"Beep——"

A sharp buzzing sound rang out, and Zheng Chunhua realized that he had already entered the game arena.

He quickly looked around, and sure enough, the starting position was not the lounge but the actor’s dressing room.

During the community’s review of the ’Jury Game’, it had already been mentioned that in role-playing games, the actor players’ dressing room differs from the general players’ lounge in two obvious ways:

First, there’s the makeup table with a makeup mirror equipped with fill lights and a variety of cosmetics.

Second, prominently positioned on the coffee table is a ’Setting Book’.

However, unlike the ’Jury Game’, this time the setting book is noticeably thicker, not just a few pages.

The large screen still defaults to displaying the layout of the outside area.

This time, the venue structure is quite simple: the main structure is a standard rectangular stage, with the audience seating in front of the stage.

The audience seating comprises 18 seats, arranged three per group around a small coffee table, divided into front and back rows.

Besides that, the stage area seems to have a second level, with six additional seats.

Furthermore, each of the six communities has an actor’s dressing room and an audience lounge.

A moment later, the large screen began displaying the game rules.

[Good morning, players, and welcome to ’One-sided Story’.]

[This game is a role-playing game, and will follow the basic framework rules of this genre.]

[If you’ve forgotten the basic framework rules, please carefully read the content on the first page of the ’Setting Book’.]

[The following are the detailed rules and process of ’One-sided Story’.]

[———I, Preparation———]

[Story background: A young man attempted suicide but failed.]

[6 actors will each portray a role related to him, namely: teacher, professor, supervisor, mediator, mother, lover.]

[Each actor will receive their own ’Setting Book’, which details specific information only their character would know.]

[Before the official start of the game, time will be reserved to allow community audience members to enter the dressing room to study the script with the actors and devise strategies.]

[However, after the game officially starts, actors and audiences can no longer communicate in any way.]

[———II, Audience———]

[In this game, there are ’general audience’ and ’VIP audience’.]

[Before the official start of the performance, audiences can freely vote to select a ’VIP audience’ member in each community.]

[The ’VIP audience’ can only watch the performance from the VIP seats on the second floor throughout and are not allowed to communicate with any other players in any form. But they can vote normally.]

[———III, Performance———]

[The performance will consist of three acts, with six scenes per act.]

[The 6 actors will take turns taking the stage to perform ’past conversations with the deceased’.]

[The specific dialogue content is to be improvised by the actors based on their ’Setting Book’.]

[After all actors have performed thrice, it is considered ’performance over’, and the calculation phase begins.]

[Please note that if an actor performs anything explicitly inconsistent with the ’Setting Book’ (including other players’ setting books), they will be deemed a ’Liar’ and may face special penalties upon discovery, during the settlement process.]

[———IV, Intermission———]

[During the intermission, the audience can return to their respective community lounges and engage in the following activities:]

[1. Call (limited to once per intermission)]

[Choose to initiate a call with another community. Only if the initiating community calls and the other side chooses to answer will a call be consumed.]

[2. Inquiry (limited to once for the entire game)]

[You can choose to question a particular actor, posing a clear question. The actor must respond directly according to the content in the setting book without hiding any information, otherwise, it will be considered a violation.]

[3. Question (limited to once for the entire game)]

[You can ask the entire audience any ’question related to the plot’, but it must be a question that can be answered with a clear ’yes’ or ’no’.]

[The total number of correct answers from each community will determine the specific rewards and penalties for this game.]

[———V, Sinners———]

[Among the 6 actors, there are 2 ’Special Players’, who, due to character settings, are more likely to know core secrets through special information from the ’Setting Book’.]

[The goal of the Special Players is to use the game mechanics to mislead other players as much as possible, ensuring they cannot uncover the truth before the game ends.]

[Upon success, they will receive additional rewards.]

[———VI, Settlement———]

[1. Base Score]

[Actor Score: Will be automatically scored based on how well each actor’s performance aligns with their character in each scene, default scoring is 1~60 points per performance, totaling 180 points.]

[Audience Score: Will be based on the correctness of audience responses to questions; a total of 6 questions, with 4 audience members having a total of 24 response opportunities, each correct answer earns +5 points, incorrect answers earn no points. Total of 120 points.]

[The sum of the two is the community base score, with a maximum of 300 points.]

[2. Weighted Score]

[During the game, each community can continuously ’guess the truth’ in the lounge.]

[If guessed correctly, the community that ’discovers the truth’ will receive an additional ’+50%’ score, while other community scores remain unchanged.]

[Conversely, if no community guesses the truth, the score of the Special Players’ community will get an additional ’+30%’, while the other four communities will get an additional ’-30%’.]

[3. Total Score and Reward/Penalty Rules]

[Communities will rank from 1st to 6th according to their total scores from high to low.]

[6th place: Actors and audience members receive an instant death penalty.]

[5th place: Actors receive an instant death penalty, and the audience loses all visa time (minimum 100,000).]

[4th place: Actors lose all visa time (minimum 100,000) and audience loses half visa time (minimum 50,000).]

[The deducted visa time will enter the total prize pool.]

[3rd place: Actors and audience each receive 10,000 minutes of visa time.]

[2nd place: Actors and audience share ’40% of the total prize pool’.]

[1st place: Actors and audience share ’60% of the total prize pool’.]

[Special Penalty: If it is suspected that there is a ’Liar’ in the game, a finger can be pointed at any time, each accusation deducting 20,000 minutes of visa time. If the accusation is successful, ’Liar’ community’s corresponding reward can be seized at game settlement, or your community’s penalty can be transferred to the ’Liar’ community (choose one).]

[Any acts of violence or severe violations are strictly prohibited in this game.]

[There is a 30-minute preparation time before the performance officially begins.]

[Audiences can enter the actor’s dressing room through the door of the community lounge to study the script and devise strategies with the actors.]

[During this time, also complete the voting for the ’VIP audience’.]

[Please be prepared, and wish everyone a spectacular performance!]
