But very quickly, Adam noticed something amiss, these skeletons didn’t seem to be randomly scattered on the ground.

"Then where is the center of the circle?" Adam looked in a certain direction, locking onto a target.

"Cecilia, follow me!"

"Yes, Young Master!" Cecilia didn’t know what her Young Master was planning, but following him was enough.

Every set distance, Adam would cut down some Sword Grass to check the distribution of skeletons on the ground.

Adam had expected some resistance, but those skeletons were instantly pulverized into fine powder, and beneath them grew several black flowers.

The petals of these flowers, much like the blades of the Sword Grass, were shaped exactly like swords.

However, these flowers possessed not a single trace of vitality, they looked like completely dead objects.

"These are Sword Flowers!" Looking at these black blossoms, Adam’s eyes first flashed with joy, then quickly shifted to confusion.

Sword Flowers, like Sword Grass, were exceptional materials for forging precious swords.

Moreover, the effects of Sword Flowers were significantly superior to Sword Grass, even more importantly, Sword Flowers could act as a catalyst, allowing one to comprehend the Sword Lotus.

It was just that Sword Flowers, like Sword Grass, had long been extinct, he never expected to actually see them here.

"Retreat first!" Adam pulled Cecilia back, not making any rash moves.

The skeletons reassembled themselves into complete corpses, these corpses had no flesh or blood, only ghastly white bones, yet they could actually piece themselves back together, it was simply too bizarre.

The corpses stood up from the ground and took to the air, flying straight at Adam and Cecilia, although they lacked flesh, the weapons in their hands were of all shapes and sizes, all entirely made of white bone, some held swords, some held spears, and some even held bows.

"Kill!" Adam let out an explosive shout, swinging the Yellow Emperor’s Sword directly at the skeleton charging at the front.

A sharp sound of colliding metal rang out, fortunately, the combat strength of these white bone skeletons wasn’t very high, it was cleanly cleaved in two.

However, before Adam could rejoice, the skeleton that had fallen in two pieces actually began to reassemble itself again.

Adam’s expression shifted, this was going to be troublesome, the number of skeletons on this Sword Grass plain was virtually uncountable, if they were all immortal like this, he and Cecilia would very likely be exhausted to death here.

A cold light flashed from Cecilia’s blade, and a skeleton in front of her was slashed into tiny fragments, this time, it didn’t reassemble.

Suddenly, he looked down at those lifeless Sword Flowers, although they were covered layer upon layer by skeletons, Adam keenly noticed that the stems were faintly glowing with a crimson, bloody light, something was wrong.

"Spring Radiance!" Adam violently swung the Yellow Emperor’s Sword.

The skeletons in front were instantly cleared out, all turning into shattered fragments raining down, soon, Adam cleaved away the entire pile, fully exposing the black Sword Flowers hidden inside.

Looking at the Sword Flowers on the ground, Adam’s eyes were full of doubt, these Sword Flowers had clearly gone extinct long ago.

Why would they appear here, and in such a bizarre state? What exactly was going on with these skeletons? Why could they still reassemble after being dead for so many years, and even possess the strength they had in life? This was far too abnormal.

But no matter what, he had to try slashing these Sword Flowers to see what would happen.

Adam swiftly swung the Yellow Emperor’s Sword, and terrifying sword qi slashed directly at the Sword Flowers, right at the moment the sword qi touched the petals, the stems of these lifeless Sword Flowers suddenly straightened sharply.
