastered with sheer horror, they knew the secret of their tribe was probably done for, and not just their secret, their little lives were probably done for as well.
"No! Mommy, no! I don’t want to die, Mommy!" Azel burst into loud, wailing tears.
"Waaah, I’m only nine years old! Why do I have to go through this?!"
Beside him, Ava also started dropping tears, her face full of despair. "Mommy, I’m sorry! I shouldn’t have snuck out, if there is a next life, I’ll repay you then... waaah..."
"What are you all crying for?! Can’t you have a little backbone? It’s just death, right? What’s the big deal?" Kael tried to speak words of comfort and bravery, but his own legs were shaking uncontrollably.
The girl furrowed her brows, feeling annoyed, just as she was about to snap at them, someone beat her to it.
"Stop crying! This is all my responsibility! But we absolutely cannot leak our secret! I owe you all in this life, and I’ll pay you back in the next!" Ava shouted loudly, although she was loud, her voice was clearly trembling with fear.
After all, they were only little kids around ten years old. Encountering something like this and holding out until now was already incredibly impressive.
"Waaaaaaah!"
"Wuhuuuuhuhuhu!"
The little brats instantly cried even harder, the annoyance on the girl’s face deepened drastically.
"Stop crying! Shut your mouths!" The aura on the girl’s body erupted, and she unleashed a blast of energy!
