"Little friend, don’t worry, pulling your ship over was desperation, rest assured, my power is absolutely fine, the world isn’t that sinister, if I wanted to harm you, I would have done so already!" The mysterious voice spoke again, its tone incredibly gentle.

"Senior, we don’t mind the matter of pulling our ship over, and we understand your desperation, we also hope Senior can understand our caution." Adam cupped his fists.

Although the words sounded pleasant, and that energy was indeed massive, Adam felt that absorbing it could push him to the peak of the Fourth Heaven of the Deity Realm, but he still couldn’t bring himself to trust this voice.

The mysterious voice fell silent before speaking again, sounding helpless.

"If you are so resolute, I won’t force it, it’s just that this power will go to waste, this is spiritual energy I have slowly refined over a millennium, prepared for someone predestined."

Since the beginning, this voice claimed to have broken through its seal, yet it still hadn’t revealed itself, if he truly had good intentions, why not show his true face? That would inspire much more trust.

Coupled with the fact that this island had dense spiritual energy but absolutely no powerful demonic beasts, there wasn’t even a single creature that had developed sentience.

This was a typical setup for a prison island designed to detain someone.

The master of this voice definitely had ulterior motives.

Adam and Cecilia exchanged a glance and decided not to hesitate, they circulated their spiritual energy and prepared to leave the cave.

"Have you truly decided to leave? For you, this power is a once-in-a-lifetime fortuitous encounter." The mysterious voice rang out, sounding regretful.

"We appreciate Senior’s good intentions, and we are glad Senior has broken the seal, but we will pass on this energy, we will take our leave now!" Adam replied warily.

"Since that is the case, I won’t force you to stay, just be careful, you might encounter obstacles on your way." The mysterious voice sighed.

"If you ever need anything, feel free to come back."

Adam and Cecilia immediately prepared to leave.

However, just as they were about to exit the cave, a powerful force surged toward them from all directions.

"Not good!" Adam’s expression shifted.

Sure enough, this guy was not a benevolent character.

Perhaps he hadn’t broken the seal at all, making them accept this power was probably just a trick to help him break free.

"You both deserve death! Since you refuse the power, then go to hell!" The mysterious voice dropped its facade entirely, its tone turning hoarse, grating, and evil.

Adam and Cecilia immediately joined forces to face this sudden, powerful surge.

The opponent’s power was bizarre, it wasn’t overwhelmingly strong, working together, they could parry it. But it seemed completely endless.

"Don’t think about leaving here, although I cannot leave the seal, over time I have slowly refined this entire island."

"The power I can exert is limited, but my spiritual energy is endless. Sooner or later, you will be bled dry and die here."

"If you don’t want to die, then obediently accept that power!"

The mysterious voice was laced with burning anger, waiting a thousand years for someone to finally arrive, only for them to be this unbelievably cautious.

As they clashed, the entire island was struck by powerful shockwaves, the earth shook and the mountains trembled. Adam and Cecilia didn’t feel too strained fighting back, but a prolonged battle of attrition wasn’t a solution.

A seal? That means a formation?

Adam’s eyes narrowed, he had thought of a way to deal with this.

Since the seal has loosened and given you an opening, I’ll just reinforce it.

His figure began flickering across various positions on the cave ceiling, he carefully sensed the layout of the sealing formation.

"How is this possible?! You know this formation?! This is a secret of the Wind Spirit Sect! Could it be you are from the Wind Spirit Sect?!"

"What is the Wind Spirit Sect? I have no idea." Adam shook his head, if it was a sect from a thousand years ago, it was impossible for him to know about it.

"Then why are you able to complete this formation?!"

"Why wouldn’t I be able to? A single glance is all it takes to learn it!"

"What?! A single glance?!" The mysterious voice was beyond shocked.

"Heaven and Earth Cage, confine!" Adam let out another low shout.

The formation flared with brilliant light and slowly contracted toward the center of the cave.

The mysterious voice let out a roar of absolute rage, and that mysterious power abruptly exploded, attempting to smash through the formation’s bindings, however, under Adam’s control, the formation glowed continuously, ruthlessly and heavily suppressing that power.
