Cecilia watched Adam carve the runes, her beautiful eyes brimming with curiosity.

"Okay, Young Master, stay safe!" Cecilia nodded.
Adam stepped into the formation, and the entire island began shaking violently once more, the formation’s light flickered brightly and dimly.
Worry surfaced in Cecilia’s eyes, just as she was about to speak, she heard Adam’s voice. "Don’t worry, this is normal."
Right after, Adam’s figure abruptly vanished.
Because he had set up specific coordinates in the Spirit-Forsaken Land, he didn’t need to tear directly through the spatial barrier like last time, he only needed the spatial teleportation formation.
However, traversing between two worlds still required colossal energy, that was why the island shook and the formation’s light flickered.
Within the same world, spatial teleportation would be much simpler, with no need to contend with spatial barriers.
This was also why, once someone became powerful enough, they could casually tear open spatial rifts.
Cecilia stared at the formation until its light completely faded before retracting her gaze, she felt nervous, even though Adam had reassured her, she couldn’t put her heart completely at ease.

"Chief, you’re finally back! That’s wonderful!" Adam turned and saw one of the tribal guards.
The location he appeared at was the teleportation point he had set up previously, to prevent wild beasts from destroying it, he had ordered a full twenty-four-hour watch.
"Yes, I’m back, hurry and notify the tribe members to get ready, we are leaving this place immediately." Adam smiled and nodded.
"I’ll prepare the exit formation here, and then I’ll head over."
"Yes, Chief!" The guard didn’t hesitate, with an incredibly excited expression, he turned and ran back to notify the others.
This was fantastic, they could finally leave this place and go to the outside world.
Adam watched the guard’s excited retreating figure, the corners of his mouth curling up, he wondered if these guys would still be smiling when they saw the desolate scenery outside.
He turned and continued setting up the formation, he had left a foundation here back then.
Since it was unharmed, things would be much more convenient now.
Suddenly, while carving and completing the array, the sound of something piercing the wind came from behind him, Adam didn’t even turn his head, he simply reached back and effortlessly caught the incoming stone.
"Stop! Don’t destroy the formation left by the Chief!" A tender, young girl’s voice cried out.
A little girl with thick pigtails, leading three other children of roughly the same age, appeared behind Adam, they were all holding slingshots.
"Ava, shouldn’t we notify the adults first?!" A boy’s eyes showed fear, and the slingshot in his hand trembled slightly.
This person had caught a fired stone backhandedly, he was definitely someone incredibly powerful.
"Yeah, Ava, we’ve never seen this person before, judging by his clothes, he doesn’t look like someone from the tribe, he might be from the outside world like the Chief!" another little girl said with worry.
"What’s wrong with you guys? Scared already? By the time we bring the adults here, this bad guy will have already destroyed the formation the Chief left behind!" The pigtailed girl furrowed her little brows, drawing the band of her slingshot tighter.
With his back to the four little brats, Adam felt somewhat helpless, they could figure out he was from the outside world, so why couldn’t they figure out he was their Chief?
"What are you little rascals trying to do? Start a rebellion?" Adam turned around with a helpless smile.
The four little brats’ eyes instantly widened, and they shouted in perfect unison.
"Chief!"
"Chief!"
Their eyes were wide open, filled with sheer disbelief.
The Chief, whom they hadn’t seen for so long, had actually appeared right in front of them.
"Chief, I thought you wouldn’t come back..."
"Shut up!" A little boy had just opened his mouth when Ava abruptly cut him off.
"Is the Chief that kind of person? The Chief said he would come back, so he will definitely come back! Quick, put all your slingshots away!"
Ava hurriedly tucked her slingshot into the strap slung across her waist, then dashed toward Adam.
"Chief, we’re sorry, we thought you were a bad guy from the outside, so we attacked you."
